*The next morning, 1st p.o.v, Jotaro*

I groaned as I woke up from my sleep and I felt the whole house shaking because of my alarm clock that was violently shaking on the floor. I reached down and grabbed the alarm clock and threw it against the floor. 

“Good grief…” I muttered under my breath as I ran a hand through my hair and got up. I bent down and picked up the alarm clock, which was strangely still intact after many mornings like this, and looked at the hour. It was currently 5:30 a.m. 

I opened my doors and walked over to the small kitchen and opened a small cabinet above the stove and pulled out the plastic pill organizer and had a few pills for every day.

Behind it were the many pill bottles I had to organize myself for every week every Sunday. 

And it wasn’t for me, it was for my mom…

She has been diagnosed with a chronic illness five years ago and unfortunately, we couldn’t afford her staying at the hospital.

So she has to drink these pills everyday. Most of the day she stays in bed and sleeps, and I have to cook us breakfast, lunch and dinner.

That’s why I skip some classes in school so I can go check on her. I do spend most of my time in the car shop and sometimes Frankie’s with my friends but most of the time I spend at home with my mom. 

Dad was overseas in Tokyo, Japan, preforning in jazz clubs playing his saxophone. Every month he sends over some money he earned, but it wasn’t much.

He had to take some himself since living in Tokyo was expensive. 

And my old man lived in New York, he also sent us some money but most of the time he spent going around the world.

He visited from time to time, and the most we’ve seen of him was a long letter with his picture in it. 

I walked over to mom’s room and slightly opened her doors. “Hey… I brought you the medicine.” I said and my mom looked at the doorway where I was standing.

“Oh.. Thank you Jotaro dear… Do you mind opening the blinds for me?” mom asked and I nodded my head as I opened the blinds, letting the early morning rays flow in her room. 

I opened the square shaped container on the pill organizer marked as ‘Wednesday’ and gave her the glass of water that was on her nightstand.

I took out the four colored pills and gave it in her hand as she slowly sat up. 

“Thank you, Jotaro…” she whispered fraily as she took a sip of water and swallowed one pill at a time.

“I’ll make you something to eat and I’ll get going to school.” I said as I looked at her for the last time and walked out her room and put back the pill organizer in the cabinet. 

I opened the fridge and pulled out two eggs and grabbed a pen from the bottom cabinet. I turned on the stove and put some oil in it.

After I cooked mom's food I put it all on a plate and on a wooden tray and brought it up to her room and gave it to her. 

“Now hurry up, sweetie… You’re going to be late for school.” mom said as she laughed and picked up her fork.

I nodded my head and went to my room and quickly got dressed in black jeans, white shirt and my worn out leather jacket. 

I went to my bathroom and opened a small white cabinet next to the mirror and pulled out a round metal container with hair grease and put some in my hair as I slightly slicked it back, but a few strands fell over my forehead. 

After I finished getting ready I went to grab my school bag and put on my shoes and walked out of my house after saying goodbye to mom.

And just as I closed my front doors I was greeted by hollors and laughter from my friends. 

I rolled my eyes and we started to walk down the street, “Good grief, do you have to be so loud this early?” I asked and everyone just laughed even more. Kakyoin, who was next to me, tapped my shoulder and I glanced at him with a raised eyebrow. 

“Did that girl pay you those five grand? We didn’t have a chance to ask you since you went straight home after school…” he asked and I shook my head, “She didn’t… I gave her time to pay me until the end of the month.” I said and Kakyoin’s eyes widened. 

“ You ? Wow Jotaro, didn’t know you did that kind of thing.” Kakyoin said and I looked at him with a confused expression.

“What do you mean by that?” I asked and he laughed, “Ah, you’re so oblivious aren’t you? You obviously want to get to know her or something… You don’t usually extend the time for somebody who owes you money.” Kakyoin said and the others quieted down and looked at each other with smirks. 

I sighed and rolled my eyes, “Good grief, really?” I asked him and everyone started laughing. “I don’t know Jotaro, you tell me. I wasn’t the one who was secretly looking at her on the whole lunch break.” Kakyoin chuckled smugly and my vision turned red.

He… he was telling the truth. I was looking at her, but only to see what she was up to. I wanted to know if that bastard Tommy would approach her or talk to her.

He interrupted our conversation yesterday and tried to ‘scare me off’. Which led me to suspect that she must be his new friend or something. 

But she seemed standoffish when she was talking to him and that confused me…

“Why don’t we call her over during the lunch break? She seemed fine when we met her… And I don’t think that Jotaro would mind that.” Michael joked and I glared at him as I pulled out a cigarette from the pocket of my jacket and pushed it towards him. 

“Right-” Michael said as he pulled out a lighter and lit up my cigarette. “Do what you want. I don’t really care.” I said and shrugged my shoulders.

I could see Kakyoin whispering something to Dean and both of them sniggering.

Good grief… I should’ve walked to school alone… 

*Time skip to the lunch break*

We all sat at our usual spot under the tree and ate our food. I was eating my lunch in silence when all of a sudden Dean snapped his fingers, making all of us look at him.

“Did you guys hear about the new waitress at Frankie’s? Danny was there yesterday with his friends and told me we should check it out ourselves.” Dean said and all of us looked at each other. 

“A new waitress? At Frankie’s? Sounds like a prank if anything. But if that’s the truth, they must’ve kidnapped her or something.” Michael laughed and Kakyoin slapped his shoulder.

“Don’t be rude, Michael.” Kakyoin scolded him and I nodded my head. 

“Yeah, who knows… Danny doesn’t seem to be the one to lie.” I said and Michale rolled his eyes, “You know why I don’t trust that blond haired rat! Not only does he steal my food while I’m working but he totally embarrassed me in front of that chick a few days ago! Dean, I'm telling you to put your younger brother on a dog leash and tie him to a tree in the backyard.” he complained as he ran a hand through his shaggy brown hair. 

I rolled my eyes, already tired of Michael’s complaining. I ignored the rest of their conversation as I looked into the distance and saw Tommy with his friends as they were talking about something. 

Tommy smirked as he pointed to a table with three girls which was far from his and his other friends ‘ooed’ and patted his back. I looked back at the table and noticed Y/n… or as I called her, the chicken girl. 

Good grief, that idiot really thinks he is the shit, doesn’t he? 

It seemed that I zoned out because distant exclamations of Kakyoin brought me back and I shook my head.

“Gosh, you’re looking at her again Jotaro…” Kakyoin said and nudged Michael, “Seems like you have competition, Mickey…” Kakyoin joked and we both glared at him. 

Kakyoin laughed cheerily and patted our backs, “Oh come, you can’t take light teasing? What has gotten into you?” he asked us and I didn’t even bother replying.

“So, what’s our final plan for the evening?” asked Dean, changing the theme. 

“We have no cars to repair so we can go to Frankie’s earlier.” said Kakyoin and we all nodded in agreement.

The bell rang and we all got up, picked up our trash and started to walk towards the entrance of school. 

*time skip after school*

*1st p.o.v, Y/n*

I tightly grabbed my bag from the floor as the bell signaled the end of the school. I waited for a bit for everyone to get out of class as only Sheri, Lisa and I stayed inside. 

“...Frankie’s, you say? I’ve never heard of that diner before.” Lisa said and Sheri nodded in agreement as we walked out of the class and started to walk down the hallway towards the girls bathroom. 

“Yeah, it’s further on the East side…” I said as we entered the bathroom and walked into an empty stall, opened my school bag and pulled out the red waitress uniform.

I started to undress myself and put on the uniform and stuffed my clothes into the bag. I was wearing flats today so they would fit with the uniform. 

I tied the whie apron around my waist and smoothed out the whole uniform.

It was comfortable, more than I expected it to be honestly. I walked out and Sher and Lisa turned their heads towards me and smiled. 

“You look so professional!” Lisa complimented me and I laughed in slight embarrassment, “Thank you, really… It does help me ease the anxiety for my first shift.” I said as I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed nervously. 

“Don’t worry, Y/n, you’ll do fine! I think the school’s empty now so we can go out.” Sheri motioned to the bathroom doors and opened them and we walked out.

“Well then, girls…See you tomorrow, hopefully.” I joked as we walked over to my car and I unlocked it. 

“See you, Y/n!” both of them exclaimed as they headed their own way home and I sat myself inside my car.

I put my school bag on the passenger’s seat and pulled out of the school's parking lot and started to drive in the direction of the diner. 

After twenty minutes of driving I arrived at the diner and it was as crowded as yesterday.

I smiled as I entered the diner and I immediately noticed Susan behind the counter cleaning the glasses.

“Hello!” I greeted Susan and she grinned at me, “Well, hi to you to Y/n. As you noticed we’re not quite busy so we have time to talk.” Susan said and I nodded my head. 

“You will be serving the 3rd and 4th booth for now. They’re in the same line next to the window.” Susan said and I looked at the now empty booths and nodded my head.

“Of course, anything else?” I asked and she nodded, “Yeah, that’ll be your main duty. But you will also be helping out to take the trash and clean the tables.” she said and I nodded my head. 

“Alright, seems fine to me.” I said and Susa handed me a small notepad and a notebook, “Just write the orders here and give them to me here at the counter.” she explained while she finished cleaning up the glasses. 

I hummed and sat at one of the bar stools, “Well, you won’t mind me sitting here while I wait?” I asked Susan and she laughed, “Of course not, dearie! I’ll notify you when one of your booths gets occupied. Until then you can start memorizing the menu.” she said as she handed me the menu and I thanked her with a grateful smile. 

We stayed silent as I read the menu and I kept glancing at the still empty booths and fiddled with my pen.

After some time, Susan snapped her fingers in front of my face and I looked up to her. “Y-Yes?” I asked as I caught the menu and pen before they fell on the floor. 

“You’ve got guests on the 4th booth, good luck!” Susan said and I gulped as I hopped off the bar stool and grabbed my pen and notepad.  I didn’t even register who sat at the booth and as I rushed to it. 

“Hello! I’m Y/n and I’ll be your server-” I said as I looked up and my blood froze , “-for today…” I muttered out as I gulped. 

I was met with a sight of one and only…

Jotaro Kujo and his friends

My eyes widened as my throat went dry. I should've seen this coming!’ I thought in panic as I immediately fixed my posture and opened my notepad, “S-So… What will you guys have for today?” I said as calmly as possible and all of them just continued to stare at me. 

The redhead, Kakyoin, nudged Jotaro who cleared his throat, “We’ll have four sodas and four burgers.” he said and I wrote everything down and nodded my head, “Alright! I’ll bring you the drinks now.” I quickly said and bolted back to the counter and Susan gave me a weird look. 

“You know them?” Susan asked, a bit surprised. “You could say I do… We met a few days ago. Anyway, this is their order.” I said as I gently tore off the paper page and slided it to her. 

Susan laughed as she didn’t even look at the paper, “Don’t worry, Y/n… We all here have their orders mesmerized. They’ve been coming here since they were little kids. And they always order the same.” she said and I nodded my head. 

She turned around and opened the fridge and grabbed four sodas and placed them on a tray, “Here you go, and tell them their food will be there in 15 minutes.” she said and I picked up the round silver tray and started walking carefully towards their booth. 

As I walked towards them, I could hear their conversation. 

“What!? Y/n is the new waitress!? Maybe that’s why Danny didn’t tell us and told us we should go and check it out for ourselves.” Dean whisper-shouted as he ran a hand through his short dirty blonde hair. 

Dean and Michael were sitting so their backs were facing me, and Jotaro and Kakyoin were sitting opposite of them. Good God, what would they think of me now?

I stopped in front of their booth and quietly placed the sodas on their table, “Your food will be done in 15 minutes.” I said and they all nodded.

I started to walk back to the counter where Susan was but I glanced back at Jotaro and smiled a little.

His face stayed neutral as he slightly nodded his head and focused on his friends. 

I came back to Susan and she raised an eyebrow at me as she smirked. “What?” I asked in confusion as I placed the silver tray on the counter.

“I saw you smiling at that Kujo boy… Don’t tell me you got this job just to stare at him!” Susan said as she began to laugh and my face burnt in embarrassment.

“No! I didn't, I swear! It’s a bit complicated-” I tried to explain but she stopped me while waving her hand.

“Yeah- Yeah, I know- Liking him is surely complicated.” Susan continued to laugh and I didn't know what to say anymore. 

“But you got it all mixed up! We only met a few days ago! How can you like somebody but barely know them?” I asked Susan and she shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t know, kiddo, love doesn’t work under any rules…” she said as she walked into the kitchen, leaving me alone sitting at the bar stools. 

After a few minutes of sitting Susan returned with four plates with burgers on them and placed them on a counter, “Here they are, now go over there and earn that extra tip.” she winked and I tried to keep my cool from her comments as I put the four plates on my silver platter and slowly walked over to their booth.

I placed the plates with food on their table and they all thanked me and I smiled and nodded my head as I started to walk away.

I went back to my bar stool and sat on it. I kept glancing back at my assigned booths and saw that a family of three and I went to take their order. 

While they were telling me what drinks they’ll have, I looked from the corner of my eye over to Jotaro’s booth and caught him already looking at me. And it wasn’t that friendly glance or anything…

He was just staring at me, probably thinking that I can’t see him. I quickly composed myself and fixed up my smile as I focused on the family. 

And the whole shift went smoothly and after some time the diner became more and more empty.

I started to clean up the tables and collect the dirty dishes and brought them back to the kitchen. 

Now, there was only one table occupied, and it was the one with Jotaro and his friends… They finished their food and drinks a long time ago, and even asked for refills. I rang up their bill and walked over to them. 

Michael and Dean were the ones getting up most of the time to change the song on the jukebox and I once noticed Jotaro saying something to Michael as he was getting up, probably to put on the song he wanted.

“Alright guys, ready to pay?” I asked them while putting the bill on the table and everyone nodded.

They all pulled out the cash and put it on the table. I picked up the slightly crumpled up dollar bills and walked over to the counter and handed Susan the receipt and the money. 

She thanked me and gave me the change. I walked over to them and placed the few dollar bills on the table and walked back to Susan, “Alright, kiddo! You did amazing on your first day! You’re really hard working, I must note.” she said with a smile. 

“Well, that comes with working tirelessly on a farm my whole life.” I joked and Susan nodded her head in agreement, “Ah, I remember my life living on a farm… It was something else…” she noted and I nodded in agreement. 

“Now you can go and throw out the trash, the trash bags are next to the back doors. Just throw them in the huge trash container. And you’re done for today.” Susan said as she untied her apron and walked around the counter. 

“I’ll see you tomorrow, kiddo! And don’t worry about the lights or locking in, Frankie’s staying overnight today!” Susan exclaimed as she walked out of the dinner and I sighed. Now it was only me, Jotaro and his friends. 

As I was cleaning up the last table I heard them get up and walk to the entrance doors.

“See you tomorrow girlie, don't forget to leave your number next time!” Michael exclaimed, earning him a swat on the head from Jotaro. 

“Good grief, stop embarrassing us.” Jotaro groaned as they all walked out and I chuckled a little.

They really knew how to be hilarious, that’s for sure. I walked to the kitchen and saw the exit doors with four trash bags laying next to it. 

I opened the back doors and was met with a dark alleyway with one street lamp shining dimly, but just enough I could see a few meters ahead of me.

I left the doors open as I went to grab the first trash bag… And it turns out they were quite heavy. 

And I threw the first bag into the trash container, then the second and then the third. And now I was left with the last, and the biggest trash bag… I tried to pick it up but I could barely hold it with my both hands. 

I decided to drag it out and try to somehow lift it up and throw it in the trash container.

As I was dragging the trash bag, my back was facing the entrance. But all of a sudden I bumped into something that didn’t seem like a brick wall. 

“AAH!” I screamed as I let go of the trash bag and jumped into the air. I whirled around and was met with Jotaro Kujo with his eyes slightly widened at my abrupt reaction.

“Uhm- Hi…? What are you doing here, exactly?” I breathed out as I smoothed out my uniform and raised an eyebrow at him. 

“I don’t know, Kakyoin pushed me away from them and said that I need to go and find you to talk to you about me… being ‘too threatening’ with you a day ago?” he said in confusion as he air quoted the two last words. 

Kakyoin was right, but he didn’t really have to do this… Next time I see him we’re going to have a nice long chat…

“Well, how thoughtful of him…” I smiled tightly as I went back to my huge trash bag. “You can talk while I- ngh- Throw this pile of crap in here-” I groaned as I dragged the trash bag closer to the container. 

I noticed that Jotaro came closer to me and took out the trash bag strings out of my hands and pulled it into the air and threw it into the trash container. “Or you can-” I noted as Jotaro dusted off his hands. 

I looked back at the diner and closed the exit doors, “Thanks- I mean for helping me out.” I said and he only nodded as we stood in the dimly lit alleyway. Jotaro started to walk away and I ran after him. 

“You’re probably wondering what in the hell am I doing here, working at Frankie’s…” I laughed awkwardly as I matched up his pace.

He glanced at me and nodded his head, “Yeah, how in the hell did you even know about this place?” he asked as we stopped in the middle of an empty parking lot. 

“I had to find a job since you know, I kind of… owe you five grand. I looked all around Winfield and I couldn’t find anybody that was hiring. But later I remembered that Kakyoin mentioned this place so I decided to shoot my shot, and now I work here.” I explained at a fast pace. 

Jotaro chuckled a little and I looked at him with a surprised expression, “What’s so funny all of a sudden?” I asked and Jotaro looked me in the eyes.

“You won’t earn that sum of money by the end of the month.” he laughed and I squinted my eyes at him. 

“Well, if you have any suggestions, I’m gladly listening.” I replied to him and he immediately quieted down.

I pulled out my car keys from the breast pocket on my waitress uniform and unlocked my car. 

I got in my car and closed the doors. Jotaro was still standing there as I started to drive backwards.

I rolled down my window, “Hey! You have your car here?” I asked as I noticed only one car left in the parking lot that wasn’t mine. 

He shook his head, “I don’t, I came here by foot. Why do you ask?” he asked me and I stopped for a second. 

Yeah… Why did I ask him that?

“Uh- I can drop you off. That’s the least I can do.” I laughed and Jotaro shrugged his shoulders as he walked over to my car and got into the passenger seat, but not without adjusting his seat since he couldn’t fit his legs fully. 

‘And he actually accepted the offer- Today’s full of surprises isn’t it?’ I thought as I pulled out of the parking lot and before I could turn left or right, I looked at Jotaro.

“Mind telling me the directions to your house?” I asked him and he motioned me to turn to the right. 

“Alright, I’ll drive slowly and you tell me when I need to take another turn.” I said and Jotaro nodded his head with a quiet humm. To politely say, he smelled like an ashtray. While it wasn’t bad or that it bothered me, it was just an unusual smell since nobody at my household ever smoked. 

We drove for ten or so minutes until we stopped at a smaller one story house. 

“This is it.” Jotaro said as I parked next to the sidewalk and he exited the car. I noticed one light still on in his house, “Well, see you tomorrow at school, Jotaro.” I said as I waved at him and he bid my goodbye with a nod of his head. 

I turned on the radio as I drove off. Once I got back to my street I parked the car in the driveway, grabbed my school bag and locked it before getting into my house.

Mom and dad were sleeping on a couch as an action movie played in front of them. 

I sighed as I entered my room and thought about my first day at my new job and smiled.

It went actually great and I think that after this quite short ride, I’m on good terms with Jotaro.

But as I got ready for bed and laid down, I just couldn’t fall asleep.

I walked over to my window and sat at the end of it, looking up to the starry night sky. I pulled my knees so I could rest my chin on them. 

My mind went back to Tommy and his description of Jotaro and his friends. And he obviously had many issues with them.

I was just scared as to what would happen if he was to find out that I work at Frankie’s?

That’s why tomorrow, I have to forge a plan on how to fool Tommy that I work at the Grand Star Cinema …

Yesterday I didn’t even sleep a wink, the anxiety was getting to my head and I couldn’t stop thinking about how I told Tommy and my parents I work at the Grand Star Cinema… 

Well my plan was, to say the least, really stupid. 

I won’t do anything unless one of them brings it up. 

Which kind of made sense since they probably have forgotten about it? At least Tommy has (hopefully so). And my parents certainly are soaking everything he and his family are saying. 

For example, this morning dad was telling mom how he saw those hooligans greasers yesterday in town.

They never thought badly about anybody until Tommy and his family started to come to our house for dinners or tea parties. 

I wanted to say something, defend them. Which I did once, saying that they can’t say such things until they’ve met them, and I was met with a long lecture about how I must keep away from them because they'll corrupt me. 

Utter nonsense if you ask me…

And today at lunch break Lisa and Sheri were absent since they had to stay behind to help the chemistry professor. Which left me all alone sitting by myself….

I ate my food in silence on the round table, thankfully Tommy and his friends were nowhere in sight, but now I was feeling a little bored since I had nobody to talk to. 

I glanced up as I drank from my water bottle and looked around the huge backyard of the school. And then I spotted Jotaro and his friends sitting by the same oak tree and talking. I smiled a little but focused on my food again. 

After a few moments I felt a few eyes on me so I looked up and saw them looking at me and waving, well everyone except Jotaro who only nodded his head.

I slightly waved back and then I saw them get up and walk in my direction. 

“Hi, Y/n! How are you? Mind if we sit here?” Kakyoin greeted me as he motioned to the empty table and I nodded my head, “Yeah, of course.” I said as I motioned them to sit. Kakyoin smiled as he, Dean and Michael quickly sat themselves on the benches, leaving Jotaro to sit next to me. 

“So, Y/n, do you, you know, have any plans after you finish up at Frankie’s?” Michael asked and everyone glared at him and I slightly squinted my eyes at him.

“Really, Michael? Really? You’re going after Tommy’s girl? You want to get beat up?” Dean laughed as he slapped his shoulder. 

... I’m... Tommy’s... WHAT!?

“Hold the fuck up! What is that supposed to mean!?” I exclaimed, appalled at what HAD Dean said.

The dirty blonde guy looked at me with confusion on his face, “What? Did I say something wrong?” he asked and my eyes widened. 

I coughed a few times, just to come to my senses, “You said I’m ‘Tommy’s girl’ . What in the fuck is that supossed to mean? The only thing I have in common with that guy is that we’re neighbors.” I scoffed, the mere thought of him making my blood boil. 

Dean, along with everyone else at the table looked at each other with raised eyebrows, “...That’s very interesting … Then why did we hear him say that to his friends?” Michael asked and I shook my head quickly. 

“Look guys, I have no idea as to why he would say that. I don’t like him, not one bit. He pokes his nose where it doesn’t belong and he bad mouths people for no reason. I think that is enough for an explanation.” I said as I crossed my arms. 

“This makes no fucking sense, but we trust you more that that stuck up dickhead.” Kakyoin said and everyone nodded their heads which made me sigh in relief. I mean, for a little time I knew Tommy, he sure was a huge asshole and a liar. 

Jotaro rolled his eyes, “Great, can we now eat in peace? Talking about that idiot ruins my appetite.” he groaned and we all laughed as we continued to eat.

I still was a bit shaken about what happened a few minutes ago, but I decided not to think about it for now and enjoyed the company of my new friends. 

We actually had a lot in common! 

Michael’s family and Dean and Danny’s family moved from similar places like Dalevile into Winfield, but to the East side since they couldn’t afford to live in the West side.

But they didn’t see it as an disadvantage or something to be ashamed of (like Tommy makes it to be). 

And they all met when they started to work in the car repair shop, which led us to talk about cars. Now, I’m no expert so few things left me clueless… But they gladly explained them to me with a smile. 

“You know Jotaro, if I had a car like you, I’d drive everywhere with it.” Kakyoin laughed and everyone at the table agreed and Michael rolled his eyes jokingly, “Yeah! You never drive that baby out of the back of the shop! It’s always covered!” he said and I looked up to Jotaro with a raised eyebrow. 

“What kind of car do you have?” I asked him and he sighed, “It’s the ‘69 Chevrolet Camaro. My old man gifted it to me for my birthday last month. He drove all the way here with this giant ass car in a wooden box and shit and gave it to me. The model just came out so it wasn’t on sale at many places.” he said and I looked at him in awe. [car look reference https://imgur.com/a/xrGHehP ]

Gosh he has such a cool grandpa!

“Driving must feel like a dream in it!” I laughed and Jotaro nodded, “It does, but I had to stop certain somebodys from driving off secretly.” He glared at his three friends who only sweated and laughed awkwardly. 

“You can’t blame us, Jotaro!” Kakyoin sniggered and Michael and Dean laughed along. “Y/n, you also have a cool car! Just that you owe Jotaro five grand-” Michael joked and Kakyoin slapped him on the head, “ Hey! You’re ruining the moment… ” he whisper-yelled but loud enough so I could hear. 

I did sweat a bit out of nervousness at the mention of my debt to Jotaro, so I slightly glanced at him and he was luckily eating his food in peace and probably didn’t hear Michael’s comment. 

Kakyoin quickly changed the theme and we continued to eat and talk about other topics. After a few more minutes the bell rang and we all bid our goodbyes.

I headed to my classroom and saw Sheri and Lisa sitting on their table and sat on my spot next to them. 

“Y/n! You’re back in full tact!” Sheri laughed as Lisa was removing her lab coat. “That I am… I was having a decent lunch break with Jotaro and his friends.” I said and both of them looked at each other with a smirk. 

“Oh really? We didn’t know you were so close with them… Tommy might get jealous.” Lisa jokes and my face paled after hearing the last sentence.

“Good fucking God, not you two.” I fumed as I sat on my chair and crossed my arms. 

And of course , speak of the devil and he shall appear…

“Y/n! Hey! Glad to see you!” Tommy greeted me as he entered the classroom with the usual six girls trailing behind him.

I still hadn't learned their names… “Hi.” I replied dryly as I pulled out the books for the next class.

Tommy, evidently unsatisfied by the lack of response he got from me, placed his hands on my desk and chuckled.

“You know, since you are working at Grand Star Cinema I was thinking we could go check out the new Bond film that came out. And you’ll get familiar with your new workplace.” he said with a smug smirk. 

My mind went blank as I processed his words. I’m fucking screwed if I decline, and by the looks of his fangirls, they’re going to kill me if I say yes. 

‘Take this one for the team, Y/n!’ I cheered myself on weakly and slightly nodded my head. 

“...Sure. When does the movie start?” I ask him in a monotone voice. “It starts at exactly 11:00 p.m. That isn’t the problem for you?” Tommy said with a smile.

My shift at Frankie’s ended at 10:45 p.m. so it gave me much needed time to get to the cinema, but I’ll have to bring other clothes with me so I could change out of my waitress uniform. 

I nodded my head, “Alright, and what movie are we planning on watching?” I raised an eyebrow at him.

“We're going to watch On Her Majesty's Secret Service, you know the new Bond movie.” Tommy said with a proud voice. 

By the tone of his voice, he probably thinks he’s like James Bond…

“Okay, I’ll go.” I replied and focused back on my books. Tommy beamed as he glanced back at the ferocious pack of six girls and laughed, “Sorry, ladies. I’m taken for tonight.” he laughed and I shot my head up and squinted my eyes at him. 

Did he just ask me to go to the cinema so he could say he wouldn’t be able to go out with those girls? What an fucking asshole. If I could, I'd kick him where the sun doesn’t shine right now.

I looked at Sheri and Lisa with annoyed expressions and I saw their mouths open and eyes widened.

Damn, even they were left stunned. But they quickly shook their heads and as Lisa was about to say something, our math professor came in, signaling us all to calm down. 

*Time skip to the end of school*

After our classes were over, Sheri, Lisa and I ran to the bathroom so I could change into my waitress uniform. This seems like it will become a routine for us. 

“I still can’t believe you agreed to go with Tommy to the cinema…” Lisa mumbled out as they waited inside the bathroom.

“But I had no other choice! If I had declined, he was going to get suspicious or something!” I exclaimed as I quickly dressed down and put on my dark red waitress uniform. 

I dashed out and fixed my hair as I looked at myself in the mirror, “Alright, I have to get going now. I can’t be late.” I rushed  Sheri and Lisa out as I clutched my overstuffed school bag, since now I had my books, school clothes and books in it. 

“Y/n, if you need any help with that shitbag, call us from the payphone near the cinema, ok?” Sheri asked as she grabbed my arm and I nodded my head, “Don’t worry, I will. Now, goodbye!” I laughed as I dashed away from them  and to the entrance of the school 

The school cleared out pretty quickly so I could parade with my uniform around and nobody would see.

Once I got in my car I started to drive towards Frankie’s. I hope this shift ends quickly…

*3rd p.o.v, Y/n*

Y/n dashed inside the quite empty diner and ran to the counter where Susan was waiting for her. “Hello!” Y/n greeted the older lady as she caught up her breath. Susan smiled at the h/c haired girl as she was cleaning the glasses. 

“Well, hello to you too, doll. Why’re you in such a rush?” Susan asked with an raised eyebrow. Y/n picked up her silver tray, the little notepad and a pen and looked at her assigned booths. 

Jotaro and everyone else was already here, waiting for her to pick up their orders. “How long have they been waiting for me?” Y/n asked Susan and she looked up to look at them, “Don’t worry, they arrived a few minutes before you, but nothing to worry about.” she said as she cleaned the last glass. 

Y/n nodded her head and quickly speeded towards them. “Hi guys! You’ll have the usual I presume?” she asked and everyone nodded their heads.

“So, what's up-” Dean started but Y/n quickly rushed back to Susan to give the order back. 

“What’s up with her?” Danny asked and Michael, who was sitting next to him, glared at him, “What’s up with you? Isn’t it past your bedtime?” he sniggered, earring a death glare from Dean. 

“Jeez, I can’t even joke around here. Not my fault your brother decided to randomly go with us.” Michael said and Kakyoin shushed him, “Danny is right… something is up with her. Any guesses?” he asked and everyone looked at Jotaro.

He gave them a confused look. “What? I didn’t do anything.” he said and Dean raised an eyebrow at him, “You sure you aren’t mangling with her behind our backs?” He joked, making Jotaro choke on his spit. 

“The fuck? Why would you even think that?” Jotaro snapped back and Kakyoin patted his back, “You know, you getting all defensive like this isn’t helping your case.” he whispered and Jotaro who only fumed up more. 

“When we told you to talk to her… what did you say?” Kakyoin asked, much louder now. “Nothing special, she just offered to drive me to my house and we talked for a bit.” Jotaro said, not getting why everyone was smirking at each other. 

Michael nudged Dean as he sniggered, “Yeah, they sure had a hefty ‘talk’-” he commented and both of them covered their mouths with their hands, but it wasn’t helping since they began to turn red from how much they were trying to keep their laughter in. 

“Good grief, sometimes I think I should’ve run over you two with my car.” Jotaro groaned as a slight hint of pink covered his cheeks.

His mind went back to last night and he must admit, she wasn’t that bad of a person to talk to. 

Maybe, they could have more lunch breaks together…

He looked back and saw Y/n carrying the plates with their food on them and everyone’s eyes lit up. “Here you go-” Y/n said as she placed one plate at the time to everyone at the table. 

She immediately placed the bill on the table and politely smiled at them and walked away.

“Yup, somethings definitely up.” Danny said and everyone looked at him with raised eyebrows. 

“And since when were you a woman's expert? You’re fifteen!” Michael pointed his finger at Danny who only shrugged his shoulders, “The magician never reveals his secrets.” he said with a smirk as he continued to eat his food. 

Jotaro sighed, “I’m going to the toilet, don’t do anything stupid.” he said as he walked off. After he was gone, Kakyoin snapped his fingers, gaining the attention of the guys, “You know, maybe one of us should go and… check up on what she’s up to after her shift.” Kakyoin suggested and everyone gave him weird looks. 

“...And why would we do that?” Dean asked him and Kakyoin laughed, “Not us, dear Dean… Jotaro.” he smirked as he propped up his elbows on the table.

“Since when do you play the matchmaker, Kakyoin?”  Michael laughed and Kakyoin shrugged his shoulders. 

“Is it because you can’t get a girlfriend yourself?” Danny commented earning a slap on the head from Dean, “Good God, Danny! Why are you so rude?” he asked but Danny only smiled. 

“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that. But anyway, I, as Jotaro’s best friend, have a duty to find him a girlfriend since he can’t find one of his own. Which means I have to take some kind of precautions.” Kakyoin said and Michael’s eyes widened.

“You… You didn’t vandalize her car… did you? ” he asked quietly, surprised by what Kakyoin said. 

Kakyoin spit out his drink and violently shaked his head, “The fuck I did! I repair cars, not destroy them!” he exclaimed. Everyone nodded their heads, believing him. 

“Alright, let’s go back on track. We’ll say we have hours we need to ‘make up’ for the hours at the workshop so we can’t do that.

So, he will have to go there alone and if luck is on his side, he might see her.” Kakyoin explained and the guys agreed. 

“Can’t believe we’re actually doing this…” Michael muttered under his breath as he noticed Jotaro coming back from the bathroom.

“Took you long enough, Jotaro.” Dean said and Jotaro tossed and sat back next to Kakyoin. 

Jotaro only shrugged his shoulders, “Eh, I only went to smoke a cigarette. I need a break from you four.” he said as he ate some of his food.

Kakyoin signaled with his eyes to Jotaro and everyone quickly began to eat their food. 

After a few minutes everyone was done, “Hey! Jotaro, buddy! You know how we have those work hours we need to make up for at the workshop? Yeah, we kind of can’t come to see what’s up with Y/n… Do you mind doing that alone?” asked Kakyoin as he drank the last bit of his soda. 

“Who even said I was going to go-” Jotaro questioned his friends but they quickly pulled out their cash, slapped it on the table and began to run out the entrance, and since Danny couldn’t run the fastest, Dean grabbed him and put him under his arm and dashed out of the diner. 

“Good grief…” Jotaro groaned as he pulled out his own cash and put it on the table.

He glanced at Y/n who was now cleaning the glasses quickly as she kept glancing at the clock. 

‘These losers are up to something, and I know when to trust my gut feeling.’ Jotaro thought as he kept glancing at Y/n.

He planned to take a walk around the West side, even before his friends suggested he follow Y/n. 

‘Well, if I see her, I see her. And if I don’t, I don’t. Not like they’re going to know anyways.’ the dark haired greaser thought as he drank the rest of his soda.

After a few minutes Y/n ran to the bathroom and moments after she ran out with a new outfit. 

She was wearing a short checkered black and white skirt with a white short sleeved shirt with black flats. 

Jotaro’s eyes followed her as she walked out and he too got out of his seat and tucked out his leather jacket before he too headed out.

Y/n didn’t even notice him behind her as she rushed inside her car and drove off. 

He took out his cigarette and lit it up. ‘This is going to be a long walk…’ he thought as he puffed out the smoke of the cigarette.

He noticed her car disappear out of his sight as he continued to walk his way to the center of the town. 

After walking for twenty minutes, he arrived in the much more bustling and crowded West side. He was taller than many people here, so he had no problem getting the to move out of his way. 

As Jotaro was walking down the sidewalk he noticed Y/n’s dark blue car parked next to the sidewalk and a rather familiar white Ford Mustang parked ahead of it. [car look reference https://imgur.com/ZoO0sAf ]

‘What’s Tommy’s car doing here?’ Jotaro asked himself as he stopped next to a dark alleyway. He looked up and he was met with a horrendous sight of Tommy smiling at Y/n who looked like she wanted to be anywhere else right now. 

“Ready to go princess?” Tommy asked with a chuckle and Y/n hesitantly nodded, “Yeah, I almost died of excitement.” she said as Tommy dragged her in the cinema.

Jotaro’s staring was interrupted by a tap on his shoulder. 

He turned around and he was met with the sight of five guys with smirks on their faces. 

“Well, hello to you too Jotaro! I didn’t know you would show up here tonight!” the first guy said as he swept up his brown hair.

“The fuck you you want Luis?” Jotaro asked as he immediately recognised who these guys were. 

They were Tommy’s minions. They did whatever Tommy asked of them without a question. And Luis was Tommy’s trusted right hand while the others, who’s names Jotaro didn’t care to remember, just stayed next to them and listened to whatever orders they were told. 

“You know, Henry over here still has a broken rib since our last… encounter … let’s call it that. And since you’re here, we thought we could repay you for that.” Luis said as they began to walk towards Jotaro started to back walk into the long and dark alleyway. 

“I beat your asses up that time, what makes you think I won’t now?” Jotaro asked as his vision was filled with the darkness of the poorly lit ally. The only thing he saw was the exit and the outlines of Tommy’s friends. 

Luis chuckled, “That’s why Henry brough a little gift with him this time.” Luis said and Jotaro looked at Henry who pulled something from his pocket.

Jotaro looked down to his hand and saw a shiny pocket knife tightly clutched in his hand. 

“Well? Afraid yet Kujo? The streets are empty since most of the people went home, so don’t be afraid to give the best of you.” Luis cackled as they began to approach him and Jotaro narrowed his eyes. 

“Bring it on, shitface.” Jotaro sneered and Luis and the others laughed. He really should've gone home… 

*1st p.o.v, Y/n*

After we bought our popcorn and drinks, we headed to the auditorium number three where the new James Bond movie was.

It was quite empty, which was a good thing since it meant that I didn’t have anybody sitting next to me… except Tommy. 

After the movie began, he commented on every little detail.

“Heh, you know- Dad said he was going to buy me the same exact gun he has! I mean look at that Walther PPK! He said that he’s going to even buy me the same exact car like James has.” Tommy flaunted and I fought my urge to roll my eyes for the hundredth time.

‘Well, Tommy, if I had that gun, I would have shoten you to shut up…’  I thought as I nodded my head with a tight smile, “That’s great, Thomas. But can you quiet down? You’re distracting me.” I said and Tommy nodded his head as he scoffed, “Whatever…” he said as he loudly chewed on his popcorn. 

After some time, he nudged my shoulder, “You know, you could be my Bond girl.” Tommy said and my eyes widened in shock. 

‘This fucker really thinks he’s James Bond…’ I cringed as I ignored him. 

*Time skip to the end of the movie*

The credits finally rolled and I joyously jumped out of my seat, “Ah, I had a good time Tommy- I mean Thomas.” I quickly corrected myself. Tommy nodded his head and swept his dirty blonde hair up. 

“Me too! Did I say that dad plans me to buy-” “Yes, yes you did.” I interrupted him before he even had a chance to continue. He really ruined the whole franchise for me now… 

As we exited the cinema I saw my car thankfully in full tact. “Well Tommy, see you tomorrow.” I waved at him as he went to his car and winked at me. “See you tomorrow doll!” he exclaimed as he drove off. 

And magically, my headache was gone! Now I can finally go home and sleep…

*3rd p.o.v, Y/n*

Y/n began to walk towards her car and all of a sudden, the all so quiet walk to her car was interrupted by a series of groans and grunts coming from the dark alley. Y/n shot her head in the direction of the noises.

It was a dark and creepy alleyway. She looked around and noticed the street completely empty.

“Fuckig shit…” she muttered as she mustered up the courage and walked to the entrance of the alleyway, tightly gripping her car keys. She noticed a pair of legs sticking out behind the dumpster. 

“....Hello? Are you okay?” she shouted while cupping her hands around her mouth. Y/n approached the dumpster as cautiously as possible.

She watched every step she took as she started calculating all the ways this could end. 

Y/n felt like she was in one of those series where people found a poisonous snake and they called a professional to take care of it. But nobody called for her.

She decided to sign her own death contract, it seems. Her shoes echoed in the alleyway, probably alerting the person that someone was heading their way. 

As she slowly walked to the dumpster, she noticed the familiar features of certain somebody she knew…. 

No way  

No fucking way  

Jotaro!?  

“Holly shit! What happened to you!?” Y/n exclaimed as she crouched down to his level and observed his face, as much as she could in the darkness of the alleyway.

Jotaro only grunted as he sat up more against a wall. 

“Nothing- I was just paid a visit.” he gouged up. “Jotaro, we need to get you to the hospital! Right fucking now!” Y/n shouted as she tried to get him up but he didn’t budge.

“Hell, I’m going there. I’ve faced much worse than a beating.” he groaned as he slowly got up. 

“Fine- But do you have your car with you here?” Y/n asked as she got up. “I don’t, but don’t worry, I can go home by foot.” Y/n ran in front of him as they exited the dark alleyway. 

He had a bruise one one cheek and a bleeding cut on his other cheek, a bleeding nose and red knuckles. 

“No ifs, ands or buts, Jotaro! I’m driving you home to get you fixed up.” Y/n said as she motioned to her car. Jotaro bit his slightly busted lip and slightly winced in pain.

“Fine. But let’s go quickly.” he said as they walked to her car as he looked around, Tommy’s friends nowhere in sight. 

“You can get in the back since I don’t think you’ll be comfortable in the driver’s seat.” Y/n said as she opened the doors for him and Jotaro quietly got in and laid on to the seats.

“Thankfully, I remember where you live, so you can close your eyes and I’ll tell you when we arrived.” Y/n said as she started her car and began driving out of the West side of Winfield. 

Jotaro stayed quiet the whole ride, thinking about Y/n kind act.

If this would have happened any other day, nobody would have helped him. People around here hold a giant disdain towards him and the people on the East side so they would probably call the police on him. 

But his thoughts stopped as he remembered his mom who was probably worried as to where he was… Shortly afterwards Y/n stopped in front of his house and noticed all the lights out. 

“Well, we're in luck since it seems that your parents are asleep.” Y/n said as she got out of the car and opened the back doors for Jotaro to get out.

He slowly got out and pulled out a house key out of his pocket. 

“Be quiet and stay here.” Jotaro said as he quietly unlocked the wooden doors and entered the quiet house.

He got in and saw the bedroom doors of his mom closed. “Okay, it’s safe, you can come in.” Jotaro said and Y/n quickly got in as she locked her car. 

She looked around the small house and smiled, it reminded her of the one she had back in Daleville.

But Y/n quickly shook her head and focused on Jotaro, “Okay and can you show me your bathroom?” she asked and Jotaro motioned her to follow him. 

They entered the small bathroom and Jotaro sat on the edge of the bathtub and groaned quietly. “You need help over there?” Y/n asked as she approached Jotaro, who slightly nodded. 

“Yeah, those fuckers beat the shit out of my arms and legs. Glad they didn’t do much to my face.” He said as Y/n grabbed one sleeve of his leather jacket and gently pulled it off and she did the same to the other sleeve. 

“Where is your first aid kit?” Y/n asked as placed the leather jacket on top of the closed toilet seat.

“In the bottom cabinet, under the sink.” Jotaro said and Y/n opened the cabinet and pulled out the kit. 

Y/n opened the kit and pulled out the half used bottle of rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball, “Well… you know this is going to sting.” the h/c haired girl said as she walked over to Jotaro and looked him in his eyes. 

Where does she even start? There's so much injury going on…

“Let’s start here…” she mumbled as she sat on the edge of the bathtub and motioned for Jotaro to lower his head.

And he did as he was motioned to, trusting Y/n’s medical abilities. 

She gently began to dab the bleeding wound with the soak up cotton ball.

“Just tell me when you want me to stop, okay?” Y/n asked and Jotro nodded his head. The pain did sting, but it was nothing new to him. 

After a few moments she noticed Jotaro looking at her with a raised eyebrow, “What is it?” she whispered to him.

“You’re pretty good at this… You have practice with cleaning wounds?” he muttered back. 

“Believe me I do… Geese and chickens can be super mean sometimes…” Y/n chuckled slightly as she patted down his lower lip, getting rid of the acces blood. “Makes sense…” Jotaro noted. 

She didn’t dare to look up into his eyes, since she was so close to him. But she must admit… he does have really beautiful ones…  

“Alright, here's your gause so you can wipe down the blood from your nose.” The e/c eyed girl said as she pulled out a medium white gauze from the kit that was in her lap. Jotaro took it and wiped the blood up. 

Y/n’s eyes focused on his red knuckles, “I'll wet up the other gauzes with cold water so we can wrap them around your knuckles.” she said as she got up and wet the both gauzes in cold water from the sink and put the kit on to the floor. 

“Okay, give me your right hand.” Y/n said and Jotaro gave her his hand, which was slightly bigger than hers.

She wrapped up the gauze around his knuckles and motioned for him to give her his left hand to which she did the same. 

“In the morning, you’re going to put an ice pack on your bruised cheek and knuckles, okay?” Y/n asked as she got up and went to close up the first aid kit and put it back in its place. 

Y/n walked up to the bathroom doors and glanced back at Jotaro, “Uh- I’ll get going now… See you tomorrow Jotaro.” but before she could walk out the door, Jotaro’s gauze wrapped hand grabbed her shoulder. 

“You can’t. It’s too dangerous.” Jotaro whispered as he made Y/n turn around to face him. “What do you mean, too dangerous? It’s like a twenty minute ride from there to my house.” Y/n said as she felt the wet gauze staining her white shirt. 

Jotaro sighed, “I know what I’m talking about. Here live some dangerous people, and I know that the best.” he said as he closed the bathroom doors behding Y/n, making her back hit the closed doors. 

“U-Uh… Okay then…” Y/n whispered nervously as she felt how close he was to her. “Follow me.” Jotaro said as he finally opened the doors and walked in the direction of his room. 

He motioned for Y/n to take a seat on his old bed as he turned on the lights, “I’m going to get you my mom's pajamas since I know she has a shit ton of them in her bedroom. Don’t snoop around though.” Jotaro warned Y/n who vigorously nodded her head. 

He walked out, leaving Y/n alone. Jotaro’s bed creaked at any sudden movements so she decided to sit still and observe the room.

It had two shelves on the wall next to the desk. There was a picture with what seemed to be his father, mother and him.

The next picture was him, his parents and grandparents all smiling under the giant christmas tree. In those pictures, he looked like he was ten years old.

Y/n looked at his bed which had one big pillow, two blankets and one small pillow that was put next to the wall. It looked like it barely fit one person in, so she slightly panicked.

She sometimes daydreamed about sleeping over at a guy's house, but not like this, after saving him and fixing up his wounds. 

Her stomach twisted at the thought of Jotaro laying next to her. And out of everyone, the universe chose that it was him.

After a few minutes he came in with what looked like a long sleeping gown with a flower pattern, classic mom pajamas. 

“Here you go, you can go to the bathroom to change… And I think that there's a spare toothbrush under the cabinet.” Jotaro said as he gave Y/n the sleeping gown and she speeded out of his room and into the bathroom. 

Y/n quickly got dressed up and neatly folded up her clothes. She found the spare toothbrush and quickly brushed her teeths.

She walked out with her clothes in her hands and tried to make as little sound as possible. 

The knee length gown did make her feel comfortable, but she reminded herself that it was not hers, but it was owned by Jotaro’s mother. 

She entered the room and when she did, she was met with a sight of Jotaro in a black tank top and dark blue pajama pants.

“I’m so sorry- I should’ve knocked first-” she blushed as she covered her eyes, thinking that Jotaro was interrupted by her mid dressing. 

“What do you mean? I’m done dressing.” He said as he crossed his arms. “Oh?” Y/n squeaked out as she peered over her hand and looked at his muscular arms.

“Well, if that’s the case…” she awkwardly chuckled as she gently closed the doors of his bedroom. 

“Alright, I can sleep on the floor, and since you’re injured you need to lay on something soft.” Y/n said as she began to sit down but Jotaro grabbed her upper arm and got her up.

“No, you aren’t sleeping on the damn floor, you’re sleeping in the bed. You will get huge back pain and probably a spider bite.” he said as he sat her down on the bed. 

Y/n gulped nervously, “A-Alright.” she muttered with a shaky voice. She scooted over to the wall and draped one blanket over herself.

Yeah, it might be the beginning of summer, but nothing felt better than laying under a blanket. 

Jotaro walked over to the light switch and turned off the lights. The room was now completely dark, except the glistening rays of moon seeping through the opened window.

Jotaro slowly walked to the bed and laid next to Y/n, making her scoot over the wall even more. 

“...Good night…” Jotaro whispered as he closed his eyes. “Good night, Jotaro.” Y/n whispered back as she tried to close her eyes and fall asleep too. She felt Jotaro’s warmth next to her and it felt a little comforting.

But after a few minutes it became a little suffocating. This guy was a walking heather! Y/n turned a little and fidgeted around until she found the right spot and tightly held the blanket to herself.

Her heart beat didn’t want to calm down, no matter if she tried to breathe steadily or imagine happy scenarios with Bucky.

Her mind always went back to Jotaro… Was her brain trying to tell her something?

But Y/n quickly shook her head as she stared at the white wall as her back was facing Jotaro’s. She once again tried to close her eyes and fall asleep, but her heart wasn’t having it. 

After a few minutes of calm breathing her quick beating heart steadied and she finally managed to fall asleep. 

“Holly shit! Look at how many dresses there are!” Sheri exclaimed as she rushed inside a huge dress boutique as Y/n and Lisa trailed behind. Y/n stayed quiet as she and Lisa followed Sheri to the register. 

“Mom!” Sheri exclaimed and an older blond woman walked to the counter and smiled, “Hello dear, going dress shopping with your friends I see?” she laughed and Sheri nodded. 

She nodded and smiled, “Well, good luck to you girls! And don’t rush, the right dress is waiting for you to find it.” she said and the three girls nodded their heads and headed deeper in the boutique. 

Y/n sighed as she looked at all the dresses displayed to them. She really didn’t even feel like going to the prom, but thanks to Tommy, she was forced to be his date and go.

She would much rather go with Jotaro, but even just a thought of him made her heart wrench in sadness. 

Sheri put a hand on her shoulder and looked at her with sympathy, “...I know you don’t want to go to prom… Because of you-know-who - But at least you can look way prettier than him. I mean you already do but you get my point.” she said with a wink and Y/n laughed. 

“You are right about that one for sure.” Y/n said as she glanced at a few dresses and decided to take a closer look at them.

Some had beautiful colors but questionable designs but some had the opposite. 

‘Will he… even come to the prom?’ Y/n asked herself as she browsed the dresses that were hung on the hanger.

None of them caught her eye but as she looked up, she noticed this was one of probably a thousand rows of dresses. 

*thirty minutes later*

“-I’m exhausted…” Lisa said as she leaned against the outer wall of the bright pink dressing room wall.

“Yeah, my legs are hurting from all this walking…” Y/n said as she exited the dressing room with yet another dress in her hands. 

“Guys! Come have some spirit! The prom is going to be in two days!” Sheri exclaimed as she exited the dressing room in a bright yellow dress.

“I’m sorry Sheri, but I don’t think I have the energy to try on more dresses.” Y/n said and Lisa nodded in agreement. 

Sheri rolled her eyes and laughed, “Alright girls, give me 10 minutes.” she said with an evil smirk as she ran off into the boutique, still wearing the yellow dress.

“Should we be concerned?” Y/n asked and Lisa shrugged her shoulders. 

“I’m not sure, but right now I think I’ll take a nap here.” Lisa whispered as she closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall. 

“Alright… Then I’m left all to myself.” Y/n muttered to herself as she decided to look around more, despite her wanting to sit down. As she looked to the side she noticed pastel pink curtains in the corner. 

Y/n shrugged her shoulders as she decided to take a look. As she walked closer she noticed a slight gap between the curtains. 

‘Should I look in, or should I go back?’ she thought but decided to go in anyway. 

As Y/n moved a curtain she saw a small area with one clothing rack with wheels and few dresses on them. 

Why were these dresses here and not out with the others? They didn’t look similar or same to any other dress she saw in the boutique. Y/n walked to the clothing rack and skimmed over the 5 dresses, 

She looked at the dresses and slightly gasped. They were all so beautiful! “I should ask Sheri about these ones.” she muttered under her breath and as she turned around she was met with Sheri smiling at her. 

“Y/n! I was trying  to find you all around the boutique!” Sheri exclaimed and Y/n jumped in the air. “Holly shit, Sheri! You scared me!” Y/n yelped in surprise.

“This is the hanger with the dresses that nobody wanted. They’ve been here for three years at least. ” Sheri said as she took the other five dresses from the rack and ushered Y/n out of the area. 

“You’re going to try every one of those!” Sheri exclaimed as rushed Y/n to the dressing rooms and shoved all the dresses in her arms. Lisa, who was now wide awake, stood next to Sheri and laughed. 

Y/n took off her clothes and put on the first dress, and for some reason it was just so itchy.

“Guys, I feel like I want to rip my skin apart because of how itchy this is.” Y/n said as she moved the pink curtain, revealing her in the first dress. 

Sheri and Lisa nodded their heads and Lisa motioned for Y/n to go back in. As she tried on second, the third dress, Sheri and Lisa gave her disapproving looks. Now there was only one dress left. 

“I really hope this is the one…” Y/n said as she traced her hand over the f/c dress. As she put it on, and walked out, Sheri and Lisa gasped and grinned.

“This is it ! This is the dress!” Sheri exclaimed as she went to Y/n and spun her around. [dress inspiration looks https://imgur.com/a/CZgQssf ]

“Next week will be the best week ever! Hopefully Tommy gets hit by a car until then…” Lisa said as she shrugged her shoulders and Y/n nodded her head, “Yeah, anything just so I don’t have to go with him. But anyways, let’s go pay for our dresses and maybe we can go out to eat something?” she said and the two girls nodded their heads in agreement and walked to the register to pay. 

*3rd p.o.v, Jotaro*

“Man, look at these suits!” Dean exclaimed as he looked through the suit shop with Jotaro, Kakyoin and Michael.

Jotaro trailed behind Dean, Kakyoin and Michael, not wanting to even glance at the suits. 

He planned to go, but now he was going to stay in the car repair shop or sulk at Frankie’s. The only girl he wanted to go with, was now going to go out with somebody who is much wealthier than him and has a good reputation. 

He wanted to convince himself he didn’t care, but his aching heart proved him wrong.

All he wanted to do was go there and sweep her from Tommy’s arms and dance with her in the middle of the gym podium. 

Even if he was going to be clad in his usual leather jacket and dark blue jeans. 

“Why are we even here? You know we can’t afford any of these.” Michael putted as he looked at the multiple displayed suits,Kakyoin nodded in agreement.

“Come on guys! Don’t be so miserable! Maybe we can’t buy them, but we can rent them out, which is much cheaper.”  Dean said as he looked behind, noticing Jotaro staring at the ground. 

He motioned to the rest of the gang to come closer to him, not wanting Jotaro to hear their discussion.

“We have to convince Jotaro to go. Easy or the hard way, I don’t care, he has to go with us.” Dean said and everyone nodded their heads, 

“Yeah, but how exactly are we gonna do that? All he’s doing now is sulk and look sad. How exactly do you think we’re going to coax him to come with us?” Michael whispered. 

“Or maybe, we let him be? I don’t want to force him to come if he obviously doesn’t want to, besides Y/n is going to be there with Tommy, and I think that’s the last thing he needs to see. As much as I want him to join us, I think it's best for us to leave him be.” Kakyoin said and Dean and Michael nodded their heads in agreement. 

“Yeah… It seems so. Damn, I feel so bad for him… Wait! That Bonnie girl! You remember her?” Michael said and Dean shook his head, “No way we’re gonna set him up with anybody, let alone her. ” he shuddered at the mere thought of Jotaro’s black haired fangirl. 

“Okay, we're going to go and rent these suits up and then we’re going back to the workshop.” Dean said as they walked to the register and noticed an older man in an expensive suit signing off some papers. 

Dean rang the bell that was on the table and the man looked up to them, quite startled, “O-Oh, hello gentlemen, are you perhaps lost?” he asked snarky as he viewed them up and down, observing their clothes, and Dean rolled his eyes. 

“No we ain’t, sir . We’re here to rent up some suits for the prom if you may.” Dean said as he swept up his dirty blonde hair.

The man sniggeered a little, “Of course, why did I even ask?” He rolled his eyes as he got up from his chair and looked at them and then glanced at Jotaro who was further away. 

“Are all four of you going to rent out suits?” the man asked and Dean motioned to Michael who was on his right side, himself who was in the middle, and Kakyoin who was on his left side. 

“Only us three, sir.” Dean said, a bit dejected. “Alright then gentlemen, when you find your suits, come back to me to pay. ” the man said and the four boys headed deeper into the suit shop. 

After they tried out multiple suits, they finally found the right ones. 

“Damn, I didn’t know I looked so good in navy blue.” Dean said as he looked at himself in the mirror.

Kakyoin, who was also looking at himself in the mirror alongside Michael, laughed. 

“I mean yeah, you don’t go and rent suits everyday.” Kakyoin said as he looked at the suit he was wearing.

It was almost black, but if you came closer you could see a hue of dark green. 

Michael winked at his reflection as he was wearing black trousers and white and black suit jacket and he paired it up with a black bow tie, “I think I could get used to this.” he whispered as he looked away and noticed Jotaro looking at one of the displayed suits. 

It was all black and paired up with white bow tie. Jotaro traced his fingers across the suit and sighed softly.

Michael’s eyes lowered as he felt sad for his best friend. He didn’t have enough money to rent out another suit, which made him feel even more bad. 

After a few minutes, the guys got dressed up in their usual clothes and walked to the register and paid for the suits.

The older man placed them in plastic covers and stacked them up and the guys took them in their hands. 

As they all started to walk towards the doors, they were met with Tommy and his gang entering the suit store. 

“Oh! Jotaro! I didn’t expect you and your friends to be here out of all places.” Tommy laughed, making his friends laugh right after him. Jotaro’s eyes darkened as he heard Tommy’s agitating voice. 

Kakyoin’s eyes widened as he looked back at Jotaro and then at Michael and Dean. “This isn’t going to end well…” Kakyoin muttered under his breath as he went to stand in front of Tommy and Jotaro. 

“Oh, and you are all going to the prom? I’m surprised you all even managed to get dates.” Henry commented and Tommy nodded his head, “Yeah, and it looks like out friend Jotaro doesn’t have a date and the money to even rent out a suit.” he said as he rolled his eyes. 

“Knock it off, Tommy.” Michael chimed in as he grabbed Jotaro’s upper arm and tried to move him away from Tommy but he didn’t budge. Jotaro lared at Tommy as he felt his blood boiling. 

All he wanted to do was beat the shit out of every one of them, but especially Tommy. Without saying anything he strutted up to Tommy and picked him up by the collar of his polo shirt. 

“Listen here you piece of shit… I can break all the bones in your body in under ten minutes… If I was you, I would shut my ass up and get out of my way.” Jotaro sneered as veno dripped from every word he said. 

Tommy was about to open his mouth but the older man from the register rushed over to them and tore Tommy away from Jotaro’s grip, “That’s it! Out! Out all of you! Mr. Williams I am so sorry-” the man started to brush off Tommy’s shirt but he slapped his hand away. 

“I-It’s fine, Richard. I think Jotaro and his friends were heading out anyway…” Tommy said, catching up his breath.

Jotaro grinded his teeth and stormed out of the suit shop. Kakyoin, Dean and Michael rushed out of the shop hoping he hadn't disappeared. 

Kakyoin groaned as he slapped his forehead, “Great, we lost him.” he said as he looked around the bussy West side.

“He probably went back to his home, repair shop or Frankie’s. I don’t think he would be anywhere around here.” Dean said and Michael and Kakyoin nodded their heads. 

“We can also head home and hope he doesn’t do anything stupid.” Michale said and they all headed back to their neighborhood.

Jotaro got into his house and slammed the doors shut. He got into his room and closed the doors and slid down until he was sitting on the floor.

First he saw Tommy, than the fucker had the nerve to taunt him. 

He could’ve killed him right there and then, but thankfully his friends knocked him out of the blind rage. 

Jotaro sighed as he got up and this time gently opened and closed the doors behind him as he headed to Holly’s room.

But of course not before making her some tea and a few biscuits from the pantry. 

He knocked onto the doors two times and Holly’s warm but weak voice could be heard through the doors, “Jotaro baby! Come on in!” she laughed as Jotaro opened the doors and walked to her. 

He placed the tea and biscuits silently on the nightstand next to her and sat on the bed.

“Dear, is everything alright? You seem like you’re really frustrated.” Holly said softly and Jotaro hesitantly nodded his head. 

“Well then, I’m listening.” Holly said and Jotaro took a deep breath. He found it difficult to speak about what he felt, but he knew that his mother would listen to him. No matter how long it took him to speak out. 

“There's this shitty dance or whatever it is at school in two days… and I really didn’t give two shits about it. But… the guys said I should invite Y/n to the dance. And I did want to do that. But…” Jotaro stopped as he gripped the bed sheets out of anger. 

Holly smiled softly as she placed a hand on Jotaro’s shoulder, “It’s alright sweetie… continue.” she said calmly and Jotaro nodded his head.

“This fucker Tommy invited her before me and she said yes. I saw something was off, but I just couldn’t even be there.” Jotaro said as he released the bed sheets from his strong grip. 

“And now I feel like I should go there and dance with her, but at the same time I think I should stay at home.” Jotaro said as he glanced at Holly who smiled at him. 

“Oh, my dear boy… This is one the once in a lifetime chance! I think you should go there and have fun with your friends, even though you don’t have a date.” she said as she pulled off the covers of her legs. 

Jotaro immediately got up to help her out but Holly chuckled, “Now… I’m not that weak, JoJo.” she said as she walked to her closet and opened it. She pulled out a black suit with an white bow tie on a hanger. 

“This used to be your fathers when he performed here in America. He wore it only a few times, and I think it would look absolutely perfect on you.” she said as she handed Jotaro the suit and smiled. 

“But I don’t think I even want to go-” “Hush now, dear. Put that in your room and think about it until the dance night.” she interrupted Jotaro mid sentence as she laid back on her bed and put the covers back on her legs. 

“Now, if you’ll excuse me. I want to drink my tea in peace and quiet.” Holly said and Jotaro slowly walked out of her room and gently closed the doors.

He walked back to his room and laid the suit onto his bed and crossed his arms. 

He still planned on not going, but Holly’s words repeated in his head. Making him unsure of his first choice. 

*Time skip to the prom night*

As Y/n put on her dress and did her make up and hairstyle she looked herself in the mirror. She did look stunning, but she knew that it was all fake, it was all for Tommy Williams. 

She imagined herself dancing to one of the slow songs with Jotaro as they gazed into each other's eyes, but she knew it would only happen in her imagination since she doubted he would show up. 

As she was touching up her hairstyle she heard a loud honking of a car outside her house. “It’s Tommy…” she muttered under her breath as she smoothed out her f/c dress and rushed down. 

“Oh! Y/n dear! You look absolutely beautiful! Just like a princess out of the fairy tale!” her mother gasped as she saw Y/n in her dress.

Y/n smiled at her mother and father, but her smile faded as she noticed Tommy standing by the doorway. 

“Hi.” Y/n said shortly and Tommy smiled, “You look absolutely stunning.” he said as he smoothed out his all white suit.

“Thank you.” she said and Tommy looked at her parents. “I’ll have her home by 12:00 pm.!” he laughed and tried to grab Y/n by her arm but she quickly pulled away. 

They walked to his car and he opened the doors for her, “Here you go, princess.” he said and Y/n nodded her head and got in without a word.

Tommy closed the doors and got into the driver's seat and began to drive towards the school. 

Once they arrived, they saw how many cars were parked and they finlay found the free parking spot. Once they got into the decorated gym, all eyes fell onto them.

Y/n’s stomach flipped and twisted with anxiety as she tried to smile but she was just too nervous. 

“Can I please get a loud applause for Tommy Williams and his absolutely stunning prom date!?” The singer on the stage shouted and everyone started to clap as Tommy and Y/ walked down the stairs and reached the podium. 

“Alright everybody! Grab your date and rush to the podium! The dance is about to begin!” The guy shouted and everyone cheered as they rushed to the dance podim.

Tommy grabbed Y/n by her hand and rushed her to where the rest of the students were dancing. 

Y/n didn’t even have time to react to what was happening and now she was trying to keep up with Tommy’s frantic moves.

And so few songs passed and she probably stumbled over her heels about a hundred times. 

Finally, a more calming song started to play, and everyone slowed down. Tommy grabbed Y/n by her waist and brought her up closer.

“Ah… You see, darling. It isn’t so bad, right?” Tommy laughed as he spun her around and Y/n only rolled her eyes. 

After a few moments, she heard the doors open and she looked up and low and behold, there stood one and only…

Jotaro Kujo

She almost gasped as she felt her heart skip a beat as she noticed him looking at her. Tommy, noticing the arrival of Jotaro grumbled as he grabbed Y/n’s chin towards him, “Focus here, darling.” he seethed as he motioned towards his face and Y/n only nodded her head. 

She saw Jotaro walk towards Kakyoin, Michael and Dean who gasped in surprise and hugged him.

They probably didn’t expect him to show up, just like she did. As the song finally ended she tore herself from Tommy. 

“I’m going to go grab a drink.” she said as she rushed to the table with drinks and food. She grabbed a plastic cup and filled it up with red punch and drank it hurriedly. She placed the cup back onto the table. 

She scanned the crowded gym and noticed Jotaro on the other side of the gym, already looking at her.

Her heart skipped a beat and her cheeks heated up. She thought he would look away, but to her surprise, he started to walk towards her. 

Y/n looked around and noticed Tommy nowhere in sight. As Jotaro came more and more near her, her heart started to race much faster.

Once he was finally in front of her, she looked into his eyes, despite being extremely nervous. 

“Hi…” she whispered to Jotaro, not expecting him to say anything. “Hi.” he said shortly as he looked at her.

Why did he even do this? This was such a stupid decidon…

He slowly outstretched his hand but quickly retreated it. After a few silent moments he tried to again and this time, he took her hand and gently held it. 

“... Will you… dance with me…?” Jotaro muttered out and Y/n’s head shot up and her eyes widened.

“I… Sure…” Y/n replied as she gulped down. By now, her heart would have exploded. 

Jotaro’s blank expression didn’t change as he led her to the dance podium. They got a few weird stares, but they were too busy to even notice them.

But just as they reached the center of the podium, it dawned on him.

He didn’t know how to dance

“I… don’t know how to-” Jotaro said as he tried to compose himself and Y/n laughed, “No worries, JoJo! It’s quite simple.” she chuckled, much more relaxed.

She grabbed his hand and put it around her waist and put one of their hands in the air. 

“I’m a bit rusty myself, but I think we’ll manage.” Y/n said and Jotaro nodded his head. As he looked away from her, he noticed Kakyoin, Michael and Dean cheering and laughing. 

“Go Jotaro! You’ve got this!” Michael hollered as he swung his drink in the ear, clearly drunk. Kakyoin smiled warmly and showed him thumbs up and Dean kept chanting, “Go JoJo!”. 

Jotaro smiled a little and focused on Y/n. They danced quite slowly, just so Jotaro kept track of the dance moves.

Y/n smiled as she looked him into his eyes and Jotaro smiled in her direction. 

They danced for a few more minutes and just as the new song was going to start, Jotaro felt a strong grip on his shoulder. 

“Jotaro Kujo… Always… needing to ruin shit for me.” Tommy said as he yanked him back. His cheeks were red, his hair was quite disheveled and his speech was quite slurred.

Now it was obvious he went to drink alcohol with his friends. 

“Me? How about I ruin that face of yours with my fists.” Jotaro sneered and Tommy scoffed as he tried to keep up his balance.

Y/n froze in her tracks as she noticed that the other students stopped dancing and looked in their direction. 

Tommy laughed as he fumbled with his words for a few seconds, “Y-You’re always no bark and no bite, Jotaro.

Now if you will excuse me, me and my date have an unfinished dance to complete.” Tommy said as he went to grab Y/n but Jotaro grabbed his wrist and squeezed it with his hand.

The students gasped as Tommy hollered in pain and tore his wrist away from Jotaro. “This is it you nasty greaser!” Tommy shouted as he went to punch Jotaro, but he was met with Jotaro’s fist in his face. 

Y/n, including everyone else, gasped in horror as Tommy flew a meter away from them and held his probably broken nose.

Blood dripped between his fingers and onto his white suit. 

“You… You piece of shit! Look at what you did to my suit!” Tommy screeched out as he frantically got up but he lost his balance and fell onto the floor, but this time, one of his teeth slid close to Y/n’s shoe, which left a slight bloody trail. 

Few quiet moments passed, and all of a sudden everyone started to cheer and laugh, applauding Jotaro for knocking down Tommy. 

 Y/n’s eyes widened in disgust as she looked at Jotaro who quickly turned to her and grabbed her hand and ran off to the exit. They ran through the exit and onto the huge parking lot. 

“What- WHAT WAS THAT!? ” Y/n exclaimed in horror as she looked at Jotaro who only exhaled.

“I… I don’t know what came over me…” Jotaro muttered as he ran a hand down his face. 

“I… Holy shit. I don’t know what to say except, good riddance.” Y/n said as she sighed. Jotaro nodded his head as he grabbed her hand once again and started to walk down the parking lot. 

“Where are we going?” Y/n asked and Jotaro motioned towards his car. 

“I’ll show you, but don’t be annoying, alright?” he asked and Y/n nodded her head, “Whatever you say, JoJo.” she replied as they sat inside his car and drove off. 

They drove further from the bustling West side to a quiet and moonlit meadow. Jotaro stopped his car and exited, and Y/n followed suit, but neither closed the doors. 

“It looks absolutely beautiful…” Y/n whispered as she looked around the flower filled meadow. Jotaro nodded his head as he walked towards Y/n and stood next to her.

“You know-” he went on to say but was interrupted by his car's radio starting to play. 

As the melody became clear, he immediately recognised the song, it was Elvis Presley’s Can't Help Falling in Love.

Jotaro softly grabbed Y/n’s hand and the other one he slowly wrapped around her waist, bringing her closer.

“Since we didn’t get to finish our dance earlier, I thought we could try here…” he whispered and Y/n blushed at his actions, but she certainly didn’t complain.

“You seem to remember the steps quite well, JoJo.” Y/n laughed softly and suddenly Jotaro twirled her and brought her closer to his chest.

“I’m glad to hear that, Y/n.” Jotaro muttered as they continued to dance to the song on the radio. 

They softly swayed to the song until they stopped. Jotaro looked at Y/n as the moonlight reflected into her e/c eyes.

He placed his one hand on her cheek and brought her face closer to his. 

Y/n nervously trembled as she felt his breath against her lips. After a few moments, she grabbed him by the collar and kissed him. Jotaro’s eyes widened as he wanted to gasp, but he melted into the kiss. 

Once they moved away from each other, Y/n softly smiled as she laid her head on his chest and Jotaro wrapped his arms around her waist as they continued to listen to the song as they looked at the moon.

*Monday, 1.st p.o.v, Y/n*

“DARLING! COME DOWNSTAIRS!” Mom screamed from the bottom of the stairs. 

I groaned in my pillow as I got up from my bed, “Good God… I’M COMING IN  MINUTE!” I shouted back and was met with silence.

“Classic.” I muttered under my breath as I got out of bed and put on slippers and walked downstairs. 

“I’m here mom… And… Why did you call me down this early? It’s like 6 a.m and I have to get to school at 7:15 a.m” I said and mom looked at me with a raised eyebrow, “...Y/n, you lived on a farm all your life. Did the Winfield air get into your head already?” she asked and I laughed. 

“Oh, don’t worry, I was only joking.” I said as I tried to defend myself. Mom shook her head and motioned at the front doors.

“Your father is waiting outside for you, and hurry up!” Mom pushed me a little and she furrowed her eyebrows. 

‘What in the hell does dad need me now..?’ I thought as I stepped outside with my fluffy slippers. 

And lo and behold, on the drive in stood my father with a brand new car next to him, the keys of the car dangling from his finger. 

“Close your mouth or you’re going to catch flies.” Dad chuckled as he walked over to me and dangled the car keys in front of my shocked face.

“What? You’re at a loss of words?” dad asked jokingly and I still gaped at the new and polished car. 

“I- How- But why-” I tried to form a sentence but closed my mouth.

Dad laughed as he patted me on her back, “You see… Me and your mom want you to fit in with the kids here, and I don’t think that riding around with our beat up pickup truck will help. Besides, we know you have whined for a car since 7th grade.” he said and I gently took the car keys from him. 

The car looked like it was from that one magazine I’ve read in Daleville.

“I didn’t know that Ford Mustangs were so wanted on the market, but I got a special deal since I know how happy you would be.” Dad smiled warmly as he adjusted his button up shirt.

“I- Thank you dad-” I whispered as I launched herself into his arms. 

“Alright, kiddo- You’re starting to choke me now-” Dad wheezed out as he pulled away from my strong gripp, “Oops, sorry ‘bout that…” I sheepishly laughed and dad only patted my head.

“I have to get going to my new workplace, and you should start getting ready.” he noted as he pointed to my fluffy slippers. 

“Bye dad!” I  exclaimed in embarrassment as I rushed inside and started to get ready. Once I was done, I ate the breakfast that mom prepared and of course went into the yard and had a decent petting session with Bucky. 

Once I washed my hands and got my bag with books, I bid goodbye to Bucky and mom. I entered my brand new Ford Mustang and grinned, “This machine is so much better that our red tin can…” I laughed as I pulled out of the driveway and started to drive out of the neighborhood. 

I noticed the stares she was getting as she entered the center of town. I passed the restaurants, cinemas and many more until I reached the high and mighty, Rydell High.

My confidence began to deflate as soon as I noticed just how many people were outside and chatting.

“Maybe… If I stay in my car for a few minutes. Hehehe…” I laughed awkwardly as I noticed the stares from the students who began to whisper ‘discreetly’.

I parked the car in a free spot and adjusted my black skirt that reached past my knees and f/c coloured blouse with a bow tied at the collar. 

“Next time I’m not asking mom for fashion tips.” I muttered and took a deep breath, exiting the new car as I locked it.

I gulped and looked around the huge yard, looking for Tommy who was supposed to wait for me at the entrance. 

As I looked one more time I spotted the dirty blonde guy. I tightly grabbed my leather school bag and began to walk towards Tommy. 

I could see the people staring at me, but I  tried to ignore it.

I noticed Tommy being surrounded by a group of six girls and all of them were laughing and giggling while two of them were wrapped around his arms.

‘Should I say something… Or should I wait?’ I thought and just as I was about to stop a few feet away from Tommy and his groupie, he noticed me and tore away from the girls’ grip. 

“Y/n! Nice to see that you’ve made it! By the way, you have an awesome car! I didn’t know you out of all people would have such a beast.” Tommy laughed. 

‘Ouch… This guy never really learned to give a compliment, did he?’ I thought bitterly as I tightly smiled. 

“What can I say, looks can deceive…” I mumbled out and noticed the glares I was receiving from the six girls.

Tommy also noticed this and laughed, “Oh! How rude of me! Girls, this is Y/n L/n, the new student from Daveville-”

“It’s Daleville.” I quickly interrupted Tommy who only cleared up his throat, “Yeah, yeah Davevill, Danville- whatever. But anyway, I want you all to be nice to her, okay?” he asked and all of them smiled at him and said yes. 

Tommy grinned and motioned for me to follow him, “Don’t worry about them, they just don’t like new people…” Tommy said with a reassuring smile. 

‘Reminds me of a certain hissing feline…’ I internally rolled my eyes and nodded. 

His fangirls followed close to the both of us, whispering God knows what. 

As Tommy was showing me around the school, he noticed the absence of his fangirls. “Not this shit again?” Tommy whispered as he looked around the hallway and noticed the six girls walking into the opposite direction. 

“Tommy? What's the matter?” I asked in confusion and Tommy only rolled his eyes, “For the hundredth time, it’s Thomas- And you’ll have to excuse me for a second-” he muttered as he rushed back to his fangirls who were obviously going back to the entrance to look for somebody who had just arrived. 

And now I was left standing alone in the middle of a crowded hallway.

I had my schedule which arrived via mail but I didn’t know where the rest of my classes were since my guide, Tommy, ran away. 

“Good God… I’ll murder him when I see him…” I muttered angrily but I was all of a sudden tapped on the shoulder. I turned around and was met with two girls smiling. 

One had short blonde hair with bangs, green eyes and was wearing brown flared out pants with a pink shirt with flower print on it along with brown leather sandals.

The other one had longer brown hair with a headband, hazel eyes and was wearing a yellow plaid dress with white flats and she had a small yellow hair clip in her hair.

“Hi… We noticed you were lost and we wanted to know if you needed any help?” the blond one began and the brunette girl nodded in agreement.

I sighed in defeat and nodded my head, “Yeah… This guy Tommy- I mean Thomas was supposed to show me the rest of the school but he ran off to chase his fangirls.”

The two girls’ eyes widened at the mention of Tommy’s name as they both looked at each other, “Thomas… As in a rich looking guy with dirty blonde hair and always wears polo shirts?” the brunette girl asked and I nodded. 

“Yeah… that’s him.” I said and they started to laugh hysterically, “OH GOD! THAT DUNCE!” The blond one slapped the other girl's shoulder as they both howled with laughter. 

I just stood there, waiting for them to finish their laughing fit.

They both calmed down and the blond girl offered me her hand with a grin, “Name’s Sheri Hoffman, nice to meet you. And this is Lisa Carter, ``she said with a warm smile.

“Nice to meet you both, I’m Y/n L/n… And let me just get out my schedule and maybe you can help me.” Y/n said as she pulled out her class schedule and gave it to Sheri and Lisa. 

“Well, Y/n, you're in luck because you share all your classes with us… And with that brat Tommy…” Lisa said and Sheri nodded with a frown.

“How do you even know each other?” Sheri asked as she fixed her blond hair. 

“We’re actually new neighbors.” Y/n said and Sheri and Lisa looked at each other with beliverment.

“You know what? I need a chair to sit down because of this… Let’s get going to class.” Sheri said and all three of them headed to their first class. 

‘I can’t believe I already made friends! Bingo!’ I thought in excitement as I followed Sheri and Lisa. 

*time skip, the end of school*

Well, the classes went on fine, nothing new, except that Tommy had to butt into everyone's sentence and finish it for them. Good God, does that guy ever shut up? 

Sheri and Lisa went home through the back entrance, since they had their own rides home. And we exchanged our numbers so we can stay in contact.

As I was walking down the bustling hallway I noticed more eyes looking at me. 

Gee, did these Rydell High kids never learn that it was rude to stare at somebody?

But I ignored it, since I didn’t want to have any conflict happen on my first day of school. 

As I walked out I was met with students laughing at something. As I fought my way through the crowd and started to walk towards my car, I noticed at what everyone as laughing at, 

My new vandalized car.  

I gasped at the horrendous sight as I rushed to my Ford Mustang and observed the damage. It had scratches all over the windows and it was spray painted on the doors. 

I looked around myself and the laughing crowd disappeared.

“Cowards…” I muttered bitterly as I crouched down and tried to wipe some spray paint off the car. I spent 20 minutes doing so but I was slowly starting to lose my nerves. 

Tommy already went home, and so did Sheri and Lisa…. And I certainly couldn’t show up home with my car looking like this. 

I started to wipe down the spray paint more aggressively, but nothing was coming off. As 10 minutes passed, the school's parking lot was almost empty and the school was now closed. 

I sat onto the curb of the sidewalk and put my elbows on my knees and put my chin on my palms, thinking of a way to explain this to my parents. 

All of a sudden a shadow was cast over me and I looked up, only to be met with a guy with black hair. 

“Uh… Hello?” I asked the guy, a bit dejected. He didn’t say anything to me and looked at my vandalized car.

I looked at him with an raised eyebrow as he walked closer to the dark blue Ford Mustang and scoffed. 

“Those bastards really outdid themselves…” he muttered out and I nodded my head, “Yeah, they created a true masterpiece.” I replied sarcastically. I took a closer look at him and noted his appearance. 

He was tall, taller than Tommy, had jet black hair that was greased up but had a bang falling over his forehead, aquamarine colored eyes and was wearing dark blue jeans with a white shirt and a notable black leather jacket. 

A sudden flashback flew over my head as I remember Tommy describing those ‘hooligans’ when I was at his house for dinner with my family. 

‘Was he the one who did this and was just trying to cover it up?’ my mind raced with various options, but should I really trust Tommy’s word after Sheri and Lisa told me everything they knew about him?

Why do I have to choose such things in such stressful situations!?

“Well… Are you going to just look at it or what?” I asked the guy with irritation as I got up and dusted off my skirt.

He glanced at me and raised an eyebrow, “Good grief, you’re that new girl in the school, aren't you?” he asked all of a sudden, completely ignoring my question. 

I nodded my head, not having any energy to argue, “Yeah, I am. Why do you ask?” I asked him.

“Because you apparently smell like chicken food, and- they were partly right. But they didn’t include you having this Ford Mustang.” the guy said as he motioned to my vandalized car. 

“I SMELL LIKE CHICKEN FOOD ? WHO TOLD YOU THAT!?” I raged as my face flushed in embarrassment. How is that even possible? I put on a ton of perfume and what not shit I found in the bathroom. 

The guy looked at me, unfazed by my yelling and shrugged his shoulders, “It was a group of some girls walking by me and thinking I was listening to them or something. You already got yourself a reputation, chicken girl.” the guy said and I fought my urge to kick him and smash his head against the curb.

“Did you just… call me… Chicken girl?” I asked in disbelief. What is with these Rydell High kids? 

“I did.” The guy simply replied. I groaned internally and clenched my fist. “Okay, oil grease, do you know any mechanics near here so I can get my fucking car fixed?” I asked as I crossed my arms. 

The guy rolled his eyes and ran a hand through his greased up hair, “I do… And that’s me.” he said. My expression fell as the words hit my ear. 

Really? Was this some kind of joke? 

“You're joking, right? How much did Tommy pay you?” I asked the guy.

“That fuck face didn’t pay me anthing, and I’m telling the truth. I can fix your car until midnight.” he said and I looked at him, unconvinced. 

Should I trust him? What if he wants to kidnap me? But my thoughts wandered off to my raging parents and I made up my mind.

I’m going to trust this grease oil guy. 

“Fine by me, where is your car repair shop then?” I asked him as I unlocked my car and got in the driver's seat. Thank God they didn’t scratch out this glass.

“Well, what are you waiting for, grease boy? Get in.” I said, motioning for him to get in. 

“No, you get out. You’ll get lost.” he said and I rolled my eyes, “And how do you know that?” I asked him, not moving from my seat.

“Good grief, you’re making this more difficult than it has to be.” He muttered out as he grabbed me by my arms, got me out of the car and sat down. 

I opened my mouth but I stopped myself as I saw him adjust his seat and turn on the car.

“You know what? I’m not even going to argue.” I scoffed as I got into the front passenger's seat next to him and crossed my arms. 

“Well then? Aren’t you going to start to drive?” I asked him, still salty, about what he did a few moments ago. “I will, but drop the attitude, chicken girl.” he said and I gave him a glare.

“For your information, my name’s Y/n L/n and not chicken girl, you kind of mispronounced it.” I replied to him as he began to drive from the school.

“Well, I’m Jotaro Kujo, and not oil grease.” he retorted back with sass. 

‘Jotaro Kujo, you say? Interesting… tomorrow I’m going to ask Sheri and Lisa about him…’ I thought as I noticed the scene change.

From nice buildings, restaurants and many more, we came to what seemed a poorer side of Winfielt. Or ‘the East side’ as Tommy referred to it.

Jotaro noticed me looking around, well as much as I could, because of the scratch out side windows. 

“Yeah, this is the East side. I think that somebody already told you about us?” Jotaro asked with a slight frown.

“What do you mean, ‘us’? I asked him. “By ‘us’ I mean the greasers, the people who live in the East side.” he answered, well more like scoffed. 

“Greasers? Is that because of your greasy hair?” I joked and Jotaro only glanced at me, warning me to shut up. Damn, he doesn’t even joke…

For ten more minutes we spent riding in awkward silence across the East side with my vandalized car until I noticed a car repair shop nearing us. 

“Is that it?” I asked with hope. “It is, now get out.” he motioned for me to get out and I quickly exited my car. 

I opened my mouth to ask him something but a group of four similarly dressed guys excited through open garage doors and greeted Jotaro with smirks.

They even had similar hair styles, but they all had matching light blue vests with their name tags, probably the car repair shop uniform.

“Jotaro! Where were you- HOLLY SHIT! The fuck happened to this beauty?!” One brunette guy fell onto his knees as he touched my car. He still didn’t notice until he looked up and met my gaze. 

He tapped Jotaro on the shoulder and everyone quieted down as they looked at me with judgemental looks.

“... And who’s she? She’s one of your fangirls? You know what we think about that.” the same guy said as he quickly scrambled off the ground and dusted his jeans on. 

“No, she isn’t, and that's her car that got vandalized today. She just came with me to wait for the whole repair to finish and go back home.” Jotaro said briefly and got back into the car and drove it into the garage. 

The four guys looked at me strangely, and all of a sudden the shortest, and probably the youngest, walked in front of me and stretched out his hand.

“I’m Danny. Nice to meet you.” he said as he swept up his dirty blond hair away from his face. 

“Nice to meet you Danny. I’m Y/n.” I said as I shook his hand gently. “This is my older brother Dean-” he motioned to a basically older version of himself and Dean only winked in my direction. 

I politely waved, not saying anything. “Then, the smoke addict Michael, and next to him, the red head, is called Kakyoin.” Danny pointed to the two last guys.

And as of cue, Michael lit up his cigarette and pointed the lighter towards Danny, “Call me that again and I’ll use you as an ashtray, ‘kay?” he threatened and Danny laughed. 

“Whatever you say, chimney man.” Danny replied and Michale scoffed as he swept up his dark brown hair.

Kakyoin rolled his eyes and went to me, “I think you should go inside, you know- to see your car getting repaired.” He made up an excuse as he pulled me inside the car repair shop.

I saw Jotaro wiping down the spray paint with some kind of chemical as its smell spread through the whole workshop.

“This is going to take a while as Jotaro likes to nitpick and shit… And you’re in luck, we have some car glasses for your car.” Kakyoin said as he motioned me to sit down on a plastic chair by a small table. 

“Do you know how to play poker?” Kakyoin asked as he pulled out a pack of cards.

I nodded with a smirk, “Oh, you bet I do. I was the best in Daleville.” I said with pride in my voice. 

“We’ll see about that one.” Kakyoin laughed as we began to play and the others pilled in to watch us play poker while Jotaro worked on my car. 

“Wait wait wait, shouldn’t you be helping him or something?” I asked as I noticed the rest of the crew still watching us play, including Kakyoin. The guys looked at each other and scrambled to help Jotaro. 

I laughed to myself as I looked at them flying around the workshop to get the necessary parts. 

After a few hours passed I dozed off as I was sitting on the plastic chair with cars still in my hands. But I was awakened by the light shaking of my arm and I looked up only to see Kakyoin. 

“Hey, Jotaro finished repairing your Mustang and we were planning on going to a diner now. After you pay him the price, say that we left to go to Frankie’s, he knows where that is.” Kakyoin said and I nodded my head as I got up. 

The guys left and it was now only me and Jotaro in the workshop. 

I walked over to Jotaro only to see my car, repaired and polished. It looked like it didn’t even leave my driveway. 

“I… Thank you, Jotaro. You helped me out a bunch.” I thanked him and Jotaro only nodded.

“... No problem, and that would be… 5,000 $.” Jotaro said and I sweated a bit. My dumb ass forgot to bring any money with me today, not even a ten dollar bill. 

Jotaro turned to look at me with a raised eyebrow, “Good grief… don’t tell me you don’t have the money?” he groaned out and I rubbed the nape of my neck in embarrassment.

“I don’t have it… But I can give it to you tomorrow after school?” I suggested and Jotaro looked at me unconvinced. 

“And how do I know you will do that? I don’t like people who lie.” Jotaro said in a low tone and chills went down my spine. ‘Okay this guy is seriously scary…’ I thought as I gulped.  

“Well, you’ll just have to trust me…” I laughed awkwardly as he put the car keys into my hand and scoffed, leaving a black smear on my palm.

“Alright, I expect to see that five grand by tomorrow after school. Good luck on getting it.” Jotaro said and I nodded my head, “Don’t worry about it! It will be a piece of cake!” I said as I got in my car and started the engine.

I pulled out of the workshop and started to drive in the exact direction I remembered Jotaro driving and once I finally reached my neighborhood I noticed mom and dad standing by the doors. 

I parked my car in the driveway and got out and took out my school bag. 

“Hi mom… Hi dad…” I said as Iwaved at them with an embarrassed expression. Mom rushed to me and started to ask me all sorts of detailed questions.

“Mom- MOM! Calm down! I took two of my new friends for a drive around the town and they were showing me around.” I lied to them and both of them looked at each other and nodded. 

“Oh- Thank goodness that you’re okay… Imagine if those greasers kidnaped you or something!” Dad exclaimed and I laughed with him in agreement.

“Yup! But oh well, I’m kind of tired and I need to go greet Bucky.” I excused myself and ran inside. 

I walked into the backyard and Bucky went rushing to me and whining. “I know Bucky… I missed you too…” I cooed to him and he barked back. I heard distant hissing and looked at the fence, and it showed Princess hissing at Bucky. 

“Good God, really? You know what, Bucky! Go get her!” I exclaimed and Bucky didn’t even get to bark once because Princess jumped inside her yard and hid.

I laughed and gave Bucky his fresh food and water and went inside and ate dinner and told my parents about my whole day. 

Expect the part where my car got vandalized, of course. 

I got ready to sleep after putting all the books I needed for tomorrow and laid down on my bed. The scenes from the car shop still playing in my head.

But most importantly, how in the fuck do I plan on getting those five grand by tomorrow morning!?

I closed my eyes and forced myself to dream of picking up money from a tree. Maybe this will somehow work out… 

It was just another spring afternoon on a Saturday, in a small countryside named Daleville. 

Daleville was a pretty rural town with many family owned businesses and farms. And one of them was the poultry farm owned by the L/n family. The farm was passed down by the generations, and it was thriving. 

But, two years ago in 1967., a highway was built a kilometer away from Daleville, connecting it to more cities.

For the first year, the residents of Daleville were ecstatic about the new highway since it meant a better connection to the other markets.

But time passed and the year 1969. came, and so did the more traffic. This stressed out the animals and polluted the environment of Daleville. The residents complained to the mayor but he did nothing. 

This caused the residents of Daleville to slowly start moving out and find jobs in other towns. The L/n family tried to save their farm by selling the chickens, ducks and geeses, which only lasted until 1969. When  all they had left were ten chickens…

And this was the sign that they needed to move out of Daleville…

“N/n! Come help me move the luggage!”

The h/c haired girl sighed as she stopped in her tracks with a chicken in her arms, “I’m coming dad! I just need to place the last hen in their coop!” she exclaimed as she walked to the wooden coop.

“There you go, Clover.” Y/n muttered as she placed the brown hen on the ground, counted all the other hens and  the coop after closing it.

She walked to the old red pickup truck with lots of bags and cardboard boxes.

“The buyer will arrive soon to collect the hens and after that's done, we can go.” F/n said with a sigh as he dusted off his jeans.

Y/n nodded her head motionesly, “Alright, I’ll go say goodbye to my friends.” she said as she walked off her family property and started to walk down the road until she reached another house. 

She looked around and noticed a ginger haired girl walking out on her porch. “Vickie! Vickie!” Y/n shouted as she rushed into the huge yard and onto Vickie’s porch.

“Y/n! Woah! Calm down!” Vickie grabbed her shoulders and looked Y/n in her eyes. 

“... You came to say goodbye?” Vickie muttered as she let go of Y/n’s shoulders and looked at the ground. Y/n sighed and nodded her head slowly, “Yeah, I did.” she replied shortly. 

All of a sudden Vickie hugged Y/n, to which she hugged Vickie even tighter.

“I’m sorry, Vick-'' but Vickie interrupted her with a slight sob, “D-Don’t apologize N/n… It's not your fault.” the ginger haired girl murmured as she let go of Y/n. 

“I’ll miss you though… You better write me letters!” Vickie rubbed the stray tear away from her brown eyes and Y/n laughed.

“Of course I will! I’ll even find you a boyfriend.” she joked and Vickie blushed. 

“Good God no! Mom would kill me! Thank goodness she’s still on the farmers market…” Vickie sighed in relief and grabbed Y/n’s hand.

"While we’re at that- She baked some cookies this morning! If you have time you can stay here and try them! She used some kind of new recipe…” Vickie laughed and Y/n nodded her head. 

They went inside Vickie’s house and entered the kitchen where Vickie gave Y/n a plate full of cookies.

They ate them and decided to play with her barn cat, Jasper. After about one hour, Y/n had to head back to her home. 

“I really have to go now, Vick.” Y/n muttered sadly as they walked to the entrance of Vickie’s yard.

Vickie nodded her head and for the last time hugged Y/n, “Don’t get in any trouble there, okay?” she asked jokingly to which Y/n laughed. 

“I’ll try not to… I’ll write to you soon Vickie! Goodbye!” Y/n released Vickie and dashed onto the gravel road and ran back to her home.

After a few minutes she noticed her family standing near the red pickup truck, waiting for her. 

F/n smiled at his daughter and motioned to the back of the pickup where a furry head popped out. “Someone was impatient to see you.” he laughed as the black and white border collie barked in excitement. 

“Bucky! Ready to go?” Y/n cooed to the dog as she went to pet his head. She adjusted his red collar with his name tag on it and motioned for him to  jump down.

“Good boy!” Y/n cheered and looked at her parents who started to get into the pickup truck. 

“Let’s go in.” Y/n said as she opened the doors of the back of the car and let Bucky in first and then got in. “Is everybody ready?” F/n asked and Y/n and M/n nodded their heads and Bucky barked. 

F/n started the car and they started to drive out of the now empty and silent property.

Y/n let Bucky rest his head in her lap, sensing her sadness to which she lightly smiled as she started to pet him. 

Her father turned on the radio in hopes to cheer up the atmosphere but as he looked at the rearview mirror, Y/n’s expression was still sad. 

“Sweetie, I know Daleville meant so much to you, and it meant a lot to us too… But you have to look on the bright side of everything! Winfield is an amazing town with far more stuff than we had here in Daleville… Besides, me and your mother met the new neighbors and they are extremely nice! I’m not saying you shouldn’t be feeling sorrowful about all of this, but do try to give Winfield a chance, okay?” F/n said and Y/n looked at him. 

“I’ll try to… But tell me more about the neighbors- Oh! And what about the high school you told me you enrolled me in?” Y/n asked and M/n started to explain everything. 

And so they drove five and half hours to the town of Winfield…

They entered the town and Y/n looked around, gaping at the sight. There were neon signs (and since it was evening they were lit up), countless diners and shopping malls. This was a complete opposite to Daleville. 

“And? What do you think?” M/n asked as she smiled at Y/n. The h/c haired girl closed her mouth and grinned at her mother, “It looks so lavish! When I’m going to send letters to Vickie she’s gonna be so jealous!” she chuckled and Bucky happily wagged his tail as he too looked out the window. 

F/n laughed as they drove through the busy road of Winfield. After a few minutes the music, the chater, the lights died out and a peaceful ambience set in. 

They drove past huge houses and some of them even had pools. They stopped in front of a medium two-story house with a garage and huge backyard.

On the left side was a house similar to theirs and on the right side was a much bigger house with a giant pool and what not. 

“On the right are the neighbors I’ve told you about and after we move all the boxes in, we’re going to have dinner with them!” M/n gushed as she got out of the car and began to take out the boxes and other luggage. 

Y/n looked at the huge three-story house of their new neighbors as she and Bucky got out of the pickup truck. 

“Dear! You can take your boxes and bags and I’ll show you your room!” M/n exclaimed as she opened the doors of the house and turned on the lights.

“Alright! I’m coming.” Y/n said as she went to the back of the pickup truck and opened the tailgate and took out her suitcase and a small box. 

She walked down the stone pathway and into her new house. It was much bigger than the house she had in Daleville…. 

“Upstairs is one big bathroom, our bedroom, your bedroom and a guest room. Down here we have the kitchen, another bathroom, living room and pantry room. You can go upstairs and look at your new room! Thank God the house came fully furnished…” M/n sighed as she put down some boxes she was holding.

Y/n nodded her head and walked upstairs and saw four doors, two on each side. She opened the first revealing a huge room with a king sized bed. This must be her parents room. Next to it was the bathroom. 

Which left her with two other rooms. She opened the doors revealing a dull colored room with white walls and mostly white furniture. Maybe this was her room?

Y/n decided to check out the last room which revealed the similar room but with a much bigger bed and bigger closet. 

This must be her room! 

As she was about to look around, shouting of her mother echoed around the house. 

“Y/n! Come downstairs immediately!” M/n shouted and Y/n rushed down the stairs. “What is it mom-” Y/n went to say but was interrupted by noticing a boy her age and what seemed to be his mother standing in their doorway. 

Y/n looked at her mom with a confused expression as she went to stand next to her. 

“As I was saying, Dianne, this is my only daughter Y/n!” M/n motioned for Y/n to greet the boy and the lady.

“Hello.” Y/n simply waved and the woman, now known as Dianne, laughed. 

“Oh, Tommy dear, she’s so shy! There's no need to be shy around us munchkins! And here you go, fresh cookies I baked for your family's welcome gift.” Dianne smiled warmly as she walked inside and handed Y/n the plate covered in tinfoil to which she smiled and thanked Dianne. 

She took a better look at both of them and noted their appearance. Rich and posh. 

Dianne was wearing a brown knee length pencil skirt, a cream blouse with brown flats. While her Tommy dear , was wearing black pants with a blue polo shirt and a silver wrist watch.

They both had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, though Tommy’s hair was slicked back and his mothers was done in updo. 

“Well, why don’t we head to our house for dinner?” Dianne said and M/n nodded, “Of course! Tommy and Y/n, you can go, me and Dianne have to talk about something.” M/n said as she motioned for them to walk out. 

Y/n glanced at Tommy who only smiled politely and stepped out of the doorway and onto the porch, “Ready to go?” he asked sweetly. Y/n nodded hesitantly as she followed suit.

“So… I heard from my mother that you got enrolled into Rydell High School and into my class.” Tommy began to say as they walked over to his house. 

“Yeah, I’m starting on monday… Can you tell me more about the school?” Y/n asked as they walked down the stone pathway and reached his doors.

“Of course, but first, call me Thomas… I hate when people call me Tommy. It makes me seem like I am a child or something.” Tommy rolled his eyes as they entered his huge house. 

“So, Tommy… isn’t your real name?” Y/n asked in confusion and Tommy looked down at her, “It is, but as I said, it sounds like you’re referring to a child and not me. So stick with Thomas.” he said as he stopped. 

Tommy, or as he preferred, Thomas , smirked at Y/n and showed her the huge living room and dining room.

“It’s pretty spacious I must say… Did you have a similar house like you have now at… what is it called? Davevill? Danvill?” Tommy asked and Y/n slightly frowned. 

“It's called Daleville, and no, I didn’t. But can we go back on track? I really need to know more about Rydell High…” Y/n said but before Tommy could respond a distant hissing could be heard, coming from the white couch in the living room. 

“Uh… Thomas? What was that-” Y/n asked and Tommy smiled, “Oh! That’s my cat, Princess. She doesn’t like new people…” he laughed as he walked to the couch and picked up the hissing feline. 

The blue-eyed feline glared at Y/n as she swished her fluffy tail in Tommy’s arms. “She’s such a sweetheart isn’t she…” Tommy cooed as he pet Princess’ head.

“She really looks like one…” Y/m mumbled anxiously as she noticed the cat's diamond collar. [Princess’ look reference, with the collar https://imgur.com/a/3PNSUCi ]

“I hope you don’t own a dog or something, because my dear baby absolutely hates mutts.” Tommy said and Y/n sweated nervously.

“About that…” she laughed awkwardly and Tommy glanced at her with furrowed eyebrows. 

“Oh God… Please keep that dog of yours inside or something…” Tommy said as she put Princess onto the floor and she hissed at Y/n and ran off.

“Bucky is a poultry guard dog, so he always stays outside, I mean if you want to buy him a new dog house, I’ll gladly let you.” Y/n laughed and Tommy rolled his eyes. 

“Whatever, dinner will be ready in a minute and I think our fathers are outside talking about… whatever they are. Let's get back to the topic of school.” Tommy said as he motioned for Y/n to sit at the set up dining table opposite of him. 

Tommy adjusted the collar of his polo shirt and cleared his throat, “You see, in Rydell High, we have these… how do I word it… groups. Us from the West side, and the hooligans from the poorer East side. They vandalize, mug, steel- you get the point. I advise you to not associate with them under any circumstances.” Tommy said and Y/n looked at him weirdly. 

“Really? And how do I… recognize them?” Y/n asked, still weirded out by Tommy’s statement.

Tommy scoffed, “They wear those stupid leather jackets and their hair greased up. They smell like car oil mixed with cigarette ash. You’ll notice them from a mile away.” he said while rolling his eyes. 

Y/n just nodded her head, not knowing what to say. Such a divide didn’t exist in Daleville and thankfully so…

Tommy’s expression changed to a grinning one as he looked at Y/n, “But no need to worry about those delinquents, because I’ll be showing you around Rydell High on Monday. I’ll be waiting for you at the school entrance at 7:30 a.m. Alright?”  he said and Y/n was quiet for a few moments until she nodded slowly. 

“Okay… I know where it is since I saw it on my way to my house.” Y/n said and Tommy nodded his head.

“I think you’ll fit in absolutely perfectly… Just drop those jeans and beat up sneakers.” Tommy muttered as he pointed to Y/n slightly bleached out jeans and old worn out sneakers. 

Y/n gave a dirty look to Tommy but was interrupted by their families entering the house, so she put on a polite smile. 

They talked and ate the food and after they finished the L/n’s bid their goodbye to their new neighbors and went back to their new house. 

Once they finally moved all the boxes and bags inside, Y/n put fresh water and food into Bucky’s bowls in the spacious backyard and went back to her room. 

She put her desk lamp on her desk, plugged it in and turned it on, giving her room a soft glow. The desk lamp was the last thing she needed to unpack from her stuff and she sighed tiredly. 

“Time to get ready for sleep.” Y/n muttered out as she took a set of pajamas with her to the bathroom and got ready.

She went back to her room and jumped on her bed, so she was facing the ceiling. 

‘I already miss Daleville… But I guess I need to listen to dad and give this town a chance… And if that fuckface Tommy tries to say something rude… I’ll punch his teeth out…’ Y/n thoughts drifted off as she fell asleep on her new bed. 

*The next morning, 3rd p.o.v, Jotaro*

“Damn Jotaro… You look- tired .” Michael commented as he looked at Jotaro as they walked to school. Jotaro only grumbled under his breath and continued walking.

He had slightly darker eyebags and overall he looked like he could use a few more hours of sleep. 

“Awww- Did you stay up all night thinking about what corsage to buy Y/n for the prom?” asked Dean and everyone laughed. Jotaro sighed, “Good grief, can you two shut up for once?” he snapped. 

Kakyoin lightly swatted Jotaro on his shoulder, “Come on now, JoJo… No need to be all fussy.” he smiled at Jotaro who only nodded his head. 

Jotaro sighed and they continued to walk to school. Once they arrived they noticed a small stand with flower corsages on display.

Michael bumped Jotaro with his elbow as he motioned to the corsage stand. 

“Hey, look! Let’s check out the stand!” Michael laughed and Jotaro shook his head, “I’m not going there.” He said firmly and crossed his arms. Kakyoin looked at Dean and Michael and they all nodded their heads and smirked. 

They got behind Jotaro and pushed him forwards with all their strength and once they arrived at the stand they stopped.

Behind the stand was Bonnie, and once she noticed Jotaro her smile grew a thousand times bigger. 

“Hi there, JoJo! How can I help you?” she asked as she swept away her black hair. Jotaro took a deep breath as he took a look at the various flower corsages that were displayed. There were so many combinations and colors his head started to spin. 

Kakyoin, noticing Jotaro’s distressed expression, decided to step in, “He’ll take the f/c one.” he said as he motioned at the one corsage and Bonnie raised an eyebrow at him.

“I didn’t remember asking you, Kakyoin.” she sneered at Kakyoin and he scoffed. 

“We frankly don’t care, Bonnie. Now give him the damn corsage.” Dean said and she huffed, “What are you, his advocates? Let Jojo speak for himself.” Bonnie replied as she smiled at him. 

Michael pitched Jotaro’s arm and coughed, “Come on man, don’t embarrass us in front of this bitch…” he muttered to Jotaro.

He cleared his throat as he pointed to the same corsage that Kakyoin pointed at. 

“Give me this one.” he said and Bonnie tightly smiled. “F/c…?Could have chosen a better color… ” she murmured under her breath as she picked up the f/c colored corsage and put it in a small white paper bag. 

“That’ll be 10 dollars. Discount for my date of course.” Bonnie giggled as she opened a small metal box with her key that had money in it. Jotaro pulled out a wrinkled up 10 dollar bill alongside a 5 dollar bill. 

“Here.” Jotaro said as he handed her the money and she only took the 10 dollar bill and gave him the small white bag.

“Let’s go.” Jotaro said, not giving Bonnie a second glance. “Bye JoJo!” Bonnie waved goodbye as she laughed. 

“Are we not going to comment on what Bonnie said to Jotaro?” Dean asked as he looked at everyone as they walked inside the school.

“Yeah, she hinted she wants him to be her date to the prom but we all know that won’t be possible.” Kakyoin answered as he laughed. 

Jotaro slightly blushed at his sentence as he glanced at the white paper bag in his hands before he lightly put it in the pocket of his leather jacket and entered his classroom. 

“So, when will you ask Y/n to be your date to the prom? I heard Tommy was hot on her trail.” Michael said from Jotaro’s left side and Jotaro scoffed as he sat down on his chair, “Probably next week, and as for Tommy, he can try, but I doubt it will be successful.” he said as he smiled a little. 

“...You know something we don’t, Jotaro, and I don't like that.” Dean said from behind Jotaro and Kakyoin laughed from his right side, “This is going to be fun.” he whispered as he noticed the professor came in and greeted the class. 

*Time skip after school*

Y/n bid goodbye’s to Sheri and Lisa as she exited the school dressed up in her waitress uniform and got in her car. 

Tommy was secretly following her in his second car. 

He was already getting suspicious after she rejected his offer to go with her to work, and he knew something was going on with her. So, he decided to follow her today to her work.

“What could she be hiding…?” he asked himself as the surroundings of the West side disappeared and the ones of the East side appeared.

“What kind of short cut to the cinema is this…?” Tommy asked as he knew there was no way that there was a road to the cinema here. 

After a few minutes, he saw Y/n stop at some kind of old diner named Frankie’s. She exited her car and quickly rushed in. And Tommy, who was parked a bit down the street, stared at the scene with his mouth hung open. 

In sheer rage, he gripped his steering wheel with both hands and closed his eyes.

“This is all one bad dream… This is all a bad fucking dream…” he repeated a few times as he felt his heart rage with anger. 

After everything he’s done for her? This is how she repays him? By literally working at the place where his number one enemy hangs out almost every day?

He quickly turned his car away and speeded away back to his home. As he got back to his house he took out his school bag and rushed inside. He didn’t bother greeting his parents and got up and locked himself into his room. 

He took out the prom flier and gripped it with his hands.

“I have to make her see what she’s doing… She can’t be hanging around that bastard Kujo.” Tommy spat out with jealousy as he threw the pieces of the flier onto the ground and sat on his chair. 

Well… If Y/n didn’t want to listen before, he will have to make her listen now…

*1st p.o.v, Y/n*

After my shift finished and I drove home, I was quite literally exhausted. Back there I dressed back into my school clothes and put my uniform back into my bag.

As I was parking my car, I noticed Tommy playing with Princess in his front yard. 

As he noticed me he shooed away his cat and smiled. I got out of my car and slightly waved at him.

“Y/n, hey! I was thinking, would you like to take a ride with my car?” he asked and I politely shook my head. 

“I’m sorry, Thomas.. But I’m really exhausted…” I sighed but Tommy waved his hands, “Oh come on! It will be exciting! I want to show you something!” he exclaimed excitedly as his dirty blonde hair shone in the moonlight. 

“Can it wait till tomorrow?” I asked and he shook his head, “Nope- Now let’s go.” Tommy said as he dragged me to his car and motioned me to get in.

“Alright… Have it your way…” I sighed in defeat and he began to drive. 

We drove out of our neighborhood and out of Winfield as I noticed that the bustling city lights disappeared and revealed a much less lit countryside.

“Can I at least know where we are going?” I asked as I looked through the window. 

Tommy laughed, “Of course! It’s a spot I like to visit from time to time, and I wanted to share that with you.” he said and I nodded my head with a small hum.

After a few minutes, we arrived at a hill that overlooked the whole Winfield. 

After a few minutes Tommy stopped the car and turned it off as he sighed. 

“I think you already know why I wanted to talk to you alone.” Tommy said and I raised an eyebrow at him with a confused expression, “...I don’t.” I replied and he laughed. 

“Let’s stop beating around the bush, Y/n. I want you to be my prom date.” Tommy said as he looked ahead and my blood froze.

“I…” I tried to say something, anything but I couldn’t. He completely caught me off guard. 

Tommy glanced at me, “I know it’s just so all of a sudden, but I would like you to answer now.” he said.

I gulped down, knowing I had to turn him down… since he wasn’t the one I wanted to go to prom with. 

“I’m so sorry Thomas… But I have to decline your offer.” I said slowly and I noticed his knuckled whitening as he gripped the steering wheel.

Tommy began to laugh, but not a sincere laugh, but a fake and forced one. 

“...I knew you were going to say that, N/n. Let’s try again, shall we?” he asked as he stopped laughing and I looked at him worried, “Try again? Thomas I said I don’t want to be your prom date.” I said firmly. 

What has gotten into him? 

He bit his lip as he turned his head to me, “Why? Why don’t you want me to be your date?” he asked me and I just stared at him.

“Well? I’m waiting.” he said as he let go off the steering wheel and placed his hands in his lap. 

“...I just don’t want to go to prom with you, it isn’t that deep Thomas.” I said to him, as I tried to maintain my composure. He was really starting to scare me. 

“Not that deep, huh…. Let’s ask your dear Jotaro then?” Tommy asked me with a smirk on his face and my expression paled at the mention of his name.

“J-Jotaro? Tommy, what does he have to do with this?” I choked out. 

“What does he have to do with this? Awfully a lot, surprisingly.” Tommy said as he tsked. I only stayed quiet as my heart began to pace at a much faster rate. 

“I don’t get you, Y/n… What does that piece of shit have that I don’t? He skips school, fights every day and, let’s not continue the list. Don’t think I didn’t catch your little lies Y/n.” he said and I could open my mouth to say something but nothing came up. 

He clicked a small button, locking the car doors, “You’re not going anywhere until you accept my offer.” he sneered and my eyes widened. “I said no Tommy, accept that.” I spat back and he grabbed my wrist, pulling me closer. 

“Listen, maybe I wasn't clear the first time, doll… I want you to my date to prom. Since the first day you came here I became infatuated with you. Your fiery personality and playing hard to get. I will not let some scumbag Kujo take you away from me.” he growled and I stared at him, completely flabbergasted. 

“... I’m not going to be your prom date, Tommy.” I hissed and he tightened his grip on my wrist.

“Wrong answer Y/n. I thought you were much smarter than this. But if you want to play this game, let’s play it. ” he snarled. 

“Alright, let’s set a little deal, shall we?” Tommy asked as he finally released my wrist and I could feel the bruise forming on it. I slightly nodded my head, just now I could feel the rage bubbling inside of me. 

“I’m going to ask you to be my prom date once again, and if you say no… I might have to make some repercussions. But if you say yes, nobody gets harmed.” he said and I gave him a puzzled look. 

“What do you mean by that?” I asked him in worry. “Well, if you say no… I’m personally going to make sure Jotaro ends up behind bars, somewhere he should’ve been a long time ago. I can easily accuse him of anything I can think of. And who do you think will the Winfield police trust more, me? Or that lowlife delinquent?”

My eyes widened and I gasped, “You wouldn’t dare to do that just because I said no to you?” I asked him in disbelief.

“No no no, that's not all, doll. You know your father works for mine, right? I can easily come inside my fathers office and request him to fire him. And you wouldn’t want him to lose something he worked so much for, right?” he asked with pity in his voice. 

I stayed quiet as I tried to take in everything Tommy had said. My heart was pounding so hard and fast I thought it would jump out of my chest. 

I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of winning, but at the same time I couldn’t risk Jotaro being sentenced to jail and my dad losing his job over this maniac. 

“... If I say yes, you won’t do anything to Jotaro and dad?” I asked Tommy and nodded his head with a smile, “Exactly, doll! I knew you would catch on quick!” he laughed as he ran his hand through his hair. 

“Even though I am still deeply betrayed by what you did to me… I still gave you an option.” Tommy said and I only stared at him, still not believing what was happening. 

“Well, if that’s settled, let’s continue... Tomorrow, at lunch break, I will ask you to prom in front of everybody, you know, to make things official. And you know who will see that? Your dear Jotaro and his friends. You will say yes, since you know what will happen if you don’t. I can already picture his cold heart shattering in a million pieces as you agree to my proposal.” Tommy laughed as he turned on the car and began to drive home. 

“You are sick, Tommy.” I choked out as I scooted away from him. I fought off the tears that were forming in my eyes as I felt his eyes on me.

“I know, doll… I know…” he muttered and continued to drive home. 

Once we arrived back into our neighborhood he parked his car in his driveway, but he didn’t unlock the doors.

“Unlock the doors, Tommy.” I said as I tried to calm myself down. 

“Here you go, and have a good night! But don’t slip a word about this to anybody because I don’t think you want to suffer much greater consequences…” Tommy threatened and I just nodded my head and jumped out of the car and rushed inside my house, and thankfully everyone was asleep. 

I rushed to my room and slammed the doors shut. I jumped on my bed and started to sob. Was it out of rage or sadness, I didn’t care. My heart pounded as I continued to cry in my pillow. 

My heart aced at the thought of Jotaro having to see me accept Tommy’s offer to be his prom date.

But Tommy was right, I cared too much about him to say no to his proposal which made me fum with rage. 

If I could I would have run him over with my car so much that his own mother won’t recognise his body. 

And as the all so quiet night continued, I hopelessly wept into my pillow… Why do the worst things always happen to me…?

*Time skip to tomorrow at lunch break*

The whole day I didn’t utter a word, I only stayed in my seat and took some notes. Lisa and Sheri tried to talk to me, but I told them I just wasn’t in the mood for talking today. 

We quietly ate our food and I looked across the yard only to meet eyes with Jotaro who quickly averted his gaze from mine and his friends began to laugh as they noticed a slight blush starting to creep on his neck. 

I smiled slightly and just for a moment, I thought things would get a bit better.

All of a sudden, everything quieted down and I noticed everyone looking at the entrance of the school yard. 

And of course, it had to be Tommy with a bouquet in his hands and a colorful corsage and a box in his hands strutting over to our table. 

“Y/n L/n… Since the first day I saw you, I knew there was something special about you… My heart wasn’t at rest and I couldn't let this chance slip from my hands. So, will you go to prom with me?” he asked as he pushed the bouquet and the corsage towards me and I swallowed. 

Sheri and Lisa had opened their mouths as they looked at me in surprise. As did all the students in the school yard.

I glanced at Jotaro and his friends only to find them having the same expression and Sheri and Lisa. 

My eyes once again met with Jotaro’s and I could see them slightly glossing up as he stared at me in disbelief. If I have stared at him more, I think I could have felt his heart break sink. 

“I… I do.” I muttered under my breath as I felt my heart beating at a fast peace, and unfortunately not out of happiness or excitement.

After a few moments the whole yard started cheering, and Tommy laughed. 

“I knew you would say yes!” he cheered as he forcefully grabbed my hand and slipped on the corsage and put the bouquet on the table and kissed the back of my hand.

I only nodded my head as I whipped my hand down my skirt. 

“Well then, I’m really looking forward to seeing you in a beautiful dress. See you in class Y/n!” Tommy cheered as he walked away.

The students got back to what they were doing before and I glanced at Sheri and Lisa who were still unmoving. 

“Y/n… Pinch me to see if I’m dreaming.” Sheri muttered as she looked at me as if I was crazy. Which made sense since they didn’t know why I didn’t decline his offer.

“Holy shit… did he bribe you?” Lisa quietly asked and I nodded my head as I bit my lip slightly. 

“What will you do with Jotaro?” Sheri asked and I glanced at where he and his friends were sitting not a few minutes ago. But the place was empty. They probably went somewhere else. 

I sighed as I felt my heart break into pieces as I took off the corsage and stuffed it into my bag. I grabbed the bouquet and as nobody was looking, dumped it into trash.

If I couldn't win the war at least I won a small battle…

Lisa and Sheri got up and we walked to our classes. This over the top prom proposal ruined my whole day…

*Time skip to the end of school*

After I got dressed up in my uniform and bid my goodbyes to Sheri and Lisa, I went off to work. Surprisingly, neither Jotaro or his friends were there… Maybe it was for the better for now. 

And for the whole shift they didn’t show up. As I was serving the last customer, I noticed I had only a few moments left of my shift. Susan saw me looking at the clock and laughed.

“I see you’re in a hurry, dear. You can go home if you want. I will clean up.” she said and I nodded my head with a smile. 

“Alright, thank you!” I thanked her as I went to dress up in my other clothes and as I was going to exit through the back doors, I heard a bunch of male voices arguing.

I leaned my head against the doors so I could hear them better. 

“Listen, Jotaro! We didn’t know that she was going to say yes to Tommy! Besides, I felt something was off, like she didn’t want to say yes but she had to. If you only go and talk to her while she’s still inside you can ask her about it.” 

I recognised the voice of Kakyoin as he was talking to Jotaro. I sighed in relief as I knew Kakyoin suspected that something was off. 

“But she still said yes.” Jotaro firmly replied and Kakyoin groaned. “I know that, JoJo! I was right next to you! You can’t continue like this! If you care about her you will wait here and talk to her. If you don't, you're free to come back to work. Now excuse me, I have a car to repair back at the workshop.” Kakyoin said firmly, but he didn’t get a reply from Jotaro.

I waited for a few moments until Kakyoin walked away, leaving Jotaro completely alone in the alleyway.

My heart pounded against my chest as I felt my stomach churn in anxiety. 

Should I go out now or wait for him to walk away…?

I heard him sigh as he pulled out something like a paper bag? He threw it in the trash and I could hear him storm off.

I slowly opened the doors and walked out. I looked around and there wasn't a trace of Jotaro left. 

I heard him throw something in the trash… What could it be? I put a box next to the container and stepped on it.

Besides all the trash bags I noticed a small white paper bag lying on top of one of the trash bags and I picked it up and dusted it off. 

I got out of the box and opened it. I gasped in surprise as I took out a beautiful f/c corsage. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Was… this for me?

I shook my head as I put the corsage into my pocket and began to walk out of the alleyway and back to my car. I carefully put it on the passenger's seat as I began to drive back home. 

I had to make things right between me and Jotaro… but how?

*3rd p.o.v, Jotaro*

Jotaro walked down the street and back to his house. His heart was pounding with anger and sadness and he opened the doors and got in. Holly was thankfully sleeping in her room with her doors closed. 

He locked the doors and went into this room, As he got dressed into his pajamas he laid onto his bed and shakily sighed.

He never felt this much sadness, it was too overwhelming for him. 

Jotaro closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. ‘It isn’t fair… It isn’t fair.’ he repeated to himself as he felt a small tear roll down his cheek as he remembered he threw away the corsage in rage after the argument he had with Kakyoin. 

He got up and sat by his window. The moon illuminated his glossy eyes as he stared down the empty street.

He looked into the sky and sighed, why was the universe playing with his feelings while he himself couldn’t understand them. 

Why won’t anything go in his favor? He tried his best and then Tommy ruined everything. Jotaro sighed as he rested his head against the wall and closed his eyes. 

*1st p.o.v, Y/n*

This morning I woke up a bit earlier than I needed to, and as I tried to fall back asleep, sleep just wouldn’t come to me.

“Fucking hell- Maybe dad’s awake so I can talk to him…” I sighed as I got out of my bed, still in my pajamas. 

I really had to talk to them about Tommy, because he was getting out of hand. I had a feeling they would dismiss what I was going to say, but I still had some hope left. 

As I got downstairs I saw mom preparing food for dad as he was packing up his briefcase. “Hey mom! Hey dad!” I greeted them as I yawned, still a bit sleepy.

“Oh hey dear! What are you doing so early?” dad asked and I sighed.

“I don’t know, maybe stress from work…” I said and they laughed, “Welcome to the world of adults honey.” Dad laughed as he sipped coffee from his cup.

“I actually wanted to talk about Tommy with you two.” I said and mom’s eyes widened. 

“Why is that? Did something happen?” she asked in worry and I shook my head, “No, not really- He is just too pushy and doesn’t seem to get when I tell him I’m not interested.” I said and they both looked at each other with raised eyebrows. 

“Really? That doesn’t sound like him at all…” Mom said with a slightly concerned tone.

“Well, if that’s the case, keep your distance. Next time I see him I’m going to have a chat with him.” Dad said firmly. 

I nodded my head with a small smile, ‘They believe me!’ I cheered internally. One problem less I must say. 

“Why didn’t you tell us sooner?” Mom asked as she put food on my plate, “Well… I didn't know how you’d react since you seem to like him very much.” I said as I started to eat my food. 

“Come on, don’t be ridiculous! You can tell us anything and anytime!” Dad laughed and I nodded my head with a tight smile.

After we ate and me and dad packed up we left the house, but of course not before we hugged mom and gave treats to Bucky. 

I secretly checked my bag to see my waitress uniform neatly folded inside it beside my books. I got inside my car and drove off to school.

As I arrived and parked my car I noticed Sheri carrying a stack of papers under her arm and a tape in one hand and sticking those papers on every surface she could see. 

And that included the window of my car. 

I grabbed my school bag and got out of the car, “Hey, Sheri! What are those flyers?” I asked as I took one from the window and observed it.

Flower corsages can be bought by the gym until the last day 

“They’re for the prom! Honestly, I’m so excited!” Sheri cheered with excitement. “Hm, sounds interesting! You need help taping them around school?” I asked and Sheri offered me half the stack of flyers. 

“It seems we have printed out a bit… too much…” Sheri laughed in embarrassment as we began to walk down the school's parking lot and put the flyers on everyone's car. “Where else do we have to put them?” I asked as we put the flier on the last car. 

“I think the outside cafeteria… I have to find and ask Lisa how she’s doing with her stack.” Sheri said as we started to walk inside the school. “Alright, let’s go and see.” I said as we walked inside and walked in the direction of the school yard. 

I firmly held the flyers so they didn’t fall out of my hands and I also gripped my school bag. This feelt like an unnecessary morning work out…

“Alright, you can put the flyers on the tables and I will plaster them onto the walls.” Sheri said and I nodded my head. Most of the tables were empty since most students didn’t arrive at school. 

After some minutes, Sheri and I met up at one of the tables and thankfully we didn’t have any flyers left over. 

“While we are on the theme of prom… Do you have a certainperson in mind for your date?” Sheri asked as she lightly bumped my side with her elbow as she was smirking. My eyes widened as I came to a halt. 

“Why do you think I want Jotaro to be my date!?” I exclaimed and she started to laugh, “N/n, I never mentioned Jotaro’s name when I asked who you wanted your date to be.” Sheri sniggered as she grabbed my arm and we started to walk to our classroom. 

“Look, if you want him to be your date, hurry up because those girls aren’t going to waste their time.” Sheri said as she pointed to the six girls in the hallway who were all holding the prom flier and whispering. 

As we walked past them they started to whisper more hurriedly as they started to walk straight behind us. I slightly glanced at Sheri and she only rolled her eyes as we speeded up to our classroom. 

“Hey! You h/c haired girl!” One of them shouted and I stopped in my tracks and turned around. Sheri stopped as well but tugged my arm signaling me to ignore them, but really, I just couldn’t. 

“You’re that girl that’s been hanging around Jotaro, right ?” asked the girl in the middle as she crossed her arms.

“We have classes to attend to, so can you please not, Bonnie?” Sheri asked as she squinted her eyes. 

“I wasn’t talking to you, Hoffman.” The girl snapped back as she glared at Sheri. Now this was already getting out of hand…

“Okay, okay- Let her off the hook. I’m the one you wanted to talk to.” I said as I sighed. Yes, my heart was extremely pounding since I didn’t know what would happen next but I had to stay calm. 

“Great! Nice to know that the new girl has some manners.” the black haired girl, now known as Bonnie, laughed as she side eyes Sheri. 

Was this some kind of female version of Tommy that I didn’t know existed?

“What did you want to talk about, Bonnie?” I asked, already exhausted. Bonnie sighed as she uncrossed her arms, “Listen, we saw how you so desperately want to get close to Jotaro and I just wanted to chime in before you get any ideas.” she said with a smile as her friends nodded their heads in agreement. 

I glanced at Sheri who slightly shrugged her shoulders in confusion, “Alright, continue…?” I asked, wanting Bonnie to elaborate more on her claims. 

“I just wanted to say that he’s going to be my prom date, so I’m just putting that out there.” Bonnie said as she laughed and her friends, as if triggered, immediately started to laugh as well. 

I’m actually having this conversation with her right now…?

“Great, nice, awesome to hear that Bonnie. And if we’re done here, can we go?” Sheri asked, but didn’t let Bonnie reply because she started dragging me into the direction of our classroom. 

“H-Hey! We weren’t finished with our conversation!” Bonnie shouted but we ignored her.

“Stupid whores…” Bonnie huffed as she stormed off in the opposite direction and her friends followed her. 

As we arrived in our classroom, we noticed Lisa sleeping on her chair with her head laid on the table, with a stack of flyers beside her. 

“Lisa fucking Carter!” Sheri shouted, startling the other students in the classroom.

Lisa jumped in her seat and looked around and her eyes widened, “Sheri, Y/n… How nice to see you two…” she laughed awkwardly as she glanced at the stack of flyers on her desk. 

“Why didn’t you put out the flyers!?” Sheri exclaimed as she grabbed the flyers and started to count them.

“Because you already put them on every visible inch of surface around and inside school! People are literally finding these in the toilets and wherever more. So I didn’t see a point.” Lisa said and I laughed. 

“She is right Sheri…” I giggled as I covered my mouth. Sheri sighed and put the flyers back on Lisa’s table. “Whatever… I can’t deal with you this early.” Sheri said and we all sat at our tables. 

After a few moments, Tommy barged in with the prom flier in his hand and a huge smirk on his face, which probably meant nothing good. 

“Ah! Y/n! Glad to see you!” Tommy cheered and I ignored him as I took out my books from my bag.

“A-Ahem- I said. Glad to see you.” Tommy stuttered as he cleared his throat. After I finally looked up, I smiled a little. 

“Oh, I didn’t notice you came in.” I brushed him off and his expression changed to one of disbelief. “Are you feeling alright, Y/n?” Tommy asked with a slightly concerned voice. 

“Why wouldn’t I be feeling alright?” I asked him in confusion.

“Well, you completely ignored me when I came in and didn’t notice me standing by your table. Have you slept well?” he asked and I held in my laughter. 

“Just because I didn’t notice you?” I asked him and just as he was about to answer me, our professor walked in. 

“I’m so sorry for being late… I got held up at home. And Mr. Williams, please take a seat.” the professor said and Tommy rolled his eyes and gripped the flier in his hand as he walked back to his desk. 

And during our whole lecture, I could feel his eyes burning in the back of my skull. I did suspect something bad was going to happen, but now, I needed to focus on this class. 

*time skip to the lunch break, 3rd p.o.v*

Before Tommy could catch up to Y/n, Sheri, Lisa and they ran to the outside cafeteria with their food and sat on one of the tables. 

“I bet he’s going to ask you to prom.” Lisa cackled and Y/n glared at her lunch, “Well, if he tries I’ll knock his teeth out.” she said as she gritted her teeth. 

“You don’t even have to lift a finger, dear. Jotaro will take care of that for you.” Sheri laughed as she subtly motioned to him and his friends who were sitting by the tree. 

Y/n choked on her spit as she looked at both of them, “Guys come on! Don’t do this to me…” she sputtered out and both of them laughed.

“You're so obvious Y/n… It’s really painful.” Lisa commented and Y/n’s whole face erupted in deep red blush. 

“Even if… I like him… We could never work out. My parents wouldn’t approve of our relationship and-” “Oh, who gives a fuck? It’s your life, not theirs! Besides, now you can be Romeo and Juliet.” Sheri winked in Y/n’s direction as she interrupted her. 

“But just imagine! Jotaro walks up to you, ignoring everyone and focusing solely on you, with the most beautiful flower corsage the world has ever seen. And then he gets on one knee and-” “Okay Lisa now you’re just describing a marriage proposal.” Y/n laughed. 

“Well, when we’re going to go buy our prom dresses, we might as well buy you a wedding dress.” Sheri said and Y/n jokingly rolled her eyes, “Alright girls, enough teasing for today… Can we eat now?” she asked and both of them nodded and began to eat their food.

Not so far away from them, Jotaro’s friends were having a heated discussion about, well you guessed it, prom. 

“Listen here guys! That is the night we put on our best suits and ties, and get the hottest dates in Rydell High!” Michael cheered and everyone laughed.

“That would be possible if a girl even wanted to look in your direction.” Dean rolled his eyes and Michael’s expressio dropped. 

“You know what Dean? Tell me how many girls you’ve been out with.” Michael said and Dean kept quiet. “That’s what I thought.” Michael smirked as he crossed his arms. 

“Good grief, you all are actually planning on going to that shit fest?” Jotaro said as he raised an eyebrow.

“Of course we did! I mean, it's a once in a lifetime chance and I don’t plan to spend it at the repair shop. Besides, aren’t you the only one here that has a potential date?” Kakyoin asked and Michael and Dean snapped their heads in Jotaro’s direction. 

“Jotaro!? Having a date!? And nobody told us!?” Michael exclaimed, caught off guard and Dean just ogled at him. 

Jotaro’s eyes widened as he looked at Kakyoin with a flabbergasted expression, “The fuck?” he sputtered out to Kakyoin who only shrugged his shoulders.

“Well, you like Y/n so I thought that you wanted her to be your date.” Kakyoin said as if it’s the most basic knowledge. 

Jotaro’s face flushed in deep red color as his heart picked up its pace. 

What the fuck was Kakyoin talking about?

“I… I don’t like her.” was all Jotaro said as he tried to calm down. ‘Why am I even getting so worked out over this!?’ he thought as he tried to breathe properly. 

Kakyoin, Michael and Dean raised an eyebrow at him with unimpressed expressions at the same time. “Gosh- I didn’t know you were so dumb…” Michael muttered as he face palmed.

“Jotaro, I know you're all tough and badass, but you gotta accept your feelings for once.” Kakyoin said and Michael and Dean nodded their heads.

“But there's no feelings to admit!” Jotaro exclaimed back and Michael and Dean covered their mouths to keep their laughter in while Kakyoin groaned in frustration. 

“Gah- You’re making this much harder than it needs to be, JoJo.” Kakyoin said as he looked over to Michael and Dean for help.

The duo quickly composed themselves and nodded their heads. 

“Yeah, JoJo… Kakyoin is right. You may be dumb and oblivious, but we frankly aren’t. And you know, sometimes you can allow yourself to be happy.” Dean said as he looked at Jotaro. 

Jotaro only stared at the ground and once he looked up, he didn’t look at his friends, but rather Y/n talking to her two friends at her table much far from them. 

He scrunched up his eyebrows and stared at her intensely. 

She was smiling and enthusiastically talking about something with Sheri and Lisa. In his mind, if he stared enough he could probably answer his own question. 

“Do you see my point? You’re literally staring at her right now!” Kakyoin exclaimed and Jotaro shook his head as he came back to his senses. “Man… you’re literally whipped for her.” Michael laughed with a smile. 

Jotaro, frankly having enough about this conversation, got up and stormed off. But a slight blush was still evident on his face. 

As Dean got up to get him, Kakyoin grabbed his arm - “Dean, he has to figure this one out himself.” he said and Dean sat back down and sat on the ground.

“Let’s go back to classes… I’m sure he’s gonna be back soon.” Michael said as he got up and Kakyoin and Dean followed suit.

Jotaro had his hands in the pockets of his black leather jacket as he walked down the street on the way to his house.

After having that conversation with his friends, he needed to clear up his mind. 

Once he arrived at his house, he unlocked the doors and walked in. As he closed the doors and locked them back, he headed to Holly’s room. 

“JoJo dear! What are you doing here? Don’t you have classes right now?” Holly asked as her eyes widened at the sighed of her distressed son.

“I know… But I had to check up on you.” Jotaro replied as he sat down at the end of Holly’s bed. 

“Well thank you, dear. But I don’t think that’s the only reason you came here…” Holly laughed and Jotaro quickly went to disprove her claims but Holly shushed him with laughter. 

“Oh, my dear baby… You think that I don’t know when something is bothering you?” Holly asked Jotaro who only stayed quiet. “Let me guess… Girl problems?” Holly asked. 

Jotaro quickly lowered his gaze at the floor and sighed. “Ah, I see how it is… Well, you’re free to start talking when you want to.” Holly said but she knew that Jotaro wouldn’t say anything so she decided to start the conversation. 

“...Well, what’s her name?” Holly asked as she clasped her hands in her lap. Jotaro glanced at Holly, “... It’s Y/n L/n.” he replied quietly.

“Oh! She has such a pretty name! Tell me more.” Holly said, not expecting Jotaro to start telling the whole story from the mere beginning. 

Holly listened to Jotaro speak about the new girl, but he didn’t even say anything snarky or rude about the girl, which brought a smile to her face. 

“-And now… I’m here, and I don’t know what to do.” Jotaro finished the story. Holly smiled softly, “Well, dear, I’m glad you chose to come to me to talk. And don’t get all fussy about the guys, they just wanted to help out.” she said and Jotaro only nodded his head. 

“Tell me, when you look at her… What do you feel here? ” Holly asked as she pointed to where Jotaro’s heart was.

Jotaro recalled all the moments he had with Y/n recently, and all he could think about was how his heart pounded at a much quicker pace. 

“It feels weird- I don’t know how else to say it.” Jotaro said and Holly nodded her head.

“You know, dear… When I was at one of Sadao's performances at a jazz club, my heart was feeling quite the same… I was super nervous to talk to him backstage, and I actually planned to just walk home, but I didn’t. I took a deep breath and walked over to him and… here we are.” Holly said with a fond smile. 

Jotaro only nodded his head, “... Yeah, dad told me that story quite a few times.” he said with a small smile on his face. “Well then, you know what to do, dear. Now go out of the house and go back to school!” Holly slightly scolded Jotaro who immediately got up and walked out with a small goodbye and headed back to school.

*Time skip to the end of school*

Jotaro and his friends headed to their car repair shop as usual and began to repair a car left by one of Dean’s friends. 

As Jotaro was beneath the car, and Kakyoin was handing him the tools, the others were playing cards. 

“Ah, I can’t wait to show off my killer dance moves at prom… Which brings me, Jotaro, do you even know how to dance?” Michael laughed as he slapped a pair of cards onto the table, shaking their drinks, “Beat that shitface.” he whispered to Dean who angrily threw his cards onto the table and crossed his arms. 

“Ngh- Why are you even asking that?” Jotaro asked as he slid from the bottom of the car.

“Well, how will you dance at the prom with your Y/n dearest?” Danny snigered as he began to shuffle the cards for another round. 

Jotaro got up and wiped his face, which left a black smudge on his right cheek, “...As if she’s gonna say yes…” he muttered as he took a glass of water from the table and drank it all at once. 

“So you’ve been thinking about inviting her to the prom!” Michael laughed but was interrupted by Kakyoin as he walked up behind Jotaro.

“Come on JoJo! For once don’t be so pessimistic… Look, we’re going to go and help you buy a corsage for Y/n one day at school. They’re pretty cheap anyways.” Kakyoin said with a grin as he put a hand on Jotaro’s shoulder. 

Jotaro smiled a little as he crossed his arms, “Well… That’s settled them. But now I want to see if Michael was true to his words when he said knew how to dance. In all 17 years of our lives, I’ve never seen you step on a dance floor.” he said as if to challenge Michael. 

Michael coughed up and stood up, “Dean, I’ll need your assistance.” he said as he put out his hand so Dean could grab it.

“Hell now, I’m not dancing with your dumbass.” Dean said as he scooted away in his chair. 

“Well… You know what to do Danny.” Michael said and Danny turned on the radio that was on the table and a song started blasting. 

Everyone else gave each other weird looks as Michael took off his leather jacket and ran a hand through his brown shoulder length hair, “Well Jotaro~ Ready for a dance?” Michael asked in a high pitched voice as he batted his eyelashes furiously as he approached Jotaro. 

“Good grief, what the fuck?” Jotaro whispered as he tried to get away from Michael who only began to open his arms and giggle, “Come on JoJo~ Let’s dance!” He cheered in a high pitched voice as he began to run towards Jotaro but he moved away and Michael fell onto the floor. 

Everyone began to howl with laughter as Michael picked himself up and dusted himself off, “I’m only helping you out Jotaro!” Michale huffed as he sat back onto his chair and took his deck of cards in his hands. 

Jotaro shook his head as he began to walk away to the car and Kakyoin followed suit. 

“At least he tried…” Kakyoin dried off the tears in his eyes as he sat down on the ground as Jotaro got underneath the car.

“I don’t even know what to say…” Jotaro muttered under his breath as he went back to repairing the car. 

After a few hours after everyone took turns repairing parts of the car, they went back to their homes. 

Jotaro unlocked the doors of his house and got in. After locking back the doors he got into Holly’s room and saw that she fell asleep with the framed family picture in her hands. 

He slowly took it out of her hands and placed it onto the nightstand, “Goodnight mom…” he whispered as he went to refill her glass of water and placed it onto the same nightstand. 

After Jotaro got ready for sleep, he laid in his bed and stared out of his window. The moon brightly shone into his room, making his eyes sparkle in the silver slight. 

He tried closing his eyes but his mind didn’t want him to rest, because all he could think of was the conversation he had with his mother. 

“Tell me, when you look at her… What do you feel here? ” Holly asked as she pointed to where Jotaro’s heart was.

Jotaro put his hand onto where his heart was and he could feel it beating at a faster pace. He shook his head as he turned around and sealed his eyes shut as he tried to relax and hopefully fall asleep

Something felt empty… but he couldn’t put a finger as to what. He tossed and turned in his bed and when he finally found the right position, he closed his eyes and sighed.
