Heyyy I wanted to ask about your character Pierrot from that dyo fic(really love it btwđ¤makes me so happy when a now chapter drops), I know heâs a made up character for the fic but I really liked him and want to know if you have any thoughts for his character?(you can ignore this ask if thereâs nothing to say about his character), Why was he chosen over harlequin when that one is probably the âfun clownâ? (I keep talking with a friend about your fic and characters, we think harlequin did something that pissed off Pagliacci so much that he chose Pierrot over him lol)
Yes I will answer about him! Let's see what I can say about him...
He's actually my favorite out of the clowns. I know in some scp related articles the name is used as a pseudonym for Bobble. But I'm already twisting characters for my own pleasure
I got the idea from reading the original play to make them into three different men.
Canio is the name of the protagonist of the play,
Paggliaci is the person he plays
Pierrot is the stock character that is an idea older than the play itself.
Pierrot is definitely more morose than Canio and Paggliaci only in a self-contained way. A good deal more stable. So I saw that since he's morose and 035 is the Lord of anguish then it would be fitting to have him join
All three clowns are obsessed with Columbina but Pierrot managed to have an attempt of a relationship with Pierrette. (Failed, sadly) Despite their clownhood all three of the men are stuck in the conjunction of sadness/manic glee.
Given Pierrot's level headedness, Pagliacci chose him based on this quality. That and that he's a higher class clown in the society of clown town.
Pierrot is the tallest of the three followed by Paggliaci and lastly canio.
He'll be present for the remainder of the fic. And play a part in the readers plot.
(I'm glad you guys enjoy my fic. It makes me squeal)
