While representing BikeFlights.com, West Coast Event Specialist Colin Blanchard got in some riding, too. Given the sheer number of people attending Outerbike, we had called for reinforcements, picking up Salt Lake City shredder Luke Macfarlane to assist Colin. Upon arriving a day early and after setting up the BikeFlights.com booth, the duo decided to do a quick lap on Rockstacker. Unfortunately, this did not end well for all involved; Luke crashed and separated his shoulder.

The pair did not let this mishap ruin the Outerbike; instead, they kept the stoke alive for the remainder of the event, whether that meant helping riders find new trails to ride or getting a quick lap in here and there.

The weather wasn’t perfect for the entire weekend, but it was good enough. Storms rolled in for the end of Saturday, but they did help tack up the trails for the following day’s shred, albeit with a few puddles.

With more and more companies shipping with BikeFlights.com all the time, it was great to catch up with some of our partners. One of them, Mondraker, let Colin take a rip or two on one of their new Foxy RR SL bikes, which - for the record - matches BikeFlights.com blue perfectly.
