The new Big Mek model is really awesome, just a big walking Swiss Army Knife! I'm finally playing Warhammer again next week so I'll see if I can paint him up before then.
I forgot to mention I played my first game of 10th edition a few weeks ago. I had a lot of fun. 1000 points vs Necrons, my buddy and I were both there to roll dice and learn our updated armies so we didn't have any objectives.
My Gorkanaut got in a slug fest with the Silent King for 3 turns before dying. I don't think he did a single wound in the shooting phase.
My Beast Boss on Squigasaur tanked an insane amount of wounds and finished off the Silent King. He was then quickly gunned down by 60 gauss rifles.
My biggest takeaway was how awesome Flash Gitz are. Not to metachase or anything but I want to run 30 of them because firing 120 shots in the shooting phase is very funny...
Anyway I'm converting more Flash Gitz out of Nobz and a bunch of Ogryn Ripper guns I have. I'm also gonna need to get two more Trukkz for them.
One more Gorkamorka Necromunda vehicle, this will be for my Ork Goliath gang. I didn't really have a plan on how I wanted to convert this Kustom Boosta Blasta going in. I started by giving the driver a stub gun and quickly realized it wouldn't fit with the big turret in the back of the cab... so I removed the turret completely and added a mesh sunroof and finally a spoiler in the back. This vehicle may be light on weapons but it will be super fast if I can get all the upgrades I want for it.
I think the Boosta Blasta may be my favorite of the new Ork buggies, it's either this or the Scrapjet. It's a beautiful kit and very orky!
Wurrboy go brrrr

The new Ork rules seem fun. I haven't been keeping up with everything about 10th edition so I don't know what all the keywords mean but I'm mostly liking all the changes. Here are a few standouts that I like.
Nearly all the vehicles have at least a 6+ invul.
Killa Kans have a chance to start attacking nearby Orks (lol)
Squigasaur is still great but now I think the Beastboss on foot is super killy on his own.
Transport capacity for the Gorka/Morkanaut got increased to 12 which is fantastic.
Flash Git shooting got worse, but I like Kaptain Badrukk's new rules (they gave is radioactive gun an Aura lol) so I'm probably gonna take a unit of them.
Big Mek in Mega Armor can heal dead Meganobz!!!
Deffdreads are still good n stompy
Mek Gunz seem pretty good, especially if you have them behind a Mek Workshop and babysit them with some Mekboyz for +1 to hit.
Overall I'm very happy with what we're getting. I definitely want to try out a lot more units and start fielding more infantry again.
HELL YEAH!
