It happens. There are slumps from time to time, and I’m not hurt or really bitter, just stating fact. This blog is an eternal puzzlebox to me. My portrayal gets a good enough reception for me to assume that I’m not universally reviled. Obviously, I know I will never be as popular as some for the simple daring fact that I am roleplaying a popular canon character and singleship. And not the ship that the fandom prefers (lmao), god forbid.

However, I am nothing if not persevering. Things will pick up. University and work are wiping out a lot of my usual partners. I’ll try to take advantage of reduced work hours and be here more often to produce actual content rather than just waiting for it to come to me.

Well, it looks like tumblr is at it again and word on the street the xkit guys aren’t sure if they can fix this one. Before any drastic measures are taken, I’d say it’s time to circulate the tamper/grease monkey script again. Also good to note that the Stylish application, available for Chrome (and its mirrors, at least in the case of Chromium) and Firefox, is very good at reversion fixes (for example, for the sake of nostalgia i changed the alerts back to the cheery red that it was when i first started) and is very stable.

Now for that small rant. I don’t know, maybe I’m feeling paranoid but these last couple updates makes me feel like tumblr is trying to push away the RP community. I mean, we can protest all we want about discussion/debate/writing blogs being affected too, but let’s be real: They’re not nearly constrained by the same etiquette and aesthetics as RP bloggers. And again, maybe it’s just the paranoia that’s talking but I wish if this really was some clever ploy to drive off the roleplayers, they’d just make a damned site ban instead.
