Nothing could describe the closeness Jinyoung shared with his Haunter, adoringly named after his favorite comic book character, Grayson. They had been friends, since his early childhood, when the Pokemon was still a Gastly. It was safe to say that the gym leader spoiled the ghost, finding him to be completely adorable, despite its, what other people would refer to as a, frightening nature. So, it was rather typical of the two to go out for walks at the nearby Dosan Park, while the rest of his party remained behind.
The apparition was a mischievous sort, looking to play tricks on anyone he could find, yet his owner trusted him enough to allow him out of his Poke Ball, during their weekly visits. But during a singular traipse, Grayson spotted another Pokemon out with its owner. Though the reason was unsure, it might have been drawn to its nervous disposition, and immediately, the ghost made chase for the small orange bird. As soon as it caught vision of Jinyoung's Pokemon, it gave a screech and ran off in the opposite direction.
Finding himself stunned, Jinyoung merely stood and stared blankly for a few moments, before snapping out of his daze and running over to the also surprised owner. "I'm sorry!" he blurted out immediately, bowing low, in hopes the other would not be too angry with him. "He's usually not like this, I swear--" This was a lie, but that didn't matter at the moment. And without another word, the male ran after the two now fading blurs, calling out to his Haunter, who blatantly ignored his orders.
