Toni had actually spent a pretty penny to make this happen tonight. He’d spoken to family to get them to come out to the theater for Star Wars. It was the second time he and Logan would be seeing it, and this time, there would be a preview in there that was created just by him. Of course he wanted to see the movie again, but he also had something that he wanted to do.

This was the moment. They’d talked about it, joked about it. Logan had been asking for a ring for a while and little did she know he had one. Had been saving for it since he realized after college that he loved her. He’d fallen for her every single day since then. They hadn’t been together for years, but they had known each other and been friends for years. No matter what, he always came back to Logan. Sometimes during relationships he was already in. She just eclipsed everyone else around him.  Maybe he was rushing, maybe they weren’t ready, but how would he truly know?

So now here they were another night, seemingly watching the movie that he loved once more. Everyone, except maybe Logan’s family, was in on the proposal. He wasn’t so sure they wouldn’t have tried to sabotage it before it happened. As he sat next to her, he knew that there would be a bit of time before the particular movie preview started up. He took a nervous breath, and he sat sort of quietly and nervously there. When it was about to come up, he leaned over and said, “I heard this preview is going to be good.” He waited as the preview began. Of course he planned to get down on one knee and to actually say some words, but he just wanted to see her initial unsuspecting reaction to seeing all he had put together and this grand gesture for her. 

Johanna was excited - truth be told - for this Labor Day.

Ever since she and Logan...hooked up, they've gotten a lot closer, but Jo lived with the constant fear that they would just not work, not make it, or just not make sense. But the idea of a date, a real date with Logan, so far away from Manhattan where they could be truly free to do whatever they wanted, in public, was just making her heart stutter. She cared about him - she did. He was the first guy that ever really appreciated her, and called her ouot on her crap too. He taught her so much in so little, and she became a better person for him. She wanted to become a better person. She wanted him to be proud of her, and wanted him to take her places and boast about her being his girlfriend, and they finally were.

Johanna felt Logan's arms wound around her as they slept in the room she stayed in. Logan made sure now to spend almost every night with her and make sure she fell asleep first before he could ever allow himself to. And he always woke up when she did and tried to help her sleep again. Just staying within his hold made her feel better, safer, but she knew it was taking a toll on him, that he didn't sleep sometimes at all for her sake.

You never forget the first person you kill - this is something Kebira had heard her throughout the years, continuously. First from movies, then from the media. As she became more involved and interested in the mutant community, it was reinforced there was well. And now finally, at Armour University. Their face - the faces of the person you murdered - will be imprinted on your mind until you too breathe your last breath. Almost like a curse.

But Kebira hadn't killed anyone. She never had and never would(or so she hoped). So why couldn't she get the faces of the 8... 10... 14 men that Pietro had taken down, out of her mind? Their faces.. the sounds of their unconscious bodies gurgle in desperation to breath against their slit throats.. all of the blood. It was everywhere, flooding her mind.

They were all dead. But it wasn't her fault.

For a few days Kebira hid within the walls of her small dorm room, as if they would shelter her from the realities of what she had faced. Then when Pietro pursued her, she hid behind Steve. Once she could no longer deal with being a victim and cowering, Kebira hid behind her cold, bitchy demeanor. But even that didn't shelter her from her own mind. And it was becoming so tiring to wake up in the night with scorched sheets and a throbbing head. So she knew she had to do something.

Maybe actually talk about it.

It was the a Friday, the Friday right before the Summer Session was to start up. Kebira knew how dumb it was to wander through teachers offices. They'd likely be off enjoying their short lived freedom from students but Kebira knew he'd be there. He had to. She couldn't take much more of her own thoughts.

"Claws." Kebira knocked on the shut office door. "I know you're in there. I want access to a training room." She knocked again. It wasn't the summer session yet so, from what she understood, she needed an adviser or professors key code to access one of the rooms but really, that wasn't her priority. Logan she could talk to. Logan could make sense of this. And she trusted him. For some weird reason, Kebira trusted Logan.

It had been a Saturday when she saw him again. It would've been a lie to say that she hadn't missed Logan. The boy had been her only friend in high school but after graduation she hadn't seen him since. Of course with two government services breathing down her neck the girl didn't exactly have much time to think about past friendships.

That was of course until she looked up from where she was stabbing the ice cream in her iced coffee to see a very familiar man pass right in front of her. Standing up quickly Peggy leant over the bench she was seated at, her torso poking out the window of the coffee store she was in, eyes widening as she looked at the man.

Johanna had spent quiet a while with Logan and Henry outside of the sector - and she was healing quiet well. She was still limping, and wasn't sure if it'll ever go away, the limp, but it didn't hurt. The bruises faded but the scars remained, sick reminders of her two hours of hell inside that cellar back in the sector. Truth be told, it never left Johanna's mind, even when she put on a brave face and even dared to joke about the whole incident sometimes, whenever she closed it her eyes it was like she was reliving the nightmare all over again.
