Google Drive File manager Sync with Linux
You can either browse your google drive as a drive by going to Settings > Online Accounts and adding a google account with files permission. Or you can Download OverGrive, the "G" letter not D. This gives a trial to use the software, or pay $9.99 one-time license fee which is very fair. This syncs folder by folder, so you can set what folder to sync or auto backup. So I sync from the root of my Home folder, keeping my entire linux account sync.

If you dont want to pay OR dont care bout Google Drive particularly, and just want any cloud storage with folder by folder sync then Mega.nz is another good method.
