A massive and important imperial cinnabar lacquer slip-trailed and gilt-painted 'dragon' cabinet, Ming dynasty.

CHIPPENDALE SLANT LID DESK IN RED PAINT.

2nd half 18th century, New England. The rectangular birch dovetailed case with hinged sloping lid supported by lopers opening to an interior of cubbyholes with an arrangement of 8 drawers centering a simulated prospect door (unable to open).

The case additionally fitted with 4 aligned graduated drawers, each with original brass bales and oval escutcheons on a molded base with bracket feet and bold scalloped returns.

Corner cupboard with oak front, containing four triangular hinged drawers and two compartments of shelving at top and bottom, the bottom door constructed with tongue-and-groove panels, all decorated with Aesthetic Movement handles and false strap hinges, with a conforming fretwork frieze mounted to top.

FINE AND RARE AMERICAN RED GUM KAST

attributed to Bergen County, New Jersey, circa 1775, excellent proportions with dramatic deeply molded cornice, over two paneled doors opening to shelved interior, two paneled doors centering highly figured panels, lower side hung long drawer with false double front flanked by molded diamond appliques, set on boldly turned ebonized feet, probably original bat wing brass escutcheon, dovetailed construction, 78-1/4 x 74-3/4 x 27 in.
