A Walking Tour of Oxford, 1826

This map accompanies the previously posted transcripts of Anne Lister’s journal pages documenting her and Mariana Lawton’s time in Oxford in 1826. It includes a tour of the city with Dr John Macbride (brother-in-law to Francis Pickford) and Anne’s comments on some of the most famous Oxford sites.
