Our weekend together was everything that I needed and more. We went and got day drunk while testing all different kinds of beer. You drank the ones that I didn't like and we bought too many beer tickets. We laughed as we discussed the beers, gave each other sips from our mugs, and talked about all crazy kinds of things. We talked about what's in store for us for the future. Hint: hockey season tickets and travelling instead of having kids. We drunkenly ordered pizza and tried to act cool so they didn't know we were drunk. We talked about having sex in my condo's elevator (someday) and collapsed on my bed at 9pm as if it was 3 in the morning. We ate pizza and had sex and fell asleep and woke up and watched a movie and fell asleep again. It was too hot so we stayed as far away from each other as possible, but it made everything better just to have you beside me.

How I Found This Song ā I found Maggie Schneider through an ad on Facebook! Even though I usually scroll past those ads, for some reason, I decided to give her music a listen that day, and wow am I glad! I loved her music when she only had like one or two songs out, and now that Iāve heard her entire album, sheās definitely one of my favorite singers. Sheās also in a band called Eve, and hopefully theyāll have music out soon too! I thinkĀ āOur Weekendsā was out when I found her music, but it wasnāt on Spotify until the album came out a few weeks ago, so thatās when I first heard it. I absolutely love it and itās one of my many favorites on the album!
Why I Recommend This Song ā Itās such a great jam! Maggie has such a cool, unique voice, and it gives this song such an awesome vibe and an incredible sound. The backup harmonies complement the song so well, and I love the fun melody! Thereās this one little acoustic part at the beginning of the second to last chorus that has a nice change in the melody and itās a really sweet surprise (itās one of my favorite parts of the song). The lyrics are so incredible, too! This song is definitely one of my favorites right now, and I promise the rest of the album is just as flawless! Maggie is a totally unknown artist, but sheās so talented and I definitely see her going far in music! She just opened for State Champs recently, so thatās super super cool, and Iām so excited to see what she does next!
