How about number 6 with Caesar, Marc Antony and Octavian?
Oh boy I liked this one!
Seduce: Antony. I don’t know exactly how it would go down, but if there’s anyone in Roman history that I would enjoy trying to seduce, it would definitely be good ole Marcus Antonius.
Steal from: Octavian. This is mainly only because I refuse to either seduce or serenade Octavian.
Serenade: Caesar: Yes, I would attempt to serenade Caesar with all the glorious awkwardness that is myself. I would probably start giggling since I am a nervous laugher, but I like to imagine Caesar would appreciate my efforts and be a good sport about the whole ordeal (this is going off of our conversation from earlier @hiddenlookingglass).
Thanks @owlask!!
owlask replied to your photoset: 1. Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus 2. Lucius Domitius...
Ok. One question: Where did you find the first pic cause it looks like a Severian bust (late 2 Cen A.D.)., due to the toga. Also I would suggest using a non reconstructed Nero portrait. Most of his face in this portrait is modern.
Um... Yeah. I wasn't sure if Agrippina's Wiki was the proper place, but they look somewhat alike. And do you have a Nero statue that isn't modern I could look at? Because some days, I truly worry. XD
Commissioned by the amazing Owl Ask, who has always been a wonderful supporter of me and my art (seriously bro, I love you so much <3)
These are Lutz and Mathias, from her new webcomic Mistika Comics, which you should start reading right now! She also does Nero in da Domus (about the marvelous misadventures of Roman emperor Nero), so if you're a history nerd, you should read that too.
If you'd like to commission me, check out my prices here!
Herzlichen Glückwünsch zum Geburtstag @owlask! Here’s a small sketch of your girl :)

For the history meme (apologise if they have been already asked): 14, 17, 21
14. Why are you are interested in history?Lots of reasons - first of all I’m a very introverted person and I don’t have many friends. Reading about people from history and getting invested in their lives is almost like having friends lol. Second, I like the personal and political drama of it all, which is why the Late Republic is so fascinating to me and I kind of love how much or how little the same arguments we have change… also I love reading about people who fail, people who make mistakes in their time, and then succeed, or are remembered the better for it in our time. Take Curio for example - in his life he was probably living under the shadow of his super famous father but when I say “Gaius Curio” everyone thinks of Antony’s boyfriend Curio, the Curio who was active in the 60s/50s, not his father. Or Clodius, who is perhaps the most famous Claudius Pulcher despite failing to live up to the ~standards of his name. Or, even more interesting, Clodia Metelli who was immortalized by Catullus’s poetry and whose name has more weight and familiarity 2000 years later than any of her male relatives. Or, perhaps my favorite example, Cicero, who’s the voice of his time, whose writings define the world in which he lived for us, whose accomplishments in philosophy and politics and literature outstrip vastly and thus render him now SO much more famous than any of the conservative senatorial factionalist optimates who wouldn’t give him the time of day because he had the wrong name. God I love it so much. 17. What historical item would you like to own?Something with Clodius’s name on it- maybe a coin from his tribuneship? But even then I’d rather give that item to a museum so everyone can see it - maybe a replica of something in that vein.21. What is your favourite history-based game? The only history-based video game I’ve ever played is roughly 3 hours of the first Assassins’s Creed so that’s the answer you’re getting lmfao sorry
