Maria has always been a really great parent

She was severe and firm abut also loving and supportive

She shows you great values and always encourages you

Tells you how strong you are and how to be independent

She also tells you to chase your dreams, that you’re capable of them

Your familial relationship is pretty healthy and great

You get along and also make an effort to understand each other

You do worry about her a lot knowing her line of work

Even if you realize how badass she is and how capable she is

Also knowing the Avengers and SHIELD have her back anyway

And you are very proud of her and what she does

You admire her a lot and want to be like her

She was already training you a little, teaching you what she knew

Mostly so you would be able to defend yourself

But when you really had the opportunity to be like her was later

Once you learned that you were a mutant with powers

Maria was surprisingly calm about it, even if she was alarmed

But she calmed and comforted you when you found out

She told you that having powers is not a bad thing

That you could learn to control them and use them for good

She helped you as much as she could in that process

But she also offered you to train with her and Fury

You met them when they passed by your hometown

Immediately, you recognized Aang as the avatar

And you went to talk to them, interested by the heroes you admired

All those posters of them, all the things you read about the avatar...

They soon realized you were deaf, even if you read their lips

You did it so subtly that it wasn’t completely obvious

You just had gotten used to reading people’s lips to hear them

After talking a bit with them, you told them the truth

You wanted to accompany them and help the avatar

They were a bit hesitant, mostly worried about you

But Toph quickly supported you, knowing you weren’t helpless

You had also read a lot and your knowledge could come in handy for them

So they accepted and you became a member of their group

At first they babied you a bit, until they realized you were doing okay

You had been deaf long before you met them and managed great

You get along really well with them all, especially with Aang

You’re not as close to Sokka and Katara at first, but soon after

With Toph you don’t always get along because of her strong personality

But you understand each other in a special level because of her blindness

Overall, she knows of your struggles and people’s perception of you

Even if your dissabilities are different and so are your experiences

At least one of them knows sign language, and it’s probably Aang

Katara wants to learn it too, in order to communicate with you

Sokka tries himself, but has a very hard time remembering it

Instead, he’s ingenious and finds another way to communicate with you

You insist that he doesn’t need to, you can read his lips

But he does anyway, trying to make sure you’re comfortable around him

You establish little gestures with meaning that expand to the group

For example, two taps on the shoulder means ‘be careful’

An arm squeeze means ‘thank you’ or ‘I care about you’

A few signs have stayed with Sokka from seeing them so much

For example, he’s learned how to sign ‘thank you’ and ‘are you okay’?

Because Aang and Katara always use sign language to talk to you

But Sokka understands you pretty well with only glances and gestures

And you have come to understand him pretty well too

You have a very interesting conversation with them once

Talking about how you imagine their voices sounding

You say that Sokka’s is definitely high-pitched and he gets offended

You imagine Toph’s voice sounding deep, even if it isn’t

But you are right about Katara’s being sweet and Aang’s kind

Toph sometimes uses her earthbending to communicate with you

Especially if they have to quickly warn you and your back is turned

You either feel the vibrations or see the ground moving

You feel like they’re your family for many reasons

Most important of them is because they make you feel normal

While at the same time, accomodating to some difficulties you may have

Frodo is quite an affectionate person

He really enjoys showing you as well, to tell you he loves you

He especially likes snuggling with you or holding you

Frodo is happy when you are between his arms

He always smiles at you and caresses your hair 

He loves that too, playing with your hair, it’s so soft

So when you put your head on his lap he likes it too

He also likes teasing you a bit, being playfully and joke around

You yourself show your affection in your own ways too

You like taking his hand since he doesn’t do that often himself

But other than that, he’s pretty open to all displays of affection

Like kissing you as well, even if he gets a bit shy in public

When there’s someone around he will kiss you only on the cheek

But he adores hugging you at any time, and taking you by surprise

Those unexpected tight and warm hugs of his are the best

Cloud had heard you talking about tattoos many times

However, he was surprised when you asked him to accompany you

For one, he never thought you would actually get one

And he also didn’t expect you to ask him to go with you

In fact, he was confused as to why him and not someone else

“Are you scared?” “No, just a little nervous” “Why you want me to go?”

“Just for moral support, I guess, it’s my first tattoo” “Okay...”

Cloud went with you, trying to think of something to say

On the way to the tattoo parlor, he noticed how nervous you were

So he tried to say something to comfort you a little

“I’m sure it can’t hurt that much” or “The design is pretty cool”

He’s terrible at small talk so that’s the best he can do (he’s trying)

When you arrive and you have to wait, you get even more nervous

Cloud sees this and says something again “It’ll be fine. Plus, I’m here”

You are reassured by his presence, that’s for sure, so you smile at him

When you sit down on the chair and see the needle, though...

Cloud is standing right next to you and you hang on to his shirt

You awkwardly look at each other, glad that no one else saw it

Cloud smirks a little, which somehow distracts you from it all

It’s the first time you see him so relaxed and almost amused

“Are you laughing at me, Strife?” “Uh, no... Sorry...”

You actually chuckle, but don’t let go of him still

Until the needle goes on your skin, then you try to act brave

It hurts, but not nearly as much as you had imagined

Still, you are a little scared and nervous of the result

Cloud is a bit worried about you and offers you his hand

“Here, squeeze it” And you gladly take the offer

You squeeze his hand hard, but he never once complains

He even makes small comments here and there

About how good it looks, or something to distract you

Amongst other things, since you shared so much things

You were into the things he likes like he’s into those you like

With time your bond only grew stronger

Especially after your father left

Jim bottled his feelings, but you cried a lot

And he was there to comfort you and make you feel loved

To remind you that he was still there and wouldn’t leave

You also tried to help him in a way

If he didn’t want to talk about it, to at least be there for him

Just like him, to remind him that he was loved by you

He’s very protective of you in almost every way

Jim sort of takes responsibility for your father’s absence

He refuses to abandon you like he did

But he learns to open up a little more as well

To lean on you like you have been leaning on him

To drop that facade of his and speaks his mind and his heart

You had bumped into each other often when you were kids

One day you realized he loved the story of the treasure too

You bonded over that, discussing it for hours on end

When you were children, you were convinced that it was real

You talked about Flint and about the treasure, about the possibilities

Even when you grew up, a part of you believed it to be real still

Being there for Jim when his father left him

Your friendhsip really helped him during those tough times

But not even you could fill that void for him, only lessen it a bit

Jim’s mom really likes you and thinks you can be good for him

Sometimes you do stop him before he gets in trouble

Other times, more often than you’d like, he pulls you in instead

Dropping by the inn and even helping sometimes

Jim’s mom always smiles when she sees you, she’s fond of you

“Hear that? You can call hear Sarah, not even I get to do that”

They often mistake you for sibligns since you’re always together

And in a way you are siblings, you’re definitely like family

So you start small by giving him a few kisses on the cheek

“What was that for, Y/N?” “I just felt like it” “Right”

He tries to play it cool, but you catch him smiling to himself

You might even catch him touching his cheek in awe

Like he still feels your lips on his skin and he likes it

Then one day he did something really sweet for you

You were supposed to meet and when he appeared he had a gift

“Is that for me?” “Yeah, it made me think of you” “Cloud...”

You just melt right there, which makes you do something spontaneous

Without thinking, you kiss him in the lips, and he freezes

It was a quick innocent peck, but Cloud.exe has stopped working

“Uh...” He averts his eyes from you and he’s blushing. “Glad you like it”

You start kissing more often, even if you usually initiate all affection

Because whenever Cloud touches you it’s subconscious gestures

Like holding your wrist to stop you from walking intro traffic

Or tapping your arm when he notices you have stopped listening

But he secretly enjoys the affection, he’s just too stubborn to start it

And too shy, but never in a million years would he admit that

When you start kissing more often, it’s small loving pecks

One when he comes to pick you up, another when he drops you off...

Then they get a bit more passionate and he grows more confident

Seeing that you put your arms around his neck or your hand on his chest

So he starts cupping your cheek as he kisses you, or holding your waist

If you give him enough time, he might even start getting passionate himself

You don’t always travel with them, even if sometimes you do

For the most part, you take care of your business and arrange a meeting

Promising to see each other again soon somewhere previously agreed on

You do miss each other dearly, and often gather souvenirs for each other

And even snacks for Momo and Appa

This also means that reunions are always cheerful and heartwarming

“Y/N is back, Y/N is here!!” are the words often spoken

Whether it is Toph sensing you or Aang spotting you from the air

Sometimes you try to scare the other a little bit

Since you don’t always know how long you have to wait

Sometimes they wait a few days until you reach the place you agreed

One time you pretended to attack Sokka once he was practicing

He was mindlessly throwing his boomerang when you lunged at him

That moment is often spoken about, he almost had a heart attack

He and Aang did have payback when they took you by surprise once

You were focused on training and they attacked you from the sides

Aang almost felt bad, but Sokka laughed out loud and gloated

When you’re all finally together, it’s time to catch up

You’re all so excited as you exchange gifts and stories

Telling each other what happened while you were away

Aang and Katara always want to show you their improved bending

And Toph always scoffs, calls them amateurs, and shows off 

There’s also many jokes, fond nicknames and shenanigans

Sometimes taking some time to go shopping or something

Even if at times one of you is in a hurry and can’t afford it

You are always so supportive of each other

If someone needs help, you’re there as soon as possible

You have trained many times together, gone through so many things

So any of you are ready to go into battle to help and protect the other
