Classic fluffy pancakes enjoyed across the United States.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tbsp sugar. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp salt. 1 1/2 cups buttermilk. 1 egg. 2 tbsp melted butter.
Instructions: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients to make a thick batter. Heat a griddle and pour batter to form pancakes. Cook until bubbles appear, flip, and cook until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup and butter.
