and as if on cue , wiz follows fyuga's example --- turning from curious over her wail and dramatics ( including the abrupt , rapid check of daisuke's set-aside watch that its owner dryly catches , ) to flopping himself down and rolling beside her , now two enormous white balls of fur begging the niwa for food while he was supposed to be focusing on page after page of homework .
a part of him's tempted to just place the papers into fyuga's paws , a first-instinct impulse that he halts then shakes his head at . "aliens ate my homework" was a takeshi level excuse , seriously ... even if , at least underneath the roof of his bizarrely inhabited mansion , it would have been the truth . still with no progress to be made on the front of middleschool geometry he finally stands up from his desk and lets out a long sigh .
' if i get you guys something , will you knock it off ? i'm trying to concentrate ... ' though , when was the last time he had even eaten , anyways ? his mother had been preparing a slow-cooking stew for hours in a bowl enormous enough to break world records . although she hadn't called for him , maybe it was close to being finished --- or at least close enough that he could try to sneak a few scoops and bowls .
