well, its fairly simple. Mae is my name, and nei means "no" in norwegian, so I just put the two together to tell myself no lol. i was close to choosing Maeja instead, but liked how Maenei sounded more. I think I did originally use maenei in like around 2018? but I then swapped back to my old username that I had before maenei, before then swapping back to maenei in 2019-2020 (?), but the username was taken then (by i guess you lol) and on twitter it was taken by a random japanese person so I started using "Maeneii" reason why I'm "maeneiii" on tumblr was cuz I deleted my original tumblr with 2 i's and then it wouldnt let me reuse it when I rejoined tumblr nice to finally meet you other maenei lol
