Calum was always the over protective dad when his little princess was sick. He would keep her home from school the minute she started sniffling or coughing, and calls to Joy wouldn't be an uncommon phenomenon. So the one night that his little pride and joy would come walking into his room with tears staining her eyes because her stomach hurt Calum would freak out. He knew that he needed to try and figure out how to do this, so he went downstairs into the medicine cabinet and found some of the children's medicine that Joy ended up buying for him. His daughter would try and get out of taking it but he told her so many times that she needed it to feel better. A few minutes after taking the medicine Calum could tell that she was getting sleepy. He picked her up and laid her on top of him so she could cuddle with her dad to make her feel better.
