[Video] Blind Pilot im verspielten Video zu “Packed Powder”
Im August erschien “And Then Like Lions”, das dritte Album von Blind Pilot, der Band aus Portland, die hierzulande schon als Support von Calexico neue Fans einsammelte. Nun gibt es ein Video zu “Packed Powder”, welches innerhalb von drei Tagen in Astoria, Oregon unter Regie von Christopher Good (Perfume Genius, Kevin Morby, Margaret Glaspy) gedreht wurde. Im Lied singt Sänger Israel Nebeker über die unterschiedlichsten Jobs, die er schon angenommen hatte und sich jedes Mal als Enttäuschung erwiesen. Genau diese Rastlosigkeit ist auch in diesem farbenfrohen Video zu sehen. “Most of my songs are more open glimpses of personal expression”, erläutert Nebeker. “This one is pretty playful in the lyrics and structure, so we decided to go with that mood.” Ein sehenswertes Video wie Nebeker findet: “It’s colorful and playful, and still has some moments that are inspiring.” Dem ist nicht mehr hinzuzufügen als: Viel Spaß beim Anschauen!
