A Hero lost in Evil Academy?!
*I...really should bring a map next time. And a compass. The amount of times I ended up lost is getting ridiculous.*Yugo scolded himself in his thoughts as he looked around. He had wandered in to Evil Academy by mistake while looking for a friend,who just happened to be a demon. He had regretted stepping inside though, as he had to sneak past alot of unfriendly looking demons. If it weren't for his portals,he'd be roasted and served with sauce by now! He wanted to exit this dangerous school,as it's pretty obvious that it's definitely not a place for young heroes such as himself,but whoever built this school built it like a maze! Considering his options,which was either find a 'cooperative demon', or just breaking a window and making a run for it,he decided to find the Dean before resorting to vandalism. He had found the door leading to the Dean's office and politely knocked."Hello? Anyone in there?"

Lyrical tag-team artist the OVERLORDZ have come out with a new self titled album. Members Word Chemist, Shinobi Stalin, and Unique Assassin are all masters of their craft when it comes to the art of emceeing, and do so effortlessly with the help of DJ Stranger. The Overlordz represent the golden era of hip-hop surviving and thriving in the digital age of dance-hop and weirdo rap. The beats are boom bap heavy and filled with samples in reference to movies and video games, all of which are produced and overseen by the Overlordz. One can appreciate the creativity and originality heard when listening to an Overlordz album. These dudes have all grown up with hip-hop since the early 90's and know the importance of coming off dope. Not tough, not as swag, not turnt or even fleek. These are not millenial rappers and the current trends for rap artist today dont phase or have any influence on the way the Overlordz carry and represent themselves. Their newest album 'Overlordz' carries the torch of what the greats have done before them. Last Friday, I got to watch them perform their newest project in front of a packed crowd at Will's Pub. The energy was live and the crowd seemed magnitized, stunned with amazement. Much respect to the crew for a great show and big ups on the new album. Started off with some Abbot & Brown. Ozone's own Shinobi Stalin, Unique Assassin, WordChemist & DJ Stranger combine forces to form The Overlordz. Their first salvo is a Tone Blare produced track titled "Conquest". With a quick DJ Stranger intro, The 3 emcees exchange verses with a chemistry reminiscent of the great hip hip groups that have long been considered obsolete . The Overlordz are planning to release their self titled debut project very soon. Guests include fellow Vets Of Kin members MyGrane McNastee and JBiz.
