“It must’ve been the nargles, they can be so bothersome.” Pandora said it with all the authority of Professor McGonagall. Lucinda, who’d been looking everywhere for a charmed bracelet she’d lost, sighed deeply. “Where do nargles keep stolen items?” Lucinda asked. Narcissa could see the conviction grow in her expression. Pandora, though a strange figure, wasn’t known to lie. She shrugged sadly and placed a hand on Lucinda’s shoulder. “I’m trying to figure it out. They took my watch last week,” Pandora said solemnly. Another lie that Lucinda swallowed without thinking. “I’ll let you know if I see anything,” Pandora assured Lucinda, before she shrugged apologetically and walked directly to her dormitory. Narcissa followed without a word. She only started to smile when the rest of their house couldn't see her. Pandora was waiting in the dormitory, Lucinda’s silver bracelet dangling between her fingers. Two days ago, Narcissa had expressed how much she wanted one like it — a subtle hint towards a potential Christmas present that Pandora clearly hadn’t quite understood. “Got you something,” Pandora smiled, holding the bracelet out for Narcissa to take. “Don’t let her see.” The words “I love you,” left Narcissa’s lips without a second thought.

Narcissa suspected she’d fallen victim to amortentia. There was no other explanation for her racing heartbeat and traitorous blush each time she saw Pandora Rosier. For the fantasies that plagued her waking mind and dreams — one more scandalous than the other. If there was, Nacissa didn’t wish to hear it.

Okay so Narcissa sucks to live with when it comes to chores. This girl is raised with house elves and doesn't take well to dishes that don't clean themselves without you charming them to do so. Chores are not her thing and she refuses to change that. Her perfect idea of domestic bliss is going shopping for furniture and decorations together, and sitting in the garden with a cocktail watching Pandora garden while Cissa does absolutely nothing. Pandora likes this, too, because she tends to plant rather dangerous plants in her garden without telling Cissa about all her plans and this works out for everyone involved.

Narcissa always picked the best targets.
