the way that david would have triggers for all of the dogs- it's not a full drop or anything, but there's something in their minds that makes them need to listen to him, to follow orders. the sound of his voice feels impossible to deny.

specifically for gabe, i think those two gifsets where finlay's SUPER touchy, grabbing his neck, where he almost has a fail safe built in. definitely the "simmer down!" is a spoken trigger to calm, but the hand around his throat practically shuts him down, gives him a new order. he's definitely the one that needed extra triggers.

oskar with the full black gear- the old world monster aesthetic, the slow walk to the ring, the heavily embossed gear, the haunting entrance music that instills fear in all of them. he's always been imposing but the aesthetic during this tournament is really leaning on that feeling, the nightmare that he is.

yuto with the white gear- the new music is hype, the crowd gets hype as he comes to the ring and rungs around. his gear is also embossed, the vest is of course covered in ice, but also the white-on-white detailing, it's all iced out. his gear is bold, his whole aesthetic is new era, in your face type shit. it's just like him, an in-your-face brawler type, a demand for attention.

and this is why they always worked well together, yuto writes all the checks and it's oskar that cashes them. now yuto's gotta prove that he can cash them, and oskar has to show he can take the fight to others, make those same checks that made KoB so strong.
