As I try to put the events of the past week out of my mind, I do at least have one piece of better news which is that I'm participating in the beta test for Nexus Anima. I wasn't sure what to expect but I got to play it for a bit today and my first impressions are really positive. The MC designs are beautiful and there are way more MC dialogue options along with a stat-based dialogue mechanic which gives the game a novel feel compared with Genshin and HSR. I don't want to say too much regarding the story as I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I think the prologue is pretty engaging and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into the world-building of the game. Plus Blade's introduction is just *chef's kiss*
I won't post too much about the game here unless people are interested but I will give my final thoughts on whether it's worth picking up once the test is finished.
