Turtle Updates: Ankylopoda found dead in a ditch, Archelosauria now basically uncontested (not that it *really* was contested before but morphological characters matter to some of us lol), Eunotosaurus is NOT a stem turtle and thats a big reason things have been thrown off. The earliest turtles were likely fossorial archosauromorphs that quickly colonized shallow water habitats. Also broadened ribs (and occassionally shells) from fossorial creatures is apparently happening enough around the pt boundary that the term 'turtleization' was dropped
