{ Mirai } Confusion
To put it simple she was attached to the digimon. To find the digimon alone, dirty, lacking one of his many colorful ribbons and with no sight of Usagi, was completely strange and out of the ordinary. Sato and Trigger tried to communicate with the digimon but Terrie was so deflated and unlike his usual self he was utterly unwilling to talk.Â
Sato flipped out and rushed the digimon to Usagi’s house, his mind reeling and worrying over tons of different scenarios of what could of happened to lead to this. He rang the door bell several times before a familiar muffled voice reached his ears through the door.
“Alright, alright. I’m coming, calm down!” The door opened and there was Usagi, cheerful and smiling as usual. “Oh! Sato! I didn’t know you were coming.” Usagi noted the Terriermon in her friend’s grasp. Her eyes sparkled as she lifted the digimon up with a huge smile.
“Geez,” Sato sighed, scratching at his head. “You had me so worri-”
“What a cute Terriermon! I didn’t know you had one Sato! Is he new? He’s so dirty! You cant manage two digimon, can you?” As Usagi let out an airy giggle horror crossed Sato’s face.
W…what did she say?
She thought Terrie… was his Digimon?! But why? How could she? She could always tell her Terriermon apart from the other Terriermon! She’s know Terrie for years! This… this just didn’t make sense!
He snapped back to reality as Usagi placed the Terriermon back into his arms. The girl reached into her back pocket and pulled out a ribbon. In the most casual of ways she tired the ribbon around Terrie’s neck. The digimon looked so sad among all of this.
“There! Now he looks even cuter!” Usagi found herself blinking as Sato pressed his palm to her forehead. She… didn’t have a fever. Then what the hell was wrong with her!? “Sato, what are you doing?” she questioned with a pout.
“Usagi, this is your digimon, not mine. You know, Terrie, your partner! You’ve known him for years!” Usagi looked at her friend oddly.
“Terrie? Terrie isn’t my partner, Coco is.” As she spoke, a Lopmon appeared on her shoulder, loosely wrapping one of it’s long ears around her neck. Sato stumbled back a step in surprise and glanced down to Terrie as he curled into his chest. This Lopmon was… new to him. He had never seen it before but it has the signs of Usagi’s care. It was even wearing one of her many ribbons! But… why was Usagi claiming that was her partner and not Terrie?
Sato glanced away from the Lopmon feeling uneasy. Those eyes… so much like Terrie’s but, just so wrong.
“…Sato?” Usagi called to her friend. He looked so troubled. What was wrong? Maybe he was feeling ill… he did confuse her partner for a Terriermon after all… She reached out to him and as soon as her hand made contact with his shoulder, he flinched and knocked her hand away. She winced.
“…S-sorry… I have to go Usagi…” Sato quickly turned on heels and ran, leaving Usagi confused. She sighed, closed the door behind her and returned to the couch. Sato was definitely being weird today… she just hoped he felt well tomorrow.

“Sato… why did Usagi have a Lopmon? It’s almost impossible for a tamer to get a second digimon isn’t it?” Trigger questioned.
“I don’t know but something is very wrong here…..” Sato wheezed, stumbling through the front door of his humble abode. Thankfully no one was around so no one heard him when he just fell over. No one could blame him, it was some distance and speed but it made no sense. He was in basketball club and was a very good and avid member, so this run shouldn’t of tired him out as bad as it did.
“It was that Lopmon’s eyes.” Terrie spoke up. “It’s a very mean digimon…!” Sato looked down at Terrie sympathetically. The poor little guy had seen better days, it must hurt to be replaced and forgotten. Sato and Trigger got to work bathing the dirty Digimon and making a nice dinner for Terrie. The poor Terriermon was so overcome with happiness that he burst into tears while eating. That lead to him choking and Sato quickly delivered the Heimlich maneuver.
After everything calmed down Sato decided to inquire the origins of the Lopmon.
“A digiegg.”
“A… digiegg?”
“Yep. Usagi and I found it one day. It was surprising that no one else found it… it was kinda obvious. We decided to take it home and we hid it from her family. It soon hatched into a Conomon, she seemed cute and innocent at first but…”
“But…?”
“She was mean! Evil!! She bit me!”
“Well… it was a baby di-”
“That’s what Usagi said!” Terrie barked. “But even as it evolved into a Lopmon she still attacked me, even when Usagi said it was a no-no!!"Terrie pouted. "It just… it just wasn’t right! And then she attacked me! Going all out and even threw me out the second floor window!” The Terriermon sunk into his seat. “It was too powerful… and without Usagi, I couldn’t digivolve so I hid while I recovered. When I came back home no one recognized me…” Terrie burst into tears.  Sato sighed, lifting the rookie into his arms.Â
So, something really was up…
It seemed pretty clear, he had to take care of that Lopmon.
The only question was how.
{ Mirai } Two Roads
Life’s roads split at any opportunities.
Don’t you want it? What you desire? Then do it, take as you want.
She shook her head.
“Usagi,” the girl blinked and look to the boy laying down on the floor beside her. “Are you okay?” the girl giggled and smiled.
“I’m fine Sato, I was just thinking….” He sighed and pat her head as if she was a child.
“Don’t over think it Usagi.”
“Boo….Sato, you’re so mean.”
“You’re crazy, I’m the best.” He grinned, pinching her cheek. She playfully smacked his hand with a laugh. Usagi was glad for a friend like Sato… maybe if she was a fool and took the wrong road he could walk her back to the one of right.
