Honestly though, after reading up a bit on oxycodone (more specifically ratio oxycocet), I think it's rather careless to prescribe it to people for a wisdom tooth removal. Yes, it hurts quite a lot when the local anesthesia wears off and the days after, but shit, that can be helped with extra strength ibuprofen. They also just prescribed me 600mg Ibuprofen for my root canal and it was alright. No wonder addiction to opioids in the US has spread like wildfire. That shit can literally kill you. If you take too much it at once or in any other form than swallowing the tablet, that shit will hit you right away and may fatally impact your respiratory system. Not to mention it's very habit forming and so easily abused. I'll take my remaining tablets back to the pharmacy so they can dispose of them... considering all of my brothers were of drug addicts, I don't want to keep it in my home.Β
