Another painting based on a digital study. Using traditioanl media however enable me to use nice materials like the gold and silver metallic watercolour pencils that mkae the patterns on the cubes as well as the orb (or egg, since it's egg-shaped) above the figure's head. This is one of the acrylic paintings where I used a lot of coloured pencils for small colour variations all over, the grass especially. On pieces this small it's otherwise difficult to not use one flat colour and make the whole picture look flat as a result. I really like the effect of highly exposed areas versus the shadows.
