This valley is famous for the mighty Monviso mountain massif where Italy's longest river, the River Po, flows from. This valley is the ideal place for anyone who loves nature, from gentle hills and high-altitude meadows to towering mountains. There are so many sports to try out, too, ranging from trekking to horse riding, mountain biking to rock climbing, kite surfing to paragliding, downhill and cross-country skiing to canoeing and rafting. The list is endless! 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Catch a bus from Turin to Barge with 'Cavourese', Monday to Saturday. At Barge there's a mini shuttle bus that makes stops at Paesana, Ostana and Crissolo (as well as Pian della Regina and Pian del Re but only during the summer months). Ring the Tourist Visitor Centre in Crissolo or Ostana to find out the latest timetables for the shuttle bus. ______________________________________ #Ostana #BorghItalia #BorghiPiùBellidItalia #Italia #Italy #Piemonte #Piedmont #Ig_Piemonte #PiemonteOutdoor #WhatItalyIs #WeLiveToExplore #Monviso #Alpi #Alps #MountainsAreCalling #MountainLakes #MountainScape #Ig_Cuneo #IgersCuneo #VolgoCuneo #ClickFor_Piemonte #RoadToPiemonte #MegaPiemonte #SiViaggiare_Piemonte #Earth_Shotz #OurPlanetDaily #NatureDiversity #TravelPhotography #Living_Destinations #TravelAndLeisure (at Ostana) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYUi5FTKLo6/?utm_medium=tumblr
