#outerhorror gaster

Ozone is a sorcerer. He’s got a knack for casting spells that do ice and necrotic damage in particular. Like Skull, he used to be a bard, but quick wit is hard to maintain when you’ve got a hole in the back of your head.

Solar is a cleric, adept at healing and casting radiant spells. He’s one of the best healers you’ll find, if you can get past his brothers. They don’t particularly like guests.

Outerhorror Sans- Ozone just kind of stares at you. You can almost see the wheels turning as he processes. Finally, he taps his teeth to your forehead lightly.

Outerhorror Papyrus- You had to pull the ol’ “hey can you lean down for a second” trick, but you managed to land a lil smooch on his cheekbone. He just laughs and turns a faint lilac color, calling you a ‘weird little human’.

This one I wasn’t super sure on at first.

Definitely a Gaster look of some kind. I wanted to say Dingbat for this one, but it’s almost got some vampire vibes too, so I though Grawlix and Obelus could also probably pull this one off.

…No one noticed. There’s a little hole in the roof to prove it happened, not to mention the rock that’s still in said hole in the roof, but none of them heard it.

They only noticed weeks later when rain started leaking into the kitchen. Although it took them a while to notice that too. It was the kitchen, so they didn’t really question a few drops of water on the floor. When they finally noticed the issue, Solar went out to look at the roof and found the hole. The rock was pretty much covered up by old bits of bird nest (seriously, how long was this up there??) but Solar knows a space rock when he sees it.

How would the outerhorror and whoever else you want react to this ;)

I’m going to choose bear for this because idk what a crocodile is like irl but i do know that a bear in your house would be terrifying

Outerhorror Sans- Ozone didn’t even notice the bear at first. You might wonder how one could miss a huge furry animal that takes up half the room, but he was hungry and had his heart set on leftover macaroni. He finally notices the bear when the microwave beeps and it freaks out. Luckily he had enough magic to teleport out of the room (after saving the mac and cheese). Then he asks one of the neighbors what to do when a wild animal gets into the kitchen. They call animal control for him, but when they arrive they are completely unprepared to relocate a bear of all things. The neighbor asks why he didn’t mention that it was a bear. Ozone didn’t know that was important information.

Outerhorror Papyrus- “What are you doing in here? Shoo! Out!”

*bear noises*

“I’ve opened the door for you! Get out!”

Solar, standing a safe distance from the creature, opened the door with magic before trying to shoo it out. The bear, being a bear, decides to lay on the table, which breaks.

“No! Bad bear!”

It seems to be falling asleep.

“GO!”

The bear startles and finally shuffles out the door. Solar feels a bit bad for raising his voice, as he knows it’s scary, but having a bear in his kitchen was also scary, so he calls them even.

Outerhorror Gaster- Animals—particularly ones with a strong sense of smell—don’t tend to like Equinox. The void changed his physical form dramatically along with his magic and most animals seem to sense it. When the bear notices him, it goes on the defensive. It tries to stand and hits a cabinet which breaks and startles it further. This continues to happen—breaking three more cabinets, the table, part of the counter, and an unfortunate amount of tableware—before the bear settles on running, escaping the way it got in. Unfortunately that was the back door, which it had somehow closed behind it when it entered, meaning it broke it down to get out.

Nox just stood in the doorway to the kitchen as all of this happened. He takes a moment to process what on earth just happened before warning the neighbors that there’s a bear loose. He’ll worry about fixing the kitchen another time. (Aka Solar will fix it and Nox will all but forget it was even broken)

You didn’t request specific skeles, so I’m going to pick a few (specifically ones who would be completely unused to someone so kind)

Swapfell Sans- Mal spends a lot of time just thinking about s/o. He would spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about his partner anyway because he’s a simp but the way that s/o lives their life is, in a word, inspiring to him. He’ll often think about how lucky he is to have found someone so kind and caring in a world that’s been almost entirely cruel to him and his family.

He goes out of his way to do nice things for s/o in an effort to repay them for being so wonderful. He isn’t particularly good at that in the beginning, but he learns from watching them.

Horrorfell Gaster- How in the world did he end up with someone like this? From a distance, Obelus is just about the antithesis of them: his scowl alone could make a small child cry.

So for someone to look at him, see past that ever-present mask of hostility, and want to comfort him? It’s unfathomable! It’s ridiculous!

It’s incredible. To see the good in someone, despite that person spending his whole life burying any emotions resembling hope and empathy, is beautiful to him. Even still, why on earth would they choose him?!

Obelus is happy—very happy in fact—but the circumstance confuses him immensely.

Outerhorror Gaster- He has no idea how this happened. The comparison between the two of them is laughable. If he and s/o were standing together, one might compare the two of them to... well, there’s a lot of things they could be compared to honestly. Equinox would likely go with “a firefly and a tarantula” or possibly “a songbird and a vulture”, or “a small, nice flower and a very large cactus that’s on fire and altogether unpleasant to be around”. But even he has to admit that that last one is quite wordy.

Most people wouldn’t complain about having such a kind-hearted and compassionate s/o, but he often complains for their sake. He often asks questions ranging from “Why do you spend so much time with me?” to “I saw a very nice looking fellow at the store today, wouldn’t you rather be with someone like him??”. Equinox doesn’t really want them to leave, but he’d feel terrible if they were stuck with him when they’d be happier elsewhere. He has to get over some of the anxiety that he’s developed in his more recent years for him to really settle into being their partner.

Horrortale Papyrus- S/o quickly becomes his favorite person. The day they met, Spook was already enamored by their kindness. Not quite romantically, of course: they only just met! But he was very platonically attracted to them and really wanted to be their friend! And then they wanted to be friends with him! Even though he’s a bit scary...

Swapfell Papyrus- Look, Rus is cool about a lot of things, but this one is difficult for him. Not in a bad way, it’s just really hard to pay attention to S/o’s story while his ADHD ridden mind is focused entirely on wanting to touch the wings. He just really wants to snuggle into S/o’s wings because they look so soft! And warm! That’s prime cuddles right there!

S/o will need to tell Rus about exactly what they are at a later time because he’s not paying attention to that at all. He absolutely loves their wings though, so their secret is safe with him.

Birdtale Papyrus- “S/o!!! S/o!!!!!”

He’s speechless! His beloved S/o who sadly does not have wings acTUALLY DOES HAVE WINGS!!!! Magpie is so ridiculously happy that he doesn’t even have time to be mildly hurt that S/o waited so long to tell him!! They can go flying together!!! And their wings are beautiful! If you can fall in love with someone a second time whilst still being in love with them the first time, then that is exactly what just happened! Just!! So much love!!!

Outerhorror Gaster- “That’s...”

He hesitates. “Humans don’t do that? D- do they? Am I wrong about that?”

Poor guy starts doubting everything he knows about humans. S/o will need to clarify that they aren’t necessarily human. After that, Nox is fairly calm about it.

“Oh. Well, why did you wait so long? To tell me, I mean. Oh, I suppose you already said you weren’t comfortable...”
