Like I signed up to have someone else create something off my idea, but now I'm feeling very awkward bringing it up like "by the way, what did you want to do?" I know you guys are doing your absolute best and this turned into a huge event, I'm just sitting here with my stomach in my throat having an anxiety attack because how do social.

We’re sorry this is causing you so much distress!
Probably 90% of people were paired following how they wanted to work, so if you said you wanted to use your idea, the other person probably signed up to work off their partner’s idea! But if you’re still nervous about it, email us and we’ll double check your partner’s submission and see what they said.
Unfortunately due to the nature of the event, one of you will have to reach out to the other and make contact soon in order to start. But if you two get stuck or have difficulty collaborating, you can contact a mod via email or in the Discord server and we can troubleshoot (kind of like professors during a group project!).
If it makes you feel better, everyone I’ve talked to is super friendly and open, but a little nervous (even me!) so you’re in good company.
