... Morino luôn làm mọi chuyện một mình, không phải nàng bị bắt nạt mà ngược lại, nàng có thái độ xa lánh mọi người xung quanh và chỉ ngồi im tại chỗ. Nàng không cần nói nhưng cũng tạo ra cảm giác là người có sở thích và hứng thú khác với mọi người.
"Cái con bé Morino ấy, hồi học cấp hai nó từng định tự sát đấy."
Có người đã nói như vậy. Tôi nhớ tới chuyện đó và nhìn cánh tay trắng nhợt của nàng. Tôi không biết tại sao nàng lại định tự sát, nhưng chắc hẳn đối với nàng thế giới này là một nơi rất khó sinh tồn.
Tôi nghĩ nếu như mình ngừng diễn kịch thì có lẽ sẽ trở thành một người giống như nàng bây giờ. Khi những người xung quanh biết tôi là một kẻ vô cảm cùng cực và thiếu lòng nhân ái, không biết cuộc sống của tôi sẽ khốn khỏi đến thế nào. Nếu so sánh tôi bây giờ với tình huống lúc đó thì hẳn cũng chẳng có gì thay đổi cả, tôi vẫn sẽ cô độc thế thôi.
