Wth. I know I’m adorable lol. This is autistic selfie day? Cool beans. I was diagnosed at age ten. The symptoms have gotten milder since then, but y’know, life I guess. I still have trouble reading people and situational cues. I don’t know often when to make eye contact with strangers. I don’t know when I am too imposing or too quiet. People don’t like my jokes because I don’t use “joke cues”. I have trouble finding validation among other autistics because I lack some of the traditional symptoms, such as crucial nonverbal skills and taking things at face value. I feel like I’m lying to everyone, and it’s hard to explain why I have the difficulties I do. I also hate the “genius Aspie” stereotype, and it’s frankly, pardon my French, a bunch of shit that makes for ashamed and confused Aspies of low or average intelligence. I am proud of who I am and want the ASD community to be more self-aware. I hope people will stop making broad generalizations about a condition that in fact does not require any two Aspies to have symptoms in common other than poor social skills and a lack of certain learning disorders. Can’t speak for autism, as I have not researched it as thoroughly, but I support all autistics and who they are. Kisses, Kin~

Walking through my town! It’s a great chance to reflect, provided I don’t have to speak with anyone. And today it was raining, which was just perfect. I was drenched, haha.
