Awww lieb Mama!
I always knew Lieb was a mama's boy but like. He's old at current day so his mama is already resting peacefully having died of old age. Living 2 be about 220 something the way really impressive otos do. She was a farm matriarch and she was in the first generation of otos to pick up giving your kid a specific name so she's kind of used to just being called <mother>. She's <dominion-over-all>'s new agey hippie mom so he got a really tough name and spoiled too much + she's doing all this culturally fresh shit like cute accessories and pants.

Bottom is Lieb of course, @g0dsp311's little guy, AC and some kind of tourist idiot I haven't developed much yet.
Sawyer and the lil blue dude are great examples of underdeveloped skull shapes in otos! Usually the skull is inflated shortly after eclosion, causing the variation in shape and the structure for hearing. You can see a version of hearing aids on the blue guy.
AC's wildly different colors are partially dye and partially related to her upbringing- pseudofur can take pigment, but it's a largely unheard of body mod to most otos [to be fair, so are tattoos]. She was raised on a megaship orphanage run by humans, however, so she's much more familiar with human culture than her own.
The green guy at the very end is showing off a more oto-specific mod- skull implants. The number one most attractive oto feature is having a weird head, so subdermal implants are a pretty popular choice. While they're occasionally for medical reasons [usually a more permanent solution for individuals with hearing problems] they're usually just for looks. This oto's "horns" are hollow metal forms that rest on top of their skull. They've probably had several versions of this, in the same way one might gradually size up gauges.

This was where I ran out of energy for AF but honestly I'm SO glad I got here because if I was aspirational about anything this year it was getting DJ.
