Whoever changed the overwatch homepage know you have saddened me. I've played this game for going on EIGHT YEARS-
This does not spark joy. The other one made everything way more visible, inviting, easy to find. This feels like everything important got squashed into a corner to further shove ads and "buy this cosmetic" in my face.

Please, god, someone convince me not to spend more money on this game than I already do—
Overwatch 1 veteran player here and yeah no I haven’t played since the disaster that was season 1 dropped where they axxed any progression for people who didn’t wanna pay money. It got old very quickly with fewer things to do & obtain. Less competitive rewards didn’t help either. Everything free was being taken away and now watered down story mode won’t be free anymore either. That & locking meta characters behind a paywall, they just keep shooting themselves in the foot and do not care about new or veteran players. They snake oiled their players into investing in a subscription over false promises & are now just trying to milk it until they have to shut down the servers. I’m so glad I stopped playing. I’ll cherish the Overwatch 1 memories & all of the friends I made playing it, but R.I.P. to something that could have been outstanding.
At least we still have the smut (for now, until it ain’t as popular to make content out of due to Blizzard fumbling the game so badly).
Lunar update? More like Valentine’s update, amiright?
