Aaron sat still in the cockpit of the strangely shaped shark like airplane, which he still couldn't believe was flying let alone real in the first place. He sat there wondering where he was. He looked over the side carefully, still afraid that the ship might still fall apart or disappear. 

"WOHA!" That was all Aaron could say for what he saw made me speechless. Down below was a whole forest that was covered in purple leaves but what made it even more amazing was the fact that the trees where moving and swaying as though they were alive. Aaron could even make out animals moving and.. dancing..yes they were dancing..in the very trees themselves. 

"Pretty amazing huh?" Aaron looked up and over at the pilot, he had remember he had called himself Jack but besides the fact he had Just said Aaron from that monstrous bird he didn't know who he was or how he made the airplane change like it did. 

"Uhhhh yeah..uhmmmm do you mind if I ask..."

"What this place is and how you found yourself in it?" Jack shouted over and turn to face Aaron. Aaron noted he was slightly older, He had black hair with silver streaks in it. He was dressed in a old brown leather coat and was wearing a plain green shirt underneath. 

"Uhh yeah..what is this place and what was that thing that attacked us." Aaron calming said even though his mind was going crazy from what had happened. 

"Well first off your in The Dream, and before you ask, yes it is real but its made up of dreams." 

"What...made up of dreams? What do you mean...how can this be a dream?" Aaron said as the plan passed through some fluffy blue clouds that felt a like like silk. 

Jack chuckled a bit before answering. "This is a world made up of millions of dreams, every dream you ever had is brought here and added to the world. Same goes for everyone in the world. We call it the Dream and were here to protect it from Nightmares."

"Nightmares...you mean like that thing that attacked us?" Aaron thought back to that horrible bird that tried to peck him to death.

"Bingo, you see Nightmares are apart of dreams so when someone has a nightmare he comes into the Dream and causes havoc and chaos. Its our job to find them and destroy them before they get too powerful." Jack moved the ship a bit lower over some golden sands that look like a part of a much larger desert. "You see Nightmares start off as weak creatures, but the more the eat and destroy the stronger they get. The one we just tango with was a class 2 nightmare, powerful but very dumb."

Aaron thought back to the air fight, and admitted that the monster had been beaten with not so much difficulty. "So how did I get here...and why am I here?"

"Oh well you were chosen just like everyone else,  you see The Dream is alive in a way, it watches your dreams and if you show signs of being able to control your dream or being able to defeat your own nightmares then it brings you in. Your still dreaming but instead your mind and spirit are brought here, you'll remember everything and for now on every time you sleep you'll wind up here."

Aaron just looked around as he took all this new information in. He never thought in  his wildest dreams that he would be chosen for something like this. He felt a bit sick and just didn't know what to think let alone do. He suddenly thought back to the nightmare bird and shudder. He was expected to fight something like that....how was he expected to fight nightmares, he could stand up the the school bully let alone a 15 foot black slime monster.
