So can I offer you guys another AU that's been festering in my mind for over a year now

FMA x TOH AU, in which human girl Winry ends up on the boiling isles and becomes a witch apprentice to the amazing Hawk Lady

“A Slice of Fullmetal” is what I’ve dubbed my FMA modern slice of life AU.

Edward has a myoelectric prosthetic arm with open-close hand functions (so he has to do anything that takes fine motor control with his other hand), covered by a realistic silicon cover for the hand and forearm. So you can only really tell if you look really close, the elbow or upper arm is uncovered (which it usually isn’t unless he’s comfortable), or he gets a tan. His leg is pretty standard, and he doesn’t have a cover for it; he, again, never really has it uncovered unless he’s comfortable. Similar to canon, he just sees his prosthetics as useful and as a means to an end.

Paninya has two pairs of prosthetic legs: the ones she wears for everyday activities, and her running blades. She never covers them up unless it’s cold and she needs to wear long pants, cuz she likes to wear them proudly. She cherishes her prosthetics, and being able to stand again made her realize how much she loves running. That’s why she has running blades. She likes to run with them. She’s a track star.
