anyway lately i’ve been thinking about an au where the tributes rebel and then get to live so i’ve been thinking about how he would get along with the other tributes
i’ve said it before- but him and reaper would 100% be best friends. i see them as having similar morals and values so i just think they would relate to each other really well. plus, i see them both as like the big brothers of the group.
i think he would also get along really well with jessup. i could see the three of them as a little friend group.
i also think he’d get along with tanner and treech but in a different way. i sort of see them as being slightly less serious and more silly than the first three so they’re the ones who bring out the fun side of all the guys.
i think he’s definitely very much an over-protective brother when it comes to the young ones. he really enjoys spending time with mizzen, dill, wovey, bobbin, and teslee. i can see him patiently sitting there while wovey explains the different fabrics of his clothes or letting mizzen infodump about sea creatures.
coral and panlo aren’t the best of friends- but she likes him because of how kind he is to mizzen.
i also think he wouldn’t get along as well with facet and velvereen. he would never be rude or do anything to indicate that they weren’t his favorites to be around- they just don’t view the world in the same way.
i think panlo is absolutely the go-to person for advice or venting. the most silly thing i’ve thought of when thinking about all of this is that panlo always has random little sayings and it becomes a running joke to refer to them as ‘panerisms’.
