Saw the thumbnail and thought this was a skit. Then saw the microphones and realized they're being serious. WTF

1) Madoka Magica isn't asking you to be sexually attracted to its characters. So how is it related to objections to the trope of "this child-looking character is 1,000 years old"? The only way that trope is problematic and gross, is when the framing makes the "1,000 year old child" sexualized. These guys are objecting to Madoka Magica by relating it to that trope. WTF! MADOKA MAGICA IS NOT ABOUT THAT, IT DOESN'T FRAME IT'S CHARACTERS IN ANY SEXUAL WAY, WHY ARE THESE GUYS ASSUMING THAT IT DOES??????????? That's some major projection.

2) And the misogyny…omg THE MISOGYNY… This just reeks of objecting to a Shojo genre series because of insecure masculinity that can't stand males interested in "feminine" things. omg This is why my football linebacker brother who loves Shojo, Romance, and anything cute, is so much more well-adjusted than these guys.

3) WHAT DO YOU MEAN A SHOW BEING GOOD ISN'T A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO WATCH A SHOW????????????? Does this go back to the assumptions that because the character aesthetics are young and cute, that it "must be" a pedo series?????????????? ….I complained once that we complain that men are all sex pests, but then we don't allow men to be anything but sex pests, because of our assumptions that men can only be interested in things because whatever it is, must be making them sexually aroused. But sometimes there are guys like these that reinforce those misconceptions themselves. You're making guys like my brother look bad, by gender-association, goddamnit!!!!!!!
