The last paper is almost done, almost there! It's all outlined and just needs to be refined, so basically an hour of work or so. Other than that? Not much has happened. I went to a lit fest this past weekend, where I volunteered, and that was a lot of fun. I actually got my first signed book from it so yippee!

I am back in space now! Literally just finished writing the second they enter space.

Other than writing I have reorganized my room. I finally got to put my cork board back up and some other framed pictures. Along with some other stuff I got from comic con last year. It took me like twelve hours to properly organize. I went through old journals and sketchbooks- That totally did not delay me at all. But hey the decor made my room more aesthetic~

I finally got to the part that this entire rewrite was for- Just the entire past two chapters all I could hear was "there goes my baby." Because once again this is my favorite character. I LOVE ERIN! The amount of work that went into their culture, their design- them. I just love them. And I am so happy to have them back after fifteen chapters. UGH!

Which does mean I am almost back to where I should be with my rewrite! Yay!

Volunteering at the literary festival yesterday wiped me out! I literally went to bed at 8:30, no joke. My body is still worn out, and I was contemplating going to bed at the same time. However, here I am.

In the fog, more ideas have come. However, those ideas have logistical issues. As in, how do you wear a masquerade mask and a gas mask? I want a character to have a masquerade-esque mask. However, there is a scene where they need a gas mask- How does that even work? Maybe I have to go wear both masks for science.

I have so many ideas for my next project- Well, technically, it's two projects from now? Because so my next work is a duology, and the duology happens at the same time. The one I keep having ideas for is the one I plan on writing second. BUT I NEED TO WRITE THE SCI-FI FIRST! I am getting messed up with some mapping issues and setting stuff when it comes to the book. I need to... figure out how an airplane works but like visually. There are some airplane museums near me. Though for the next week I am busy, after I plan to go. Hopefully, I can write the next part without it? If not I will continue to focus on writing my outlines for my substack-

WHICH, is what I have been doing instead of writing my book. Right now I have three articles that need to be edited and then I can make them all pretty before getting them ready. I plan on prepping ten before I launch, just for a safety cushion. Watch out for that!

Tonight however is an early night, I went to the beach and am... sleepy

I have taken a breather from writing for the past two days because I have went so hard on it for the past month to catch up on where I was. I have been working on the timeline, and making sure that when I get back to it next week I will be good to go. Right now I am mostly reading and doing my other hobbies like art... which I have not touched properly in honestly years. My brushes are all crusted so I need to go get new ones- which sucks. But doing more than just writing helps my writing.

You know that joke about how many times writers rewrite their first chapter? The answer is always a lot. I have honestly lost count on the amount of rewrites for the first chapter. I like the new start for Chapter One. Well technically the new new start. I just wanna get to Chapter Three and Two and back to space! I miss the space settings.
