1. When people ask you for a WATER cup but get anything but WATER. Like if you can’t afford or are too cheap to get a soda/iced tea/iced coffee cup then don’t drink it. Customers say Panera can afford to give out free soda but that’s not the point. You’re just being an asshole.

2. When a customer is on the phone while you’re trying to take their order. Like you’re being so rude. Put the phone down and be a normal human being.

3. Going out of my way to kindly greet customers and have them not say anything nice back. Like I don’t have to ask you how you’re doing, but I did. So like could you just try and give me the same respect?

4. When people call “muffies” “muffles”. Like do you know how to read?

5. When people order a u pick 2 and just say I want the soup and salad or the salad and sandwich. Like? What? Do? You? Want? A Caesar salad and broccoli cheddar? A bacon turkey bravo and a mac and cheese? I get paid to take your order, not read your mind.

6. When customers say that they want a half order of mac and cheese. Like that doesn’t exist? It’s small or large. Read the sign.

7. When customers say that want a bagel toasted with cream cheese? Like specify the type of bagel. For the love of God.

8. When a customers comes in at 7 at night and asks if she can have an asiago bacon egg and cheese. Then gets pissed off because we stop serving breakfast sandwiches at 10:30. First of all, they’re called breakfast sandwiches for a reason. Yes I know McDonald’s has them all day, but you came to Panera.

9. “Do you want bread, chips or an apple with your meal?” “bread chips” Like?! What?! We don’t have fucking bread chips.

10. “Do you want your bread sliced thin or thick?” “Standard” Like that wasn’t an option?
