Introduced in 3421 CE, the K22 is a blowback "designer" pistol designed and manufactured by MinLux Holdings, a perfume company which entered the defense industry about 250 years into its existence at the whims of former CEO Hy'lfi Nuro May'toro. Despite the pistol's strange origins and some odd design choices, the K22 is quite the popular platform and makes a significant portion of MinLux's bottom line. It's chambered in the high velocity 5.7x28mm cartridge, which makes it quite handy at punching through light armor, plus it minimizes collateral damage from overpenetration or ricochets. Recoil is also quite minimal, which helps with accuracy. One of the strangest details of the K22's design is the use of three recoil springs, with the primary spring located over the barrel and two much lighter springs flanking it. No one's really sure why it was designed like this, the design team seemed to have vanish shortly once the K22 hit production, but with the gun continuing to work fine Β no one really changed it. Most K22s ordered from MinLux are made to order, and the customer has plenty of options when it comes to customization. Polymer colors, grip styles, barrel and frame length, a plethora of accessories, and ammo counter display colors are the main example. With the standard config, you get a full size frame with a 132.1mm barrel, a 20 round magazine, a backlight ammo counter installed in the slide, and custom rubber grips specially made to fit your grip. MSRP: 850 Studs
