The #goecha-la-pass, as you know is one of the most challenging destinations, let alone the fact that it is also a huge hit among trekkers for the #adventure. If you already are a trekker, you’d clearly know that the moment of being completely blown away by the view is usually at the highest point of the #trek.
But, hold that thought! This is the Goecha la Trek we are talking about. You might want to bear a few things in mind before #hiking all the way up.
There are 3 viewpoints of Goecha-La trek. Travelers are usually taken to viewpoint one. The actual Goecha-La peak view is viewpoint 2. But, unfortunately last year for reasons unknown the government was refusing trekkers from going to the viewpoint two.
Be prepared for a highly unpredictable weather. It’s complimentary to the terrain. Snow storms, rain, hail- they are regular visitors! Hey, don’t freak out, there are sunny days too. The right shoes and clothes can be a savior.
The trek offers a crystal clear view of the mighty Mt. Kachendzonga. You’ll more than see it! Get ready to camp under its shadows with Mt. Pandim, the side-kick!
