Normally Elpis would have killed the man on the ground. He had no reason not to, but he had no need to kill the goon. He had already broken the man's dominant hand, so he couldn't shoot the gun he'd aimed at Elpis, and the man was definitely no trained fighter. So Elpis left him there and continued into the building.

It is actually amazingly funny how difficult this is, cause I am so freaking new to this fandom and don't know nearly enough characters in it through more than just friends obsessing and posting random image links at me.  XD

The first character I first fell in love with

Starfire, cause she was adorbs in the Teen Titans cartoon.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now

Bart Allen, actually.  My first exposure to him was from the Young Justice cartoon and I liked him.  He was fun.  But Wally was still my favoritest speedster ever at that point and I was still pretty bitter about his lack of screentime in season 2.  

But then I picked up a random Flash book that had a bit of Bart in it and I was like, "Hey, this kid seems fun."  And then I picked up the first Impulse collected issues and I never looked back.

When I was first considering picking up Bart as a character to rp on my forum, I was a little worried he'd be fun to play, but ultimately kind of shallow.  But I kept reading and booooy was I wrong.  He has all that depth, but it's subtle and not shoved in your face and I just adore how genuine he is about everything.  That, imo, is what makes me prefer comic!Bart over YJ!Bart in the end.  I enjoy them both, but I love comic!Bart's innocence, cluelessness, and his genuine emotions.  I like the fact that despite how messed up his history is and how big of an impact it has had on him, he doesn't see it that way and isn't all traumatic past.

The character everyone else loves that I don’t

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummm.  I am really useless at this.  I honestly don't know.  I have so many characters I love, but comics are dicks to characters so do I want to BE them?  Hah.

The character I’d slap

Wally, start acting your age and stop being a jerk to your 2-year old cousin.  He might LOOK fourteen/fifteen, but seriously.  The kid is like 2.

A pairing that I love

Robin and Starfire.  Again, from my days of watching Teen Titans.  Also, Green Arrow and Black Canary, cause yeah.

A pairing that I despise

Haha! I’m actually planning to write one shots of each of the casualties.

It will take some time though as I will have to hit up old RP buddies on YM and IRC to see if they have logs of the events to make it as close as possible (since this whole Rogue’s War thing was actually a collaborative effort between myself and some other RPers about five years ago). But if I can’t find them or they don’t have logs, I’ll have to wing it and go with what my brain remembers.

I can, at the very least, write Ivy’s and Clayface’s death since I was directly involved in those without looking for old RP buddies. I even mentioned Ivy’s pre-death here, in the first meme response.

Spoiler alert, under the cut, in case I don’t end up writing it down anytime soon. But what happened with Clayface was:

I love how it is an outlet. And, honestly, if it weren’t for writing, I may not be alive today.

✾ - What do you look for in other people’s writing? 

Respect. But how is that even possible? Well, you show respect to your fellow writer by putting even the barest of efforts into your reply. You don’t have to match their word count. You don’t have to format your writing if theirs are formatted.

But at least put some effort into running your reply through a spell checking program. Use proper punctuation marks, even if its just the most necessary: period/s. Don’t use l33t speak or however that’s spelled (unless, I guess, your character is some form of artificial intelligence but, still use it sparingly). Give your partner something to reply to. And write something actually related to your partner’s reply.

Because, Merlin’s beard, I knew an RPer once, four or five years ago whose replies consisted mostly of monologues and flashbacks that had no relation whatsoever to the thread proper. They treated other characters and other muns as if they were just NPCs. And that really makes me grind my teeth.
