ah yes!! one of my first (and still big) MCU ships. I feel like I fall on the same page as you where like. I don’t care how their relationship looks as long as there’s a relationship core there where they care about each other so much, are deeply loyal to each other, have this intense relationship that could be romantic but doesn’t need to be. 

I love it in comics where it’s old and long running and goes in and out but is always there on some level, and I love it in the MCU where we don’t get to see enough of it but there are these moments where you can see how much they love and trust each other, how well they know each other.

I love “my beautiful bay windows!” and I love the fact that MCU!Clint calls Natasha “Nat” and is the one to sit and wait for her to call in when she’s captured by Ultron, because he knows she will. I love Clint being swept off his feet by Natasha when she’s still a villain and I love the fact that Clint’s daughter calls her “auntie Nat” and she’s the only one other than Fury who knows about Clint’s family. 

I love them, and the way Clint is, despite everything, still very much determined to be a hero, and the way Natasha still straddles that line sometimes and struggles to believe in her own heroism, because she’ll never quite call herself a superhero.

My favourite OC is honestly Nagisa Takahashi. He’s… really not likeable, to start with in his story. He’s filthy, disgustingly rich, and the embodiment of outward perfection – the top of his class, the class rep, part of the student council, and poised to inherit a big .. i don’t know what the english equivalent is, but he’s a chaebol. I can’t think of the Japanese word for it. Kirietsu I wan’t to say?

But he’s two-faced. He cannot stand most of the people he’s expected to network with, and barely likes his parents. He has one friend – Yumi – who he’s grown up with, but beyond that his only other friend is his nanny. He’s antisocial, snarky, and super bossy, and basically just wants some alone time so he can do things he likes without being judged and held up as a standard – eat candy, watch trashy anime, and wear casual clothes that his parents would be mortified to see him in.

And he doesn’t know shit. That one gif – how much is a banana? like $10? – is basically his understanding of the world outside his and when he winds up stuck with the scholarship student as his dorm mate at his super prestigious high school, he has 0 idea how to cope so he’s basically a walking douchebag, which is compounded by his First Crush On A Boy (which, ever so tragically, he thinks is annoyance).
