This year they are conducted by Ukrainian conductor Kirill Karabits and their concerts included Panufnik's „Sinfonia Elegiaca“ and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 7 in C major, Op. 60 „Leningrad“ - both pieces that have been said to be protests against the brutality of war.
