irken PAK legs headcanon

so i was observing the show, when i realized that zim only uses his spider legs when he is in danger or he needs the tools. there are multiple times in the show when he could have used them, but he didn't. i think useing the spider legs is a sign of weakness; vunerability. like its frowned upon by all irken society, to where its rare use them unless you're injured severely. like in "plauge of babies" he uses his PAK legs as a defense. or in "walk of doom" he uses it to escape up in a building. idk just a point to think about or maybe zim is just dumb.
