Morning dining room table dump. My friends at @defensemk sent me a pair of evaluation @ottoengineering Range SA earpro to check out, and see if they were worthy of some coverage. After a few range shifts and a course down at @thunderranchinc , I can definitively say that these blow my Sordin MSAs completely out of the water. I bought a pair of ARC rail adapters, and loaned the OTTOs out to a SWAT buddy who went to the most recent @directactionresourcecenter NVG Instructor course, and he was also pretty impressed with the OTTOs compared to his issued TCIs. He's now going to start looking at the TAC Pro series to see how their boom mic and radio leads work with his kit. Now that they are back in my hands, I just mounted the Range SAs to my work helmet, and GOSH. DANG. The seal on these are fantastic. They take a little getting used to to pop in and out, but these are incredibly comfortable. Going to have to take the setup to the live range for more shooting, but my initial impressions are that the OTTOs are very, very much worth the look.
