Since last Wednesday (5 days ago):
Greg's dad went into the hospital
We looked at a promising house
We went to Door County with friends to celebrate Greg's 30th birthday
Both sets of parents came up to inspect said house (they have a bunch of reno experience and we'd be asking for help on stuff)
Drove down to visit Greg's dad in the hospital
Decided to not put an offer in on that house
Which is a good thing because I got fired because of my fucking personality apparently
And we got word that his dad is facing a months-long recovery from whatever lung infection he has, which is not a good prognosis for someone who was already on oxygen
It's been a Fucken Week my dudes.
Hi can you reblog my post or signal boost that's donation post because my mother and father sick we want to buy maintenance medicine i don't have a job because of the pandemic hope you understand thank you..
Of course! I hope you can get the medicine for your parents!! Good luck!
my f*ther is home now i wish they wouldâve kept him longer tbh heâs detoxing off meds and itâd be safer for everyone but thatâs u.s. healthcare, yâall!
(TW parent illness)
I just had to help hold my birth fatherâs arms down, as he pulled out is nasogastric tube despite having these mittens on his hands that look like fursuit paws. We are not close for complicated reasons. But it is still hard to see.

Tl;dr My mom has lung cancer and we need help paying her medical bills and all the others that have been piling up. . I havenât posted much about this but my mom has stage 4 lung cancer. Sheâs been receiving treatment for a year now. Her work has been horrible to her and have been increasing her stress and depression. For the longest time, they wouldnât let her apply for Long term disability, and didnât even let her know all the options she had in terms of leave from work and disability. On top of all this are the bills of course, medical and all the others. Weâre just barely making it through and right now my mom is applying to reduce her payments. She was approved for social security disability services but wonât start receiving payments till January. She is currently on leave from her job and has not been paid in two months. My siblings and I do all we can to help out but itâs still very hard. I would appreciate any and all donations to my Paypal. My email address is [email protected] It would be really nice to reduce at least this point of stress on her and all of us. Thank you
My superhero mother had her first round of chemo yesterday, on her 70th birthday, and today she reports sheâs âa little tired.â Her case is complicated, but whatever happens sheâs tough enough not to let it affect her quality of life while sheâs undergoing treatment. This is a blessing.
I wish I could help
My mom - she's sick. Stage 3 breast cancer. I....What do I even do? I'm a doctor, I should be able to help her.
