Shut Up and Dance Off

During the P4A my mom bought one of the signed fake Hank potatoes for us to share… and then as one of my presents under the Christmas tree, she forged Hank’s signature on a real potato and wrapped it, as a stand-in for the real (fake?) potato.

I left this fake (real?) Hank potato in California, but when my parents were shipping me some other stuff after Christmas, they put it in a ziploc and plopped it in the box and shipped it across the country.

So for a few weeks, this real potato with a fake (but quite good) @edwardspoonhands signature on it has just been quietly sitting underneath the monitor riser on my desk, growing.

He just called me for a @projectforawesome perk and he was so nice! He asked about my actuarial exam and listened when I talked about the awesome people that helped me through finding out that I failed it yesterday. And he said actuaries had a lot of social utility, which is cool because recently I’ve been grappling with it not having a lot of social utility so that made me feel a lot better.

And then we talked about Brotherhood 2.0 and the Project for Awesome and how he lived around where I live in Lakeview for a while and his kids said hi (they are so cute!) and he was just really nice the entire time and it was a really pleasant conversation.
