This is War || Mary, Sirius, Bellatrix, Rabastan, and Rodolphus
The castle was still, but Mary's head was a bustling blur of all the events that had taken place in the last year. Her wand was held firmly in her right hand and she walked close enough to, Sirius that her arm touched his. Neither mentioned the closes of the bodies, knowing it was for comfort and nothing more. The twitchy nature of her anxiety had her shaking from head too toe, she hoped Sirius wouldn't notice, she could not show fear, not here not now, there was too much at stake. Flashes of what happened to her last year played over and over in her minds eyes as the pair continued closer to the dungeons. Biting her lips hard she closed her and stopped for a moment, quieting her mind as best she could but the sound of, Lorcan's laugh still echoed through her ears. Inhaling deeply she looked over her shoulder at, Sirius and gave a weary smile. If this was it, she had no regrets about they were about to do. This was was right, Mary was sure of it.
The dungeons where just as quiet as the rest of the normally frantic castle. Three figures stood waiting and Mary knew instantly who they we're. But how had they known, who told them Sirius and she were on their way, her heart began to race again, and she gripped her wand tighter.
“Someone warned them we were coming.” She whispered to Sirius. “Three of them two us, don't let them separate us.” Mary knew Sirius, was on the same page as her, but she had to say it.
