Hey everybody, I've been trying to get back into the habit of drawing more and doing more art stuff seeing as summer is right around the corner and I'll have more free time. The stuff I've been doing so far is dragons based off of birds, and I'd like to do more; I have a few drawn already and a few more I still want to do, but I'm always open to suggestions for bird-inspired dragons.

Pro tip: When you apologize to someone, don’t include the word “but” in that apology. You’re expressing regret and remorse for actions, not trying to justify what you did. Instead of trying to defend what you did or said, actually feel sorry for it.
One year later...
One year ago today, my sister, dandelion-fireworks​, and I sat down in our living room and started this blog for me. Today, I have 55 followers, plenty of which are people I know in my life, or inactive accounts that never have any activity, but all of which still matter to me. I guess this is just a little thank you to all the people who follow me, the friends who have been following my account from the beginning and the new friends and relationships I’ve made since starting.
My life is very different from then. I throw many hours per day into scrolling pointlessly; I use Tumblr to communicate a great deal with my datemate; I have a special little look into the lives of the people I care about; I’m more aware of social issues and happenings than I ever was before; I now have a daily source for information, humor, and entertainment, and I have a platform through which I can share these things. Overall, I feel closer to the world and the people in my life.
Thank you again to everybody who might read this. I couldn’t be sharing the content I do now without many of you.
When taking an online quiz for my class, I find myself overthinking the circumstances of the answer choices, how both might work out in a very real situation. Eventually I look at the clock, realize I've been thinking about one problem for five minutes and tell myself to just pick one, dammit, it's 2:30, what the hell are you even doing awake right now.
